Estel's POV

I gasp as I sit up on a bed. "Easy, you're ok Estel" Caroline tells me.

"What happened?" I ask her confused.

"What's your last thing you remember?" she asks me.

"Elena and I were kidnapped, there was this guy in a suit. He wanted to take Elena. I was using a spell on him and someone grabbed my head" I tell her. "Did they snap my neck?" I ask her.

"Yes, you're in transition" she tells me sadly.

"Luckily I had your blood in my system" I tell her. "Do you have blood for me?" I ask her. She hands me a blood bag.

"This is weird right? It's weird" she says.

"Yeah, who would of thought we'd end up here" I say with a small smile. "Do the others know?" I ask her as I open the blood bag.

"No, I thought we could surprise them" she states. "Though I told Bonnie and she made you this" she adds handing me a ring box. I open it to see a gold daylight ring. I smile and take a sip of the blood.

"God I thought it'd taste better" I tell her.

"It will once transition is complete" she assures me. "It's my favourite blood type, B+" she tells me.

"That's fitting" I say and finish the blood bag. I feel my fangs grow and face change.

"Deep breaths" she tells me. I do so as she disposes of the blood bag. I feel my face return to normal. I put the ring on. I go to the window and place my hand in the sunlight. It doesn't burn.

"I'm gonna go to the boarding house" I tell her.

"Are you sure? You just woke up" she states.

"I'll be fine" I assure her. "I'll see you later at the Grill" I tell her before leaving. I run to the Salvatore boarding house. It was fun. I decide to have some fun. I zoom around the house.

"Who else is here?" I hear Rose say. Oh she's dead.

"No one" Damon says.

"Stay close to me Elena" Stefan says. I zoom into the living room behind Rose and snap her neck. They other three look at me shocked.

"I'm back" I say smiling.

"But you died, Rose snapped your neck" Elena states.

"Which is why I snapped her's, pay back" I state.

"You're a vampire" Damon says.

"How?" Stefan asks.

"I've been drinking Caorline's blood daily. Our life is dangerous and I didn't want to leave my family. I knew there was a risk of dying and convinced Caroline to let me drink her blood" I tell them. "I just completed transition" I state shrugging. "Now why is the neck snapper/kidnapper here?" I ask them.

"She was warning us about a guy called Klaus" Elena states. I get a flash of a guy with dark blonde hair and dark blue green eyes. I shake the image away.

"What happened with Elijah and Trevor?" I ask.

"Elijah killed Trevor" she states.

"And I killed Elijah" Damon says smugly.

"Then no one else should know Elena exists, problem solved" I state. "Now I'm going to go see Bonnie and thank her for the ring" I tell them. "See you all later" I say and run out of the house. I go to the high school and see Bonnie with Jeremy. "Hey guys" I say.

"Estel, you're ok" Bonnie says.

"Yep, but looks like your the main witch now" I tell her.

"I'm ok with that" she assures me.

"Thanks for the ring" I tell her.

"It's the less I could do after everything you've done for me" she tells me. "But remember I can undo the spell if I think you're a threat" she states.

"I know" I tell her. "Anyway I'm skipping school to speed the day getting used to my new body" I tell them. "Have fun" I tell them before leaving. I go into the woods and test my strength. I go to the falls and go for a swim seeing how long I could stay under water. When I returned to the shore I saw a message from Caroline. Asking me to meet her and Stefan at the grill.

I went home and changed into dry clothes. Before going to the grill. I find her and Stefan at a table. "Why are you all wet?" Caroline asks me as I join them.

"Went for a swim at the falls" I tell her shrugging.

"Shouldn't you be focusing on studying for your finals?" she asks me.

"It's my first day as an immortal, give me a break sis" I tell her.

"How are you coping?" Stefan asks me.

"Well, no cravings. Though I feel very happy and free. Due to my heightened emotions" I state.

"That's good, let me know if you need help" he tells me.

"Sure, so what were you two talking about?" I ask as I look at the menu.

"Tyler, I told him I was a vampire. Don't worry he doesn't know about any of you and I kept questions to a minimum" she states. "Are you mad?" she asks Stefan.

"Yes Caroline. As a matter of fact, I am a little mad. I mean, you put yourself a risk. If Damon finds out" Stefan says.

"But you're not gonna tell him, are you?" she asks him.

"No, of course not. He would kill you" he states.

"Not if I kill him first, no one threatens my family" I tell him.

"Always looking out for me" Caroline says smiling at us.

"Yeah. Well, you don't exactly make it very easy on us" Stefan tells her.

"Then why do you do it? Estel I get, she's my older sister" Care states. "Why are you such a good friend to me?" she asks him.

"I don't know. I guess you...you remind me of someone. My best friend, Lexi" he tells her.

"I...you have a friend?" Caroline asks him surprised. As I start to feel guilty. Lexi must of been the vampire Damon killed on Stefan's birthday.

"You say that with such a discouraging amount of surprise, Caroline" he says.

"No I just...sorry. I just...tell me about her" she tells him.

"I will, some other time. I got to go" he tells her.

"Wait Stefan, I'm sorry about Lexi" I tell him. "I pointed her out, if it weren't for me. She might still be alive" I tell him. He looks at me surprised and sighs.

