Estel's POV

It's been two and half weeks since I've been home. Klaus hasn't let me out of his sight and has been making many hybrids. I still don't have magic and haven't heard her voice since I failed to stop him. I sigh as I look out the window of the apartment we have been staying in. We are currently in Portland, which seems to be a breeding ground for wolves. One thing I've noticed, is they all seem to be sired to Klaus.

"Start packing" Klaus says as he enters the apartment.

"Why?" I ask him.

"We're returning to Mystic Falls" he declares and I look at him shocked. "No time for questions, pack and get changed into this" he says placing a bag on the table. "Plane leaves in under an hour" he adds and goes to his room. I frown in confusion.

I take the bag and go to my room. I pack using vampire speed. Before looking at what was in the bag. It's navy and black dress with matching black heels. Why do I have to dress up so nicely? Why is he in such a joyful mood? I sigh and change, then put a black coat on over top of the dress. I rejoin Klaus in the living room.

"Lets go" he says and we left. We got into a car outside.

"What's going on?" I ask him.

"My father is daggered and I wish to see his body" he states. I get a flash of a man. "Apparently he went after Elena" he adds.

"Why the dress and heels?" I ask him.

"It's homecoming and I am planning a party at the Lockwoods, Tyler is handling the details" he states. I nod my head. We catch the plane with his hybrids an fly to Virginia. Before driving the rest of the way to Mystic Falls, Klaus has his coffins dropped off at a warehouse.

'Revive Micheal' the voice tells me.

'Why?' I ask.

'He has a weapon that can kill Klaus, kill Klaus and you can have your magic back' she states.

'Why should I believe you?' I ask her. 'You have only ever caused me and my family pain' I state.

'What if I said I could make you a witch again?' she asks.

'Impossible, there is no cure for vampirism' I state.

'Who said anything about a cure? I said I could make you a pure witch again, interested?' she asks. I look at Klaus.

'What do I have to do?' I ask her.

'Wake Micheal and ensure nothing gets in his way of killing Klaus, do the best you can and you will be rewarded' she states. Before going silent.

"My mother?" Klaus asks me.

"If your father is dead, will you let me return to my family?" I ask him.

"Of course, I'm sure you'll see your sister tonight" he states. What means more to me? Being a witch or my family? Well that's easy, my family. If I stand against Klaus and he lives, he'd kill them. But if his mother returns and I don't try to stop him. She'll kill them.

"Promise my family will be safe?" I ask him.

"Of course" he says. I look out the window fighting with myself. How do I keep my family safe from Klaus and his mother? I have to plan this out carefully.

(Time skip)

The party is in full swing. Klaus said I could go find Caroline. But I wasn't to leave the Lockwood property without his permission. Stupid compulsion. If I still had my powers, he wouldn't of been able to compel me. Anyway, I've figured out what to do. I just pray everything works out and I made to right decision.

"Estel!" Care cries and hugs me tightly.

"Caroline!" I say hugging just as tight. "I've missed you so much little sister" I state.

"I've missed you, I thought you had been killed" she states.

"Not killed, kidnapped" I correct her. "But I'm ok" I assure her.

"I can't believe Tyler put together a better party then me" she says pouting. I chuckle.

"Who are all these people?" Bonnie asks as she joins us. "Welcome home Estel" she says with a smile.

"Good to be home" I tell her.

"This is weird! Where is Tyler?" Care asks and I shrug. Just then Klaus appears on stage.

"Good evening everyone! I wanna thank you for being here with me to celebrate! It's been a long time coming" he states.

"I'm gonna go find Tyler" Care states and left.

"So how are you?" Bonnie asks me.

"That powerful witch I told you about, took away my powers" I grumble. "So now I can be compelled and I can't leave this estate until Klaus says so" I state.

"Or until we kill him" she says lowly.

"I'll try to help, but there's only so much I can do" I tell her just as quietly. She nods her head. "Go tell the others involved" I state and she left. As I walk amongst the crowd I feel eyes on me. I head to the edge of the crowd and I see a shadow in the trees.

"Hello" a man says stepping out and I get a flash from a thousand years ago.

"Mikeal" I say.

"You look just like her" he states and I shrug.

"I'm not her though" I tell him. "Klaus isn't alone, he has about twenty hybrids here" I add.

"Think you could get them all here?" he asks.

"Maybe a few and they can get the others, none are on vervain" I tell him.

"Excellent" he says with a smirk. "Think you could grab Elena?" he asks.

"Doubt it, last time we meet I tried to killed her because of your wife" I sneer. "She won't trust me" I state.

"Very well, I'll have one of the hybrids grab her" he states. I nod and call a couple over. Micheal compelled them all. Sending one to collect Elena, while sending the others to get the other hybrids. So that he can compel them.

"So where's this weapon?" I ask him.

