Estel's POV

I wake up in bed, with my neck sore. I touch it and feel a sticky substance. I remove my hand and see blood on my fingers. I remember last night and look to my right to see a shirtless Damon sleeping. I roll my eyes and go to my vanity. "Good morning" he says from behind me.

"I didn't say you could stay the night after you feed on me" I tell him.

"Well I'm still hungry" he states.

"Fine, make it quick and leave before Caroline sees you" I tell him.

"You know this could of gone a completely different way" he tells me as he moves my hair away from my neck wound. I see his vampire face in the mirror before he latches onto my neck. I groan in pain as he feeds. Soon there's a knock on the door.

"Are you and your one night stand descent?" Care asks from the other end of the door.

"No, why?" I ask her as Damon stops drinking and kisses him neck.

"I'm going to school, you coming?" she asks.

"I'll drive myself today" I tell her.

"Ok, don't forget practice. You promised to supervise even though you quit the team" she reminds me.

"I haven't forgotten Care" I assure her and I hear her leave. I push Damon away and stand up to face him. "What's with the kissing?" I ask him.

"Oh come on, we're both hot. Did you really think I was just gonna use your sister as a blood bag?" he asks me.

"Don't call her that" I tell him hotly.

"You're so cute when your mad" he says wrapping his arms around me. "Come on, I promise you'll love every second" he tells me as he kisses me neck again. I must say his charm is hard to resist and it's not like it means anything. We're similar to friends with benefits and no risk of getting pregnant with him. Why not have sex with him? I give in and kiss him. He takes me to bed and you know what happens.

(Time skip)

Damon is driving me to school. We'd spent the day together having steamy hot sex and him feeding off of me. I had a shower and changed. I put a scarf on as he refused to heal me the bastard. We arrive at the bleachers where the cheerleaders are training along with the football team. I kiss Damon and get out of his car heading over to the cheerleaders.

"I got Damon, hope you don't mind Elena" I say and look at Care. "Sorry I'm late, want me to count?" I ask she nods her head.

"All right, let's start with the double pike herkey hurdler, what do you say?" Care asks.

"And 5, 6, 7, 8. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8" I count.

"Elena, sweetie, why don't you just observe today? Ok?" Care suggests and Elena goes over to the bleachers. "Keep going" she tells me

"Ok. Do it again from the top. And 5, 6, 7, 8. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8" I count. After practice Care tells me on the way home. How she, Bonnie and Elena are having dinner at Elena's house with Stefan. She told me Elena said I was welcome to come. I told her I'd think about it and go to my room.

"So how come you're not on the squad?" Damon asks from his spot on my bed.

"Just because you've been invited in, doesn't mean you can pop up whenever you want" I tell him.

"Yes it does" he tells me and I roll my eyes. "Got plans tonight?" he asks me.

"I was going to study, but I've been invited over to Elena's for dinner with my sister, Bonnie and Stefan" I tell him.

"We should go" he tells me.

"You weren't invited" I tell him.

"Oh come on, it'll be fun and I promise to behave" he tells me.

"I guess we could go for dessert" I mumble as I brush my hair.

"That's the spirit" he says smirking. "I'll collect you later" he says and disappears. Care enters my room.

"So are you coming tonight or not? Elena wants to be your friend again" she tells me.

"I'll be there for dessert, don't tell Elena. I want it to be a surprise" I assure her.

"Great, see you there" she says and leaves. I sigh and look at my wound. I clean it and bandage it. Before putting on a new scarf. Damon soon arrives and drives us to Elena's house making me hold a box. That has dessert in it. We arrive and I ring the door bell. Elena and Caroline answer the door.

"Surprise, Caroline said you were doing dinner, so we brought dessert" I tell her as I enter the house.

"Hope you don't mind" Damon tells her as Stefan appears.

"What are you doing here?" he asks Damon.

"Waiting for Elena to invite me in" Damon tells him smugly.

"Oh, yeah, you can..." Elena starts to say and Stefan cuts her off.

"No, no, no. He can't, uh...he can't stay. Can you, Damon?" Stefan asks him.