"I don't blame you Estel, you were doing it to protect Caroline" he states. "It was Damon who killed her" he states.

"I still feel guilty" I tell him.

"Well you don't have to, it's in the past" he tells me. "Anyway if that's all I gotta go" he tells us. He gets up to leave.

"Wait! No! What do we do about Tyler? I don't want Damon to kill him 'cause there's a full moon coming up and Tyler is totally freaking out about it" Caroline tells him. I notice Bonnie sitting with two men and frown in confusion.

"I'll leave you guys to it, I'm gonna go see Bonnie" I tell them. They nod and I go over to Bonnie. Even though I'm no longer a witch, I since magic coming off of the two men. They must be warlocks.

"Do you have any family from Salem?" the man asks Bonnie.

"Actually I do" Bonnie tells him smiling.

"What do you know? Small world, right?" he asks her with a smile.

"Bonnie" I say.

"Hey Estel" she says with a smile. I notice the two warlock share a surprised look. "Did you enjoy your day off school?" she asks me.

"It was great, went for a swim" I tell her. "I think us girls should have a girls night" I state.

"Totally" she agrees. "I'll talk to Elena about it" she tells me.

"Great I'll talk to Caroline" I tell her. I notice Jeremy arrive. "Jeremy's here, how about a pool tournament?" I ask her.

"Sure" she says smiling. "It was nice to meet you, Doctor Martin" she tells the man.

"I'll see you at school" the teenage boy tells her. She touches his shoulder and I see her sense his magic. She says goodbye and we go over to Jeremy.

"Hey Jeremy, we're having a pool tournament" I tell him.

"Ok, but no cheating" he tells me.

"I'd never cheat" I tell him smiling innocently and he rolls his eyes. We go over to the pool table and he sets up. "You and Bonnie can play first" I tell him.

(Martin apartment) Third Persons POV

"I have news Elijah" Jonas states as he enters the apartment.

"What news?" Elijah asks.

"That witch you mentioned, she's alive" Jonas tells him.

"Impossible, I saw Rose-marie snap her neck" Elijah tells him.

"She must of had vampire blood in her system. She's at the grill with the Bennett witch and doppelganger's adoptive brother" Jones explains.

"Interesting" Elijah says. "Thank you for the information" he says. "I'm going out, I'll be back later" he states and leaves.

(Mystic Grill) Estel's POV

"You're terrible Bonnie" I chuckle as she hit the side of the cue ball. Making it barely roll.

"I told Jeremy that" she grumbles.

"Well, feel free to cheat if you need your dignity back" he tells her.

"So she's allowed to cheat, but I'm not?" I ask him.

"That's because you cheat in games all the time" he tells me.

"Do not" I tell him.

"Come on, hit the ball" Bonnie tells him as the teenage warlock appears.

"Alright, I got a winner guys" he tells us.

"Sorry, but I already called the winner. You can play after" I tell him.

"Get ready Estel, this slaughter is almost over" Jeremy tells me as he pockets another ball. I notice Stefan and Caroline's conversation getting heated. And listen in.

"I can't tell you" Care tells Stefan.

"You can't tell me? Are you kidding me?" Stefan demands.

"I'm sorry but I...I can't tell you" she tells him.

"Caroline! Elena was kidnapped with your sister. she could have been killed like Estel and you're seriously not gonna tell me where she is?" Stefan asks her.

"She's not in any danger. I would not have let her put herself in danger" Care tells him.

"Put herself in danger where? What do you...? She's with Damon, isn't she?" he asks her.

"Ew, no!" Care tells him.

"Then where...where is she? Listen, if you're my friend like you've been pretending to be all day, then you'll tell me where she is" he tells her.

"Stefan, I am your friend. But I'm also Elena's friend and I'm sorry but I'm not going to tell you where she is" she tells him. He looks at her and leaves. I look back at the others.

"Sorry guys, my sister needs me" I tell them. "We'll play some other time Jeremy" I tell him.

"Sure thing" he says.

"Caroline ok?" Bonnie asks me concerned.

"I'm sure she will be" I tell her and leave. I go over to Caroline. "So what were you keeping from Stefan?" I ask her and she looks at me. "Don't lie" I tell her.

"Elena went to see Katherine for information on Klaus" she states.

"Honestly no one outside of Mystic Falls knows she exists. She should drop it" I state. "Lets go home" I tell her and she agrees. She drives us home.

(Time skip, Martin apartment) Third Persons POV

"Dad, I have news about Estel" Lucas states.

"What is it son? I'm trying to find out what sort of witch she was" Jonas tells him.

"She's a Forbes" Lucas tells him.

"But the Forbes have no magical ancestry" Jonas states. "She must be adopted" he states.

"According to Bonnie, she wasn't adopted. Her grams did research on her family blood line and there is no magic in it. Estel is the first witch in her family" Lucas tells her.

"That makes no sense, magic is heredity. She has to have a magical ancestor" Jonas tells him. "I'll keep searching, you should get to bed. You have school in the morning" he tells Lucas. Who nods his head before going to his room. Jonas gets back to his research.