"Not on me, encase Klaus decides to hide in that house like the coward I know him to be" he states nodding to the Lockwood house. "Run along, you'll be free of his influence soon" he tells me. I nod my head and go inside.

"There you are, having fun?" Klaus asks me.

"As much as I can being stuck here" I tell him. "Did you see where Care disappeared too?" I ask him. He shakes his head. "I'm gonna go find her, be-careful" I tell him and left as one of his hybrids appears.

"Estel" Tyler says surprised as I meet him on the second floor.

"Where's my little sister?" I ask him.

"Sent her home with Matt" he states. I nod my head, glad she is safe.

"Thank you" I say. "And thank you for taking care of her in my absence, but I plan on not leaving again" I tell him.

"I'll still be there her" he adds and I smile.

"Just don't break her heart, otherwise I'll have to kill you" I tell him.

"I don't plan on breaking her heart" he assures me "What's going on?" he asks and I listen. We go to the window and see Klaus talking to Micheal. Who is surrounded by Klaus' other hybrids. "I have t do something" he states and I snap his neck. Can't have him dying on me. I then listen in on what's going on below.

"The big bad wolf. You haven't changed. Still hiding behind your playthings like a coward" Mikael sneers at Klaus. "You only forget. They may be sired by you, but they're still part vampire. And they can be compelled by me" he states. Mindy comes forward with Katherine, who is pretending to be Elena, smart.

Mindy hands Katherine to Mikael. "Come out and face me, Niklaus. Or she dies" he states.

"Go ahead, kill her" Klaus tells him.

"No, Klaus. He'll do it!" Katherine cries.

"If she dies, this lot will be last of your abominations" Mikael states.

"I don't need them. I just need to be rid of you" Klaus declares.

"To what end, Niklaus? So you can live forever, with no one at your side? Nobody cares about you any more, boy! What do you have other than those whose loyalty you forced? No one" Mikael tells him. I notice Klaus' eyes tearing up and frown. I never thought I'd see him cry.

"I'm calling your bluff, father. Kill her" he states and I appear behind him.

"Come outside and face me, you little coward. And I won't have too" Mikael states.

"My whole life you've underestimated me. If you kill her you lose your leverage. So go ahead. Go on. Kill her. Come on, old man. Kill her" Klaus says tears pouring down his cheeks.

"You're not alone" I state and come stand beside him. "Hush now, wipe away those tears" I say wiping them away. Then glare at Mikael. "Klaus is no coward, he just knows when to fight and when not to. That takes brains, unlike you" I sneer. "Go ahead and kill her, while I live none of your children will be alone again" I state.

"Thank you" Klaus says.

'You will regret this' the voice sneers as Mikael glares at me. Mikael stabs Katherine with a dagger and pulls it out. She falls to the floor, faking death. I hear someone behind Klaus and I, we turn and Damon stabs Klaus in the stomach with a white oak stake.

"Klaus!" I shout. As I hear an explosion behind me. I turn to see Katherine had used grenades. I look back at Klaus, to see Stefan tackle Damon off of him. I pull the stake out and look at it then Klaus. Making a split second decision, I ran at Mikael and stab him in the heart with it. "Go to hell" I tell him and he falls to the ground his body bursting into flames.

I hear the voice scream in my head and grip it as it feels like it's been set on fire. I scream and my world goes dark. The last thing I see is Klaus hoovering over me.

(Time skip)

I wake up in a car beside Klaus. "What happened?" I ask him.

"You passed out after killing Mikael, I guess mother wasn't happy" he states.

"Understatement" I grumble rubbing my head. He offers me a blood bag and I give him a grateful smile. "What else happened?" I ask him.

"Well Damon left sulking, I freed Stefan of my compulsion" he states. "Now I am going to wake our family" he adds. "Why did you save me?" he asks.

"I wanted to prove I'm not her, I will not make her mistakes and it is not my job to fix ones she created" I state. He nods his head. "Look, this doesn't mean I've accepted you and the others as my family. I just didn't want to be her pawn anymore" I tell him.

"Of course" he says as he pulls up outside the warehouse. He looks into my eyes. "You are free Estel, you will never be compelled by me again" he tells me.

"Thank you Nik" I say and get out of the car. "I'm going home" I tell him and he nods his head. I remove the heels and run home. I arrive to see Tyler leave and ignore him. Going inside. "I'm home!" I call.

Caroline appears and hugs me tightly. "Are you back for good?" she asks.

"I am" I tell her and she smiles.

"Sleepover!" she cheers and I giggle nodding my head. Just then the front door opens and we turn to see mum. "Look who's back" Care says. Mum runs over and hugs me.

"I'm so glad your home safe" she says.

"I won't be leaving again anytime soon" I assure her. "How about Notebook?" I suggest. They agree and mum goes to make popcorn while Care sets up the TV. I sit on the couch, it's good to be home. I hope all the drama is over. At least for a little while.
