Penelope said "Ok you little sneaky siblings, which one of you hid my homework" she was staring at each one of them intensely. One of them fessed up and handed it back to her.

"Thank you. If you do that again, I won't let you leave the house." she said. They all shook their heads then ran to their rooms

"I almost forgot how much they are a hassle to take care of" she said half-jokingly. I listened to the commotion down stairs and laughed. 'She's really cute. But I'll have to leave within a week, so no getting attached...' I thought to myself. I walked into the kitchen and saw as Penelope got pranked by her little brother with a bucket of water dumped on her.

"Oh, You're dead!" she said laughing, she ran upstairs and started tickling the Tickling the poor child.

"So how many more times will you prank me again?" she asked her little brother

"No more! Hahaha! Please I surrender!" The little brown haired boy exclaimed in laughter. She laughed as she stopped tickling him. She walked to her room disappearing for a little while before coming back out in dry clothes She walked downstairs and started on dishes, once that was done she started dinner. Once dinner was done she shouted "Dinners ready!" Everyone was at the dinner table. I sat awkwardly at the table looking at the kids, Penelope, and the Mom. Penelope handed the plates of food and sat down with my plate of food. She asked,

"Are you okay Nick?" She asked with a hint of concern with

"I'm fine just not used to eating with people..." I said in reply she smiled then said

"I hope your not to uncomfortable about it"

"I'll eat it would be disrespectful not to." I said with a polite smile. She smiled back and nodded as she began to eat. I ate slowly enjoying the home cooked food. After the siblings were done she told instantly them

"Put your plates in the sink before you go to your rooms!" They groaned as they did so. I laughed leaning back in my chair

"Thank you for the meal Penelope." I said gratefully.

"It's no problem." She replied with a smile.

"So, if it's not rude to ask how old are you?" I asked somewhat hesitantly.

"Why do you ask?" she replied.

"Do you want a lie or the truth?" I said back.

"The truth please." She replied. I sighed before saying

"I think you're really cute and I wouldn't mind asking you out." She blushed slightly before answering,

"Well to answer your question, I'm 17 years old."

"How much does this household need you?" I asked quietly. She laughed a bit

"Our dad left us when I was four and since then my mother has never asked for my help but I always given my help"

"How long are you planning to stay here?" I asked. She gave a small sigh

"Not much longer but I was planning on staying somewhat close..." she replied. I stayed quiet for a bit before asking quietly.

"Would you mind leaving early and coming with me?" I asked trailing off. She looked shocked and seemingly thought about it for ever before she finally replied.

"I would love to." looked at me and smiled. I smiled widely at her before saying "Really?!?"

"Of course, honestly I was going to ask if you were going to leave soon and if I could come with you." she said in a shy tone. I laughed.

"I'm planning on leaving tomorrow. But just know I'm looking for my sister so I'll go wherever I have to to find her. You may not see your mom for years." I said quickly. She stopped a second to think then looked back up at me and said

"I'm ok with that... I will miss them yes but I'm willing to still go with you."

"Okay, go pack and get a good night's sleep it may be the last one for a while.' She nodded and went to her room and started packing. I sighed and headed up to my room flopping on my bed I quickly fell into a fitful sleep
