"I have to. I must fight those assholes so they won't hurt my precious princess and my beautiful Queen" Nitski said as she ruffled Ema's hair softly and kissed her forehead softly
"But won't you get hurt?" Ema asked
"Your mom is strong. I can take them" Nitski said as she smiled brightly. Ema trembled a little and hugged her mom tightly. Nitski smiled and held her closely. She lifted her head up as she felt someone behind her. Nitski turned around and saw Cyndi hugging her
"Be careful..." Cyndi said
"I'll be very careful..." Nitski said as she wrapped an arm around her pulling her close
"You'll come back right?" Ema asked as she pouted
"Of course I'll come back. I won't leave my family behind. You two are very important to me" Nitski said and held her two babies closely
"Will you be eating at least?" Cyndi asked
"Well I suppose so since it'll be a long trip..." Nitski said as she groaned
"Is it really that far?" Ema asked
"Unfortunately...it's really far" Nitski said
"You'll be careful..." Cyndi said
"Relax Cyndi. I promise to be careful and take care of myself better" Nitski said as she smiled
"You better..." Cyndi said and gave her a quick kiss
"How about we sit down and eat together?" Nitski asked
"Is it ready yet?" Juhin asked as he rested on the couch with his daughter
"Just a few more minutes" Yuzu said from the kitchen
"We need to put the finishing touches" Shai said as she helped Yuzu out. Meanwhile the third Okogi stayed behind with Juhin
"Ortho, will you miss me?" Juhin asked
"Quit it..." Ortho mumbled
"Dad will fight off those assholes right?" Miyu asked
"Miyu, don't use that language" Ortho said
"Sorry Papa" Miyu said as she smiled
"Yep. I'll be fighting those assholes to protect my family. They won't be able to defeat us" Juhin said as he smiled
"Can I go? I can fight too. I have strong flames" Miyu said
"No sweetie. You're still super young. I know you're strong but maybe once you're a bit older" Juhin said
"Then I can train with Papa right?" Miyu asked as she looked at Ortho
"Sure sweetie but we'll have to find a place where you won't be able to burn everything that comes in your way" Ortho said
"Alright" Miyu said as she nodded. Mitsuko and Matsuri walked out of the hallway and went to the living room
"Hey Matsuri. Our shit is ready" Nitski said
"Good. We'll need to get enough energy to at least get through the entire night" Matsuri said
"My people are charged up and ready" Maruta said
"Thanks Maruta" Matsuri said
"And dinner is ready!" Yuzu and Shai said which made the children rush over towards the table
"Ah!" Shai exclaimed
"Stampede!" Yuzu said as she jumped into Shai's arms
"Waah! Spicy curry!" Yua and Miyagi said as their mouth began to water
"Let me take a bite of that steak please..." Hina said as her mouth drooled
"Girls sit down" Liana said as she started to put the plates down
"But it's steak!" Hina said and Liana patted her head softly
"Sit down. You'll get your piece" Liana said
"Mmgh...okay but give me the big steak" Hina said
"No. I called dips on it" Miyu said
"Can you two not start?" Koharu asked
"Let's just enjoy our family time" Kiyoko said
"She's right..." Miyagi said. Yuzu and Shai started to serve the children first then placed it in front of them
"Spicy curry?" Yuzu asked
"Me!" Yua said
"I would love some" Miyagi said
"I would like some too Auntie Yuzu" Miyu said
"Me too" Hina said
"Since when did you two eat spicy?" Asuka asked as she looked surprised
"Oh we just want to do a challenge" Hina said
"What did I say about playing with your food?" Hana asked
"But this time we'll eat it and see who handles the most spicy" Hina said

"Here" Yuzu said as she served her daughters

"Can't handle the heat?" Miyagi asked

"I agree with Fuyuhime. It's a bit too spicy" Kiyoko said

"Spicy isn't my thing..." Asuka said
"Does Sachie like spicy?" Yua asked
"Uh...I believe Sachie doesn't since she is more of a sweet person. Probably because she has a sweet tooth..." Ema said
"Mm..." Sachie said
"Alright girls. Eat up before it gets cold" Yuzu said
"Yay!" The girls said and began to dig in. The parents sat in another table near them and started serving themselves
"These are for you guys" Liana said as she handed the vampires their drinks
"Thanks Liana! You're the best!" Nitski said as she grabbed the small bottle
"You're always there for us" Juhin said. The vampires took a sip of their drink to be able to eat the meal
"It's been a while since I've eaten human food..." Cyndi said
"I'll be savoring the taste" Nene said as she drooled a bit
"Let me taste the curry. Is it really that spicy?" Nitski asked
"I suggest you don't. It's really spicy that it made Mei and Himeko cry" Yuzu said as she laughed
"Quiet..." Mei said coldly
"I don't get how you two can eat that" Himeko said
"Let's just sit down and eat" Harumin said. Everyone sat down to eat and drank a bit of wine
"Phew...you weren't kidding. That curry is spicy but very delicious" Nitski said
"Hmm...maybe a little too spicy for me" Juhin said as he wiped his mouth with the napkin
"I told you" Yuzu said
"Mm...this steak is cooked to perfection" Cyndi said
"Mm...so delicious" Nene said as she smiled
"The Okogis are always the best cooks" Mitsuko said
"How are you kids doing?" Maruta asked as she looked at the girls
"We're fine" Yua said
"Actually...Hina and Miyu are crying" Koharu said
"Ugh...it's spicy" Hina groaned
"Damn what the fucking shitty hell?" Miyu coughed softly
"Do you girls need more water?" Ortho asked as he stood up and grabbed some more water to serve them
"Y-yes..." Miyu said
"Please Uncle Ortho..." Hina said. Ortho nodded and started to serve them more water
"Fuyuhime...give us ice" Hina whimpered
"We tried to warn you" Fuyuhime said as she pulled her index finger out them began to give them ice. Hina and Miyu started chug down their drink while placing the ice inside their mouths
"Good thing I didn't try it. I think I would've died.." Ema said as she trembled
"How are you two calm? Miyagi is releasing steam" Koharu said
"It's normal for her" Kiyoko said
"We just love spicy curry" Yua said
"Yeah...you love it a little too much" Asuka said and took a bite of her steak
"Good thing this doesn't have veggies. I hate it" Miyu said
"You should learn to eat veritables. They're good for you" Kiyoko said
"Blegh...no thanks" Miyu said
"I rather eat spicy curry than that.." Hina said
"I rather have spicy noodles than curry" Asuka said
"Noodles aren't so bad either. They're not that spicy though" Yua said
"You two don't find anything spicy at all. You can even eat a pepper without water" Asuka said
"That's because of our power. It helps us actually if we eat a bunch of spicy food" Miyagi said
"I'm surprised your ass doesn't burst out fire" Koharu said as she laughed
"Shut up" Miyagi growled
"Please calm down" Kiyoko said
"We don't need you two to start fighting" Sachie said
"My bad Sachie" Koharu said as she smiled a little
"My apologies..." Miyagi said and glared at Koharu. Koharu looked back at her and stuck her tongue out a bit while smiling. Kiyoko sighed and kicked her leg underneath the table
"Ow..." Koharu said
"Please behave..." Kiyoko whispered

