Hermione Granger scrunched up her nose. This made no sense. People can't come back to life. Once you're dead, you're dead. Right?

She treated it like it was a problem that needed to be solved. Hermione got multiple books out from the library, trying to figure it out.

It's been a week since Fred came back, along with Lavender Brown, the following.

"Hermione, it's time to go to breakfast." Lavender said, pulling her out of her own thoughts.

Hermione looked up from her book and glanced around. All her other roommates had already fled the poster covered room. Her section of the room was the only part that didn't have shirtless guys hanging on it.

"Thank you," Hermione replied, closing her book. "I'll be down in a few minutes."

Lavender shrugged and walked out leaving the bushy haired Gryffindor to her thoughts. She quickly changed and went down to breakfast.

The Great Hall was already flooded with students, some happy, others asleep, and some excited. Hermione grabbed two pieces of French toast and egg whites, and settled across from Ron and Ginny, and next to Harry.

"Morning love," Ron said, after shoving his face full of food.

"Morning," She replied, using her fork to poke her eggs.

"Find anything?" Harry asked. They knew of her mini quest to figure out what had been going on.

"Nothing useful," Hermione responded.

"Maybe you should try the restricted section." Ginny offered.

"And risk getting in trouble?" She asked, horrified. "No way."

"Maybe-" Ron began but their ex professor, Sybil Twelawney puffed green smoke out of her mouth and began to float out of her seat.

She cried the words,
The golden three will go to the sound
and meet those who've been far bellow the ground, they'll go to the end and descend below the dirt, by the finish more than one will be hurt.

Once the last word was breathed Sybil collapsed to the ground. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. In fact a 2nd year Hufflepuff, dropped her hair pin, when she was attempting to pull her hair up.

"Everyone back to your common rooms!" The headmistress hollered. "Prefects lead the way!"

It had been a week, and another had come back from the dead, Colin Creevey. Everyone had been rejoicing, because of all who came back, except for Hermione.

Sure, she was happy to see all the Weasleys so ecstatic and all of the other students, but it didn't sit well with her. And why should it? People were being resurrected for God sake!

She buried herself even further into the research, spending countless hours reading in the library.

"Hermione, are you ready to go?" Ron asked, annoyed.

"No, I'm not done. You run along. I'll see you later." She replied, barley looking up from her book.

Ron has grown irritated. "Can't you take a break?" He asked.

"No," Hermione replied, sternly.

"Can't you just be happy for my family? For me? My brother is back. Fred! The one who made you annoyed but so amused. Can't you be happy for George? You know very well that wasn't the same since Fred's death!" Ron snapped.

"I'm sorry Ron. I didn't mean to upset you, but this bothers me. I need to get to the bottom of it. You should understand that. I am happy for your family." She replied. "But what if something's coming? Huh? Something dangerous. You should understand that."

"Whatever Hermione," Ron sneered. "Once you desire the company of people let me know." With that he stormed off, leaving an annoyed Hermione.

She couldn't stand it, so she dug deeper. She finished her last book, and opened up a new one, Ancient Greek Hell and Hades. Since the prophecy mentioned going below the ground Hermione found all the books she could on hell, even myths.

How silly. She thought. It won't be in a myth book. But it's worth a try.

She read through the book and things almost made sense. Descend bellow the dirt. Going to hell? No. It was Tartarus. That was bellow hell, where all the horrible and despicable monsters go. If it was real Lord Voldemort would definitely be there.

Satisfied with that answer she began to try and understand what 'the sound' is. Hermione looked in the library for countless hours. We found nothing.

I can't believe I'm using the last resort. She thought.

She left the library, not before checking out the book, and left. Hermione went to the basement and to the Hufflepuff common room. Two second years were entering.

"Wait!" She called.

They turned and looked at her. "Your Hermione Granger! The Boy Who Lived's friend!" One of them said.

Hermione scowled, she loathed being known mostly for befriending Harry. "Yes you dolt, she is!" Said the other.

"Um I was wondering if I could get in? I need to speak with Janet Jenson." Hermione replied.

"Sure," the second said.

They entered and she was struck by how bright it was. There were yellow and black banners hanging on the walls and plush yellow sofas people were sprawled upon.

In the corner was a mousy third year, Janet Jenson. She had thick glasses and green eyes. Her pale face had freckles, sprinkled under her small nose. She had light brown hair that was pulled back in a bun. Her thin body was covered by her uniform and she was hunched over a computer, even though they are not allowed at Hogwarts.

"Janet," Hermione said, causing the young girl to look up. "We need to talk."

"Hermione! The head girl! How are you?" She asked, nervously.

"I need to use you're computer." She replied, ignoring her question.

"My-my computer? No!" Janet replied, griping if tight.

"I wasn't asking, I was telling." Hermione said, prying if away from her.

"I'll tell a prefect!" She replied, smirking.

"Tell a prefect what? That you snuck a electronic device into school? And when the head girl asked to use it you said no?" She remarked, smugly.

"Fine," Janet mumbled.

Hermione used the computer, something she hadn't done in a long while. She searched 'the sound' and Long Island came up. Apparently it was sometimes referred to as that.

"Thank you!" Hermione said, rushing out of the room.

She ran up the staircase and all the way to the Gryffindor common room. Harry and Ron were doing their homework.

"Harry! Ron! I've figured it out!" She exclaimed, running into the common room.

"You did?" Ron asked, surprised.

"Yes!" She replied.

"Well bloody explain it!" Harry said.

"The first line, the golden trio, that means us. The sound, is Long Island. Meet those who've been far below the ground. Now I've read a
lot of myths on this one, but the Greek one makes the most sense. Far bellow the ground, meaning Tartarus, Ancient Greek hell. We're supposed to meet those who've been to Tartarus! We'll  go to the end, possibly meaning death, and go below the dirt, meaning hell or Hades. And more than one will be hurt, is pretty self explanatory." Hermione replied, explaining her hunch.

"Well," Harry said. "It looks like we'll be taking a trip to Long Island."
