Tyler is practicing with Ash at the outskirts of The North. Tyler extends his right arm as shadow thread like needles comes out from his fingertips. "Nice~" Tyler said as he looks at his kwami. Ash nods then smiles 

"Your doing great!" Ash said excitedly. Tyler chuckles as he extends the other arm as more shadow thread like needles come out. Ash smirks mischievously then he thought to himself "This kid got potential since the last time~" 

The thread then hits a boulder as it went in. The shadow thread goes out from the boulder as it disintegrated into tiny pieces of rubble. Tyler's eyes widen as his eyes were full of excitement. "Wow" He said then looks at the kwami. A

sh nods then sat on Tyler's left shoulder. "Your pretty good at this" Ash said as Tyler blush from the compliment that Ash gave him. The thread goes back to Tyler's back. "We should go back to The North" Tyler said to Ash as he sighs in the end. Ash nods as he rested on his left shoulder. Tyler chuckles as he walks towards The North.

Meanwhile...

Bailey alongside with 10 more other teenagers, patrolled the high walls of The North. Bailey look through the binoculars to the open land. She saw Tyler along with his kwami out in the distance. 

"What is he doing there?" She whispers to herself. Tyler is walking forward. His kwami jolts up and hovers at Tyler's face. Tyler nods as they both disappear as shadows engulf them. Bailey drops the binoculars. 

"You Two! Go and Tell Ethan! The rest follow me!" Bailey along with Eight other teens jumps off and ran towards the shadows. The two jumps off and headed towards Ethan. Bailey and the eight  teens are at the last place where Tyler is. 

"Tch. Where are they?" Bailey ask annoyed as she lost the two. They all look around but still nothing. Bailey sighs as she looks around. She looks up as she saw shadow thread like needles coming straight for her. 

One teen protected her by portal-ling her out of harm's way. The teens came running towards Bailey as they pulled out their weapons, some don't have but use their powers. Tyler came down the and lands. He looks at them with a mischievous grin. 

"What do you think you are doing Tye?" Bailey said as she pulls out her signature weapon, a sharp spear with flames at the end. Tyler looks up then laughs maniacally. All the teens shivered at his laugh. 

Bailey didn't flinch as she had past experience with it. Tyler looks forward as shadow thread engulfs him. All the teens steps back then goes into a defensive position, gripping they're weapons. 

After a few seconds, Tyler is in a different suit or better yet has armor surrounding him. He creates a sword as he goes into an attack position. The blade glows dark at the end as black and purple electricity surrounds it.

Bailey bit her lip as she goes into a defensive position. Two teens dash towards Tyler as 1 punches the ground making walls that surround Tyler in a square. The other one jumps to the air and breathes out fire. Tyler stayed still as the fire consumes him. 

"Is he dead?" A teen said. The Two teens that dashed towards Tyler walks to the wall. As they got near, dozens of shadow thread like needles comes out and flies towards the Two teens. "GET OUT OF THERE!" Bailey screamed and commanded to the two but it was too late. 

The threads pierce the chest of the two teens. They both gasp as blood comes out from their mouths. One collapse on his knees as the other one collapse to the floor on his side. The walls that surrounded Tyler collapse. 

Tyler chuckles as the thread pulls back. Bailey growled as she dashes towards Tyler along with the others. Tyler stayed still as he puts the edge of the sword down to the ground. Purple electricity comes out from the sword as waves of it goes to the group. Bailey jumps up along with 4 more but the rest are not lucky. 

The rest screamed in pain as jolts of electricity flows through their veins. Bailey and the four landed and started to gang up on Tyler. He released the grip on the sword as he got pushed back a few meters from Bailey's combo. Tyler sighs as he extends one arm and it's fingertips. Shadow thread comes out from it. 

Bailey deflected it with her sword as did the rest. One shadow thread slips up into Bailey. She gasp as she falls on her knees. 2 dash towards Tyler. 1 shot three ice arrows towards him and 2 threw some knives. 

The other two protects Bailey from shadow threads by deflecting it. Tyler dodge all of them and caught one knife. 2 did a 4 punch combo at him but Tyler deflected it as he stabs him with the knife. 1 growled as he jumps up at the air and rains arrows at him. Tyler used the 1's body to cover himself from the arrows.

 A thread caught 2 whilst in mid air ending up piercing through his chest. Tyler smirks as he walks slowly towards Bailey and the remaining teens whilst stepping over the dead bodies. Bailey stands up as the 2 teens keep deflecting the threads. "Re-re-tr-treat" Bailey said as he panted in between. The 2 teens nods as 1 carries Bailey and leaps off with the other teen.