"Thanks for dinner Okogis. You two will always surprise me with your cooking skills" Matsuri said
"We did it for you guys. Hopefully you have enough energy for your trip" Yuzu said
"Don't worry. We're okay" Nitski said
"We definitely have enough energy for the trip" Juhin said. Suddenly two other vampires appeared behind them
"Eh? Hunton and Prisma?" Nitski asked
"Hey we'll be joining in your adventure. Isn't that great?" Prisma asked as she smiled softly
"Yeah... great" Nitski said as she rolled her eyes and jumped as Prisma hugged her
"Don't worry Cyndi. Nitski will be in good hands" Prisma said and laughed as Nitski pushed her off
"Please don't hold me..." Nitski said and Cyndi hugged her
"Don't do anything funny..." Cyndi said as she glared at Prisma
"Relax I won't. I was just joking..." Prisma said
"Are we going now?" Hunton asked
"Someone is eager" Juhin said
"I don't get why I agreed to do this" Hunton said
"Because I said so. Anyways I believe we should get going. We shouldn't waste any time" Matsuri said
"I'm going to miss my little babies!" Juhin said as he faked cried while hugging Ortho and Miyu closely
"I'll miss you too dad...please be careful" Miyu said
"And try not to injure yourself severely. Please...I love you and I care about you" Ortho whispered. Juhin kissed him and kneeled down kissing Miyu's head softly
"Everything will be okay. Trust me" Juhin said as he smiled
"...this is gross. I'll wait outside" Hunton said as he stepped out of the castle
"He is an ass. Why should he come along?" Nitski asked
"We need all the help we can get..." Matsuri said
"Yeah...I don't think he'll be very useful to us" Nitski said
"He'll just be a distraction..." Matsuri said
"Try not to hurt yourself please..." Mitsuko said and kissed her. Matsuri kissed her back and pulled away
"I'll be okay baby. I promise I'll be careful" Matsuri said and looked at the kids
"Will you bring back something for me?" Asuka asked
"Heh I'll try. Now remember what I told you two? Help each other and take care of one another" Matsuri said as she patted both their heads softly
"We got it" Asuka said
"Mhm" Sachie said as she nodded
"I'll go too" Liana said
"E-eh?! Wait sis!" Hana said
"What? Why?" Matsuri asked as she looked surprised
"This journey will be difficult for you guys so I'll be there as an assistant. There are a few tricks that I know will be helpful for the trip" Liana said
"But Liana...it's dangerous. You're a human" Hana said
"Hana, I know you're worried but I will be okay. Just believe in me" Liana said as she gave her a warm smile but Hana only trembled before Liana gave her a hug
"I know you're worried but trust me...everything will be okay" Liana said as she ruffled her hair
"Are you really coming?" Matsuri asked
"I've made up my mind so you'll have to deal with it" Liana said
"She'll probably be useful then.." Maruta said and jumped as her daughters kept clinging onto her. Maruta smiled softly and patted their heads softly
"I'll be okay girls. I promise I'll come back safely" Maruta said
"Mm...please stay safe" Kiyoko said as she teared up a bit
"I promise" Maruta said
"... don't get hurt" Koharu said as she trembled
"I love you both. I promise I'll be okay" Maruta said as she gave them a hug and kissed their forehead softly. She stood up and Harumin instantly kissed her back. Maruta blushed deeply and trembled before she kissed her back
"You better be back home soon..." Harumin whispered softly as she broke the kiss. Maruta smiled softly and kissed her nose softly
"I'll be back soon" Maruta whispered
"You better..." Harumin said
"Time to move..." Matsuri said as she headed out the doors
"Here we go!" Nitski said
"Wish us luck" Juhin said. The group stepped out of the castle feeling the freezing cold breeze and the vampires were stretching their wings while the horses were waiting
"Good luck!"
"Be safe out there!"
"Kick some ass!"
Matsuri opened up her wings and didn't mind that her wing was somewhat ripped
"Alright everyone! Let's move!" Matsuri said as she flew along with other vampires while Liana got on her horse heading into the forest. In just seconds, the group vanished into the darkness. Mitsuko trembled as her heart began to ache terribly
