Estel's POV

I woke up to see a vampire crouching over Elena. I throw him away with my power. "You ok Elena?" I ask I get up.

"Yes, thanks Estel"  she says grateful.

"You're a witch" the vampire says shocked.

"Yeah and if you want to hurt Elena. You have to go through me" I sneer glaring at him. He snarls.

"Trevor control yourself" a young woman says as she enters the room.

"The witch started it" he tells her.

"You tried to feed on Elena" I snap.

"Enough" the woman says. "Trevor go do something useful" she tells him. And he leaves the room. She looks at Elena. "Oh my god, you look just like her" she states.

"But I'm not. Please, whatever you..." Elena pleads.

"Be quiet" the woman tells her.

"But I'm not Katherine. My name is Elena Gilbert; you don't have to do this" Elena tells her as she approaches her.

"I know who you are, I said be quiet" the woman tells her. "Who are you?" she asks me.

"I'm not telling you a thing" I tell her.

"What do you want?" Elena asks her. Rose slaps her hard. Elena falls on the couch, unconscious.

"I want you to be quiet" she sneers.

"Touch her again and I'll burn this place to the ground" I tell her.

"I'm not scared of a teenage witch" she tells me.

"Then you are very stupid" I tell her giving her a brain aneurysm. She holds her head groaning in pain. "I don't care how old you are, harm Elena again. And I'll kill you and the other vampire" I state releasing her. I check on Elena as the she left the room.

I wake Elena up and signal her that it's time to go. She nods her head and I signal her to be quiet. I lead her to a hall way and we hear Trevor speaking to the woman. "So, you called him?" Trevor asks the woman.

"No, I called one of his contacts. You know how this works" she tells him.

"Did you or did you not get the message to Elijah?" he asks her. I'm pulled into a vision of a guy with brown hair and brown eyes. He looked like he was in his early or mid twenties. I'm pulled back to the present by Elena stepping on a floor board.

"You! There's nothing around here for miles. If you think you're getting out of this house, you're tragically wrong. Understand?" the woman asks us.

"Who's Elijah?" we ask her.

"He's your worse nightmare" she tells us.

"I'm not scared of a vampire" I tell her.

"You should be scared of him" she tells me before leaving.

"What now?" Elena asks me.

"I'll think of something, but we have to find out who this Elijah is" I tell her. She nods her head in agreement. We go in search of the girl and find her in another room. Boarding up windows.

"Why am I here?" Elena asks her.

"You keep asking me these questions like I'm gonna answer them" she says.

"Why won't you?" Elena asks her.

"That's another one" she says.

"I know I'm here by accident, no way your dumb enough to kidnap a witch. Trevor maybe, but not you" I tell her.

"You got me, okay? It's not like I can go anywhere. Even with Estel. The least you can do is tell me what you want with me" Elena tells her.

"I personally want nothing; I'm just a delivery service" she states.

"To this Elijah guy?" I ask and she nods her head.

"Who is he? Is he a vampire like Estel thinks?" Elena asks her.

"He's one of the vampires, the originals" she tells us. I get a flash of six people and hold my head. "What's with you?" se asks me.

"I get visions occasionally, nothing important" I tell her.

"What do you mean the originals?" Elena asks her.

"Again with the questions. Haven't the Salvatores been teaching you your vampire history?" she asks us.

"So you know Stefan and Damon?" we ask her.

"I know of them. A hundred years back, a friend of mine tried to set me up with Stefan. She said he was one of the good ones. I'm more of a sucker for the bad boys though" she tells us.

"Aren't we all?" I ask her as I lean against the wall.

"Who are the originals?" Elena asks her.

"Trevor and I have been running for 500 years. We're tired, we want it over. We're using you to negotiate ourselves out of an old mess" she states avoiding the question.

"But why me?" Elena asks.

"You are the Petrova doppelganger" I tell her.

"Exactly. You're the key to breaking the curse" the woman tells Elena.

"The curse? The sun and the moon curse?" Elena asks her.

"So you do know your history" the woman says.

"What do you mean she's the key? The moonstone is what breaks the curse right?" I ask her.

"A witch who doesn't know about the curse" she says smugly. "The moonstone is what binds the curse. The sacrifice is what breaks it" she tells me.

"And since Elena is the doppelganger, she's the one that needs to be sacrificed" I state. "Sucks to be you Elena" I tell her.

"Not helping Estel" she tells me as Trevor appears. "Tell me more" she tells the woman.

"Captivity has made her pushy, eh? What do you want to know doppelicious?" Trevor asks her.

"Who are you running form?" she asks him.

"The originals" he states.

"Yeah, she said that. What does that mean?" Elena asks him.

"The first family, the old world. Rose and I pissed them off" he states and Rose gives him a look. At least I finally know her name. "Correction, I pissed them off, Rose had my back and for over half a millennium, they wanted us dead" he explains.

"Let me guess, you made the same mistake as the Salvatores. You trusted Katherine Pierce?" I ask.

"The one and only, the first Petrova Doppelgänger" Rose mutters.

"I helped her escape her fate and now I've, sorry, we've been marked ever since" Trevor states.

"Which is why we're not gonna make the same mistake again" Rose states.

'You cannot let an original have Elena, kill her' a voice tells me. I shake it away. I won't kill Elena, she's one of my sisters best friends. Elena and I go back to the room we woke up in. She finds a note from Bonnie and shows it to me. I burn it.

(Time skip)

Elena is pacing back and forth in front of me, while I sit on the couch. Going through spells that might help against an original. Trevor enters the room looking scared. "He's here! This was a mistake" he tells Rose.

