Estel's POV

So, we managed to figure out where the coffins are. Thanks to my friend. Just not how to get them back. "Can’t your friends help?" Klaus asks.

"No, the coffins are being hidden by 100 witches. Even if we got into the house, we wouldn't be able to find them, " I state.

"Dead witches," he states.

"Do I have to remind you how powerful one dead witch is?" I retort.

"Then what do you suggest we do?" Klaus asks.

"Anything from your connects?" I ask.

"Bonnie is looking for her long lost mother," he states.

"Of course," I say, grab mt grimoire.

"What?" Klaus asks.

"This is how they open the coffin your mother is locked in," I state, showing him a spell. "It takes two witches to perform. Mother and daughter, not only would it bring your mother back. She'd be more powerful with access to the whole Bennett line. Living and dead, " I explain.

"Well, then we have to find her first and use her as leverage to get the coffins back. Then we kill her, ensuring my mother stays dead, " he states.

"Sounds like you have everything under control." I state. As I pack my bag.

"Where are you going?" Klaus asks.

"To stall Elena and Bonnie, then go meet my sister," I state.

"I'd rather you focus on Bonnie and Elena until I have her mother," he states.

"That could take all day," I tell him, and he says nothing. "Fine, but only to ensure your bitchy mother can't hurt my family" I state. I left and went to the Gilbert house. I arrive to see Bonnie and Elena with a lot of files. "What's all this?" I ask them.

"I'm helping Bonnie search for her mum," Elena states.

"Why? She abandoned you years ago. Why look for her now?" I ask Bonnie.

"It's a secret," she tells me, and I pout.

"Since, when do you keep secrets from me? I helped train you, " I remind her.

"I can't tell you, but will you help? Three pairs of eyes are better than two, " she states.

"Fine, but only because we're friends," I state and grab a file as we sit at the kitchen counter.

(Time skip)

"Los Alamitos?" Elena asks, showing Bonnie a file. We've been at this for over an hour. I believe I found the right Abby in Monroe, North Carolina. So, I hid the file in my bag to prevent them from finding it. Klaus had texted, his hybrids had found her, and were on route. I should only have to stall a little longer.

"To old," Bonnie tells her.

"Honolulu?" I ask, showing her another folder.

"I wish" she tells me. "How many of these are there?" Bonnie asks Elena.

"A lot. I asked the sheriff's office to pull up every single Abby Bennett in the country, " Elena tells her.

"I know we haven't been able to really... that things had been weird because of Jeremy, so thank you for helping me with this. I know you have a lot to deal with, " Bonnie tells her. "Thanks for helping also," she tells me.

"No biggy," I assure her. "Speaking of Jeremy, how is he liking Denver? " I ask Elena.

"He's settling in well" she tells me. "There's nothing more important, Bonnie," she adds.

"It's surreal. Having to track down a woman, who bailed on her own kid, " Bonnie says.

"You know, you don't have to, right? Let Stefan obsess over opening up the coffin. It doesn't have to fall on you" Elena tells her.

"I agree" I add.

"The coffin is spell shut. That makes it a witch problem. So it does fall on me. I was bound to see my mother again sooner or later, " Bonnie telks us. As Damon appears with a folder.

"Sooner. Abby Bennett Wilson, Monroe, North Carolina. Born in Mystic Falls Hospital, graduated at Mystic Falls High...blah blah blah, " he says, handing the folder to Bonnie. "A little compulsion helps sped up the research process," he tells us.

"This is her," Bonnie says as I silently curse.

"Yep.Road trip. I call shotgun" Damon states. Elena tells him, no. "Why? I'm the one who found her" he reminds her.

"Okay, Damon. Look. Bonnie hasn't seen her mom in over fifteen years. We don't need your snarky commentary narrating the experience, " she tells him.

"What's going on with you two?" Bonnie asks.

"We kissed. Now it's weird. Have a great trip, " he tells us. Before leaving.

"Why would you kiss Damon? " I ask Elena.

"You've kissed him too," she retorts.

"Yeah, to protect my sister from him and to prevent him from going on a killing spree. What's your excuse? " I ask her.

"Can we discuss this later?" Bonnie asks.

"Why? I thought you'd enjoy a distraction from your mother, " I state.

"Yeah, well, I would rather leave before Stefan calls to check on us," she states.

"Fine, I'll drive," I state. "Give you a chance to talk to Elena about her horrible taste in men" I tell her.

(Time skip)

So I tried to delay our arrival as long as possible. Also warned Klaus about us being on our way. He assured me everything would be fine and told me to play a long. Whatever, that means. "We almost there?" Elena asks to avoid Bonnie's questions about Damon.

"Yeah, ten minutes," I  tell them. "You sure about this, Bonnie? We can still turn around," I tell her.

"I can't turn back now" she tells me. I nod and ten minutes later, I park outside a house in the middle of nowhere. We were invited in by a boy named Jamie. Not long after Bonnie's mum appeared. Elena and I go outside to give them some privacy.

We go to the barn. Stefan is suddenly in front of us. "Hi, Elena. Nice lake house, " he says. "So, what did you think I wouldn't find out?" Stefan asks her.

"Honestly, I didn't care," Elena tells him.

"This is exactly why I didn't want you in the loop, Elena," he tells her. "Why is Estel here?" Stefan asks.

"I was invited unlike you," I tell him.

"Yeah, because now you can't do whatever you want," Elena states. Stefan breaks a chair, and Jamie appears. He shoots Stefan and I. Tying up Elena, I am going to kill Klaus. This was my favourite shirt.

Bonnie was kidnapped by her mother. Elena tricked Jamie and was free. She removed the bullets from me first. Then, she went to help Stefan. I told them I was going after Bonnie, which was a lie. I went to Klaus's house.

He soon returns with only three coffins. "Where's the fourth?" I demand.

"They moved it," he states. I slap him. "What was that for?" Klaus asks.

"Jamie ruined my favourite shirt because you had him compelled to shoot me!" I snap.

"I'll buy you a new one," he assures me.

"You had better," I tell him. As one of his hybrids enter the room. Guess he told them to come back.

"You've got your family back. Finally. You're gonna open them?" He asks Klaus.

"Not quite yet. I still have some unfinished business to take care of," Klaus tells him.

"You mean we," I remind him.

"What business?" The hybrid asks. Suddenly, Daniel is squirming and falls to the floor, dead. Elijah is standing behind him with his heart in his hand. Klaus looks shocked. So am I.

"Elijah," I say, shocked.

"So Estel, Niklaus..." Elijah says.

"Elijah," Klaus says.

"What did I miss?" Elijah asks us.