"Get in here" Care tells Damon.

"Care, it's not polite to enter a new house without invitation from a resident" I tell her.

"We're just...finishing up" Stefan tells us.

"It's fine. Just come on in" Elena tells Damon and he enters the house.

"You have a beautiful home, Elena" he tells her smiling.

"Thank you" she says and we all go to the living room. We start to talk about how Stefan made the team.

"I cannot believe that Mr. Tanner let you on the team. Tyler must be seething. But good for you. Go for it" I tell him smiling.

"That's what I always tell him. You have to engage. You can't just sit there and wait for life to come to you. You have to go get it" Damon says as he wraps an arm around my waist.

"Yeah, Elena wasn't so lucky today. It's only because you missed summer camp. God, I don't know how you're ever going to learn the routines" Care says.

"I'll work with her" Bonnie tells her.

"So will I, she'll get it" I assure Care.

"I guess we can put her in the back" Care says.

"You know, you don't seem like the cheerleader type, Elena" Damon says.

"Oh, it's just 'cause her parents died. Yeah, I mean, she's just totally going through a blah phase. She used to be way more fun" Care tells him.

"Caroline!" I scold giving her a pointed look.

"And I say that with complete sensitivity" she adds lamely.

"I'm sorry, Elena. I know what it's like to lose both your parents. In fact, Stefan and I have watched almost every single person we've ever cared about die" Damon tells her. Yeah, you out lived them.

"We don't need to get into that right now, Damon" Stefan tells him.

"Oh, you know what, you're right, Stef. I'm sorry. The last thing I wanted to do was bring her up" Damon says. Soon Elena goes to do the dishes and Damon takes her a cup she'd missed. While Bonnie is in the loo.

"Matt tries, but he's just having a really hard time. You have to understand that they were each other's first. You know, like, from the sandbox" Care tells Stefan. But he seems more focused on my scarf.

"That's a really nice scarf" he tells me.

"Thanks, it's new" I tell him.

"Yeah I got it for her and looks great with that outfit" Care tells me smiling.

"Can I see it? I mean, would you mind taking it off?" Stefan asks me.

"Sorry, can't do that" I tell him.

"She's right or her outfit would be ruined" Care tells him.

"What are you three kids talking about?" Damon asks as he sits back down beside me.

"They were complimenting the scarf Care got for me" I tell him smiling.

"Hmm. Hey, you know, um, Elena and Bonnie are finishing up the dishes. Why don't you go see if you can help?" Damon tells Caroline and I.

"Does it look like I do dishes?" Care asks him.

"Come on Caroline, you can at least put them away" I tell her.

"Fine" she groans and we go into the kitchen. "So are you and Damon a thing?" she asks me.

"No, more like a fling" I tell her.

"But you spent all day with him. What happened to keeping up your grades?" Bonnie asks me.

"It was one day guys, hardly a cause for alarm" I tell them. "Besides he's great in the sack" I add smirking. Bonnie and Elena give me disgusted uncomfortable looks. "Excited for the game tomorrow night?" I ask them and they nod their heads.

(Next night)

It's time for the football game and Elena quit the team. While Bonnie and Caroline were with the other cheerleaders in their uniforms. I watch as Mr Tannner gives his pep talk. Until Tyler and Jeremy start to fight. Luckily Stefan broke it up. "Is that new?" I ask Elena looking at her necklace. I feel connected to it some how.

"Yeah, Stefan gave it to me. Gorgeous isn't it?" she asks me. "It has a herb in it that smells like roses" she tells me. Vervain, he must not want her being compelled. At least she has the nice brother. While I get stuck with the psychopath as I try to protect my sister.

(Time skip)

Tanner was killed by a vampire and man was I pissed at Damon. I banned him from my house for tonight. I had to look after my sister and make sure she is not scared of what happened tonight. Damon was fine with it. I just pray he doesn't hurt another innocent tonight. Otherwise I'll be forced to out him or kill him. Which is a shame and as he is an amazing fuck. But there are more important things then sex.