"No, I told you I would get us out of this. You have to trust me" she tells him.

"No! He wants me dead, Rose!" he exclaims looking frantic.

"He wants her more" she tells him.

"I can't do this. You give her to him, he'll have mercy on you but I need to get out of here" he tells her.

"Hey! What are we?" she asks him.

"We're family, forever" he says. Someone knocks on the door.

"Stay here with them and don't make a sound" Rose tells Trevor before going to answer the door. Elena stops pacing and I feel someone trying to take me over. But I fight them. I can't let them hurt Elena.

Soon Rose appears with a man in a suit. He was the man from my vision. He rushes over to Elena and smells her neck. "Human. It's impossible. Hello there" he says with a British accent. "We have a long journey head of us. We should be going" he tells her.

"That won't be happening" I state as I stand up. "I don't care who and what you are. No original will have the doppelganger" I tell him. As I stand beside Elena.

"You look familiar, have we meet before?" he asks me.

"No" I tell him.

"What makes you think you can stop me from taking the doppelganger?" he asks.

"This" I say smiling raising my hand flinging him into a wall. I then point my hand at him and begin to chant. "Phasmatos Tribum, Niha Sue Exilum, Disasustos Vom, Mas Pro Je Ta Sue Te. Levam, Mina Sue Te, Disasustos Vom, Mas Pro Je Ta Sue Te" I chant. His body begins to contort and groans in pain. Before I can continue I feel someone grab my head & my world goes black.

Third Persons POV

Rose drops Estel's body. "Are you ok Elijah?" she asks him.

"Estel" Elena says as tears fill her eyes. How is she going to tell Caroline that her older sister is dead?

"I am fine, she was quiet a powerful witch for one so young" he states as he stands up straight. "Shame she had to die, she could of been useful" he says. "Now I'll let you deal with her body, we have a long journey" he states looking at Elena.

"Please, don't let him take me" Elena pleads. "Take Estel home" she begs.

"One last piece of business and we're done" Elijah tells her. He turns to Trevor.

"I've waited so long for this day, Elijah. I'm truly, very sorry" Trevor tells him.

"Oh no, your apology's not necessary" Elijah tells him.

"Yes, yes it is. You trusted me with Katerina and I failed you" Trevor says.

"Oh yes, you are the guilty one and Rose aided you because she was loyal to you and that now I honor. Where was your loyalty?" Elijah asks him.

"I beg your forgiveness" Trevor begs.

"So granted" Elijah tells him. Trevor smiles but Elijah smacks Trevor's head clean off his body. Rose cries, as Elena looks up shocked.

"You..." Rose snarls going to attack Elijah. Who is cleaning his hand of blood.

"Don't, Rose, now that you are free" he tells her. "Come" he says offering Elena his now cleaned hand.

"No, what about the moonstone?" she asks him.

"What do you know about the moonstone?" he asks her.

"I know that you need it and I know where it is" she tells him.

"Yes?" he asks.

"I can help you get it, but Estel has to be taken back home" Elena tells him.

"Tell me where it is" he tells her.

"It doesn't work like that" she tells him. "You give me your word that Estel will be returned to her family. And I'll tell you where the stone is" she states.

"Are you negotiating with me?" he asks her amused. "What is this vervain doing around your neck?" he demands. He rips is from her neck and compels her into telling him where the moonstone is.

"In the tomb, underneath the church ruins" she says in a monotone.

"What is it doing there?" he asks her.

"It's with Katherine" she says.

"Interesting" he says. They hear breaking glass from upstairs. "What is that?" he asks Rose.

"I don't know" she tells him.

"Who else is in this house?" he demands.

"I don't know" she tells him. He grabs Elena and leads the way to the front door. Stefan and Damon are moving around them with their super speed. Elijah throws Elena in Rose's arms.

"Rose" he says warningly.

"I don't know who it is" she tells him.

"Up here" Stefan says from upstairs. Elijah goes up the stairs with his super speed.

"Down here" Damon says. Elijah receives in stake in his hand. He removes it. Elena and Rose have disappeared. Elena is with Stefan. He tells her to be quiet. Damon is with Rose. He has his hand on her mouth and gestures to be quiet.

"Excuse me. To whom it may concern, you're making a great mistake if you think that you can beat me. You can't. Do you hear that?" Elijah asks them. He breaks a wooden coat rack into a stake. "I repeat, you cannot beat me. So I want the girl, I'm gonna count to three or heads will roll. Do we understand each other?" he asks.

Elena appears at the top of the stairs. "I'll come with you, just please don't my friends, they just wanted to help me out. Please let them take Estel home" she pleads.

He goes up the stairs with his super speed. He has the stake in his hand. "What game are you playing with me?" he asks her. Elena throws the vervain bomb in his face. It explodes. His skin burns but he heals immediately. He goes toward Elena but Stefan arrives and shoots him with the compressed air weapon.

It doesn't hurt him so Stefan throws the weapon and rushes at Elijah and tackles him. They fall down the stairs. Elijah gets up immediately but Stefan stays on the floor. He goes toward Stefan but Damon appears and stakes Elijah. He pushes him against the door. Elijah is dead and is pinned to the door with the stake. Rose sees it and leaves. Damon tries to follow her.

"Just let her go" Elena tells him and he does so. She hugs Stefan mouthing a thank you to Damon. Who mouths you're welcome back. "Estel's dead, we have to take her home" she tells them as tears fill her eyes again.

"It'll be ok Elena" Stefan assures her and Damon went to get Estel. He carries her to the car and places her in the trunk. Before driving them all back to Mystic Falls.
