I am shaken awake, as I open my eyes and the world comes into focus I see Teresa looking at me with panic. "Your parents are calling!" She panics. I pick up my phone, and as soon as I hear it I drop my phone, dashing downstairs I turn on the news, I freeze with shock not noticing that Teresa, Aris, Mary and Jasper are there.

      The once peaceful place that we all lived, turning out to house a killer. The possibility of the whole thing earth shattering. We look at the TV with unbreaking silence as if when one should break it, the whole thing would turn out to be real. But that's the harsh reality...it is real. The image of the victim shows up on the screen. The text on the bottom catches my eyes, "work of a serial killer?" And, "for what motive?" It read.

          Turning my head to look at the three siblings, I see that their expressions are unreadable. "If that's the case, the serial killer then it's not over, right?" Mary questions. I see Jasper's eyes flash to my face. "Righttt, lets not think of it too much," Teresa laughs nervously.

We all go about our morning routines, silently. Before heading to school, I feel slightly glad that we all are in a group. I see Mary go onto her phone, seeming to try to find out a bit more on what the situation is.

     The school day, a blur. Most of the talk was of the news. Jasper pats my shoulder at one point seeming to try and comfort me. I smile, even though he says that he is terrible with human interaction stuff, he seems to be doing perfectly fine with it. I never notice Aris and Teresa seeing this interaction, smiling as they had witnessed the rare moment of it.

     As the school day ends, I begin to head home with Mary. "Wait up!" Teresa's voice calls out, we turn to see them catch up. "It would be best to go in a group," Jasper explains, his voice seeming to have concern laced with it. We nod, and go as a group to our homes.
