Estel's POV

It's been four days since we ruined Esther's plan A and she has yet to make a reappearance. But I am sure she will. No doubt she is waiting for the next full moon. So that she can draw on it for power. Especially as she has been trying to take away mine again. So I've had to be focused on keeping her from doing it. Which means I can't afford to lose focus to do the unlinking spell.

Luckily Klaus has Kol watching Jeremy. Who Bonnie has a huge crush on. His hybrids got Bonnie and he finally managed to track down Finn. Rebekah meanwhile was able to find the white oak and burned it to the ground. While Damon Salvatore watched.

"They're back" I tell Sage. She is Finn's old girlfriend. We leave the room we were in and head for the foyer.

"Oh, I most likely could, but why force when I can persuade?" Klaus asks Finn. Who notices Sage and I on the staircase.

"Hello Finn" she says with a smile.

"Sage" he says shocked she's still alive. Finn gets up and rushes over to her. They embrace.

"What do you know, true love prevails" Rebekah says. As Klaus got a text. No doubt from Kol.

"It does occasionally have its uses" he tells her. As he replies to the text. "Easier than torturing him" he states.

"I have something to do. What do you need from me for this spell?" Rebekah asks.

"Just your blood and your blessing. Where are you going?" Klaus asks her.

"I have some unfinished business with Damon Salvatore. Ask Sage what he did to me. Then you'll understand why retribution is in order" she tells him. I approach her with a knife and glass phial. She allows me to collect her blood.

"Enjoy torturing Damon" I tell her. She smiles and leaves. I go over to Finn and Sage. "Finn, I made your family a promise" I state as he looks at me. "I intend to keep it, now you can die alone or live and have the life you dreamed of with Sage" I tell him.

"But my mother..." he tries to say.

"I'll deal with her, you need no longer be afraid" I tell him. "I promised to protect this family and your mother wants to destroy it. I promised none of you would ever be alone again. Let me protect your family" I say.

"Do it Finn" Sage says. "We can finally have our forever" she states. He looks between us and nods. He willingly gives me his blood. Before leaving with Sage. I hand the phials to Klaus.

"You know what to do with these" I state. "I am on my way to see my sister" I tell him. He nods his head and I leave.

"Estel!" she cheers and hugs me when I get home. "I'm about to meet Elena and Matt at the grill, care to join us?" she asks.

"I thought we could spend some sister time together. I've missed you" I tell her.

"I've missed you too" she states. "Estel, why do you protect them?" she asks.

"To protect you" I state.

"Have they threatened me?" she asks.

"No" I tell her.

"Then why do I need protecting?" she asks me confused.

"Do you remember all the myths we heard about vampires and werewolves?" I ask her. "Some are true. Like werewolves only changing no a full moon. Vampires burning in the sun" I explain.

"Yes, but some are wrong like the thing about silver and werewolves" she states.

"But there is one myth I do not want to test" I tell her.

"What myth?" she asks me.

"Do you remember the old Dracula stories? Where if you killed Dracula, all vampires were killed also?" I ask her.

"Yeah, so?" she asks.

"Have you ever thought what would happen if an original died? They've been alive for a thousand years. What if you killed one and everyone they turn, and who they turned and so on died?" I ask her. "What if killing the originals lead to all of us dying?" I ask her.

"You really think that could happen?" she asks me.

"I don't know, but I am not willing to test that theory. Are you?" I ask and she avoids my eyes. "Caroline, we are all mum has left. Don't take us away from her" I tell her. "Think about what I said" I add.

"What if you're wrong? What if they die and we live?" she asks me.

"Then I'd thank whatever god exists for letting us live. But again I am not willing to risk your life or mine to test that myth. Have fun with Matt and Elena" I tell her. As I get into my car, I get a text from Klaus Bonnie agreed to do the spell. I drive back to the house.

"See you caught Damon" I state. "Having fun?" I ask Rebekah.

"I'd have more fun if Klaus didn't try to micromanage my torture methods" she states. "Is the witch doing the spell?" she asks.

"Yep, you'll be unlinked soon" I state. "Why not try playing mind games?" I suggest. She smiles and focuses on Damon as I leave the room. "Shouldn't you be chanting?" I ask Bonnie.

"I'm still studying the spell" she states. "Why are you doing this? Hell why don't you do the spell?" she asks me.

"To protect Caroline and because Esther keeps trying to take my magic away. I can't afford to lose them while trying to unlink the originals" I state. Just then we hear Damon yell in pain.

"What was that?" she asks us.

"Birds singing" I say shrugging.

"I wouldn't let it bother you, love" Klaus tells her.

"Well, it does bother me. You bother me. Well, you use people to get what you want, it's not right" she states. I go over to the case that holds Kol, Finn, Rebekah and Elijah's blood.

"You're being emotional, Bonnie. I understand that things have been rough for you. You know, with your mother leaving. Again. It's very sad. I can help you find her, if you want. I have people who can find people who can bring her back to you. Or, if you choose I can just bring parts of her back. Isn't it obvious that I'm just gonna continue to hurt the people you love until you do the spell? Now, I know it's in the grimoire and I know it requires the blood of my siblings, so here we are" Klaus says as I open the case.

"Elijah. Rebekah. Kol. Finn" I say pointing to each in turn. Klaus bites his hand and holds his bloody hand clenched in a fist and looks at Bonnie. Blood drips from his fist.

"Where do you want this?" he asks her. Bonnie looks away and grabs a glass, holding it under Klaus' hand so his blood can drip into it We pour the others into it and she pours it onto the table and begins to chant the spell.

The blood starts to disperse into five different circles as Bonnie continues the spell. The flames flare up as Bonnie continues the spell. The large pool of blood has become five separate pools of blood that are moving away from each other. Bonnie has completed the spell. The pools of blood are completely separated.

"She did it, you are all unlinked" I state. "Thank you Bonnie, Klaus escort her out. I shall clean up the mess" I tell him. He nods and leaves with Bonnie. I clean up the mess putting out the candles. 'Good luck killing them now Esther' I think to her and I hear her scream of frustration in my head.

I decide to go home, maybe Caroline and I can have a sleepover in her room. I've missed my sister. I pack my things and leave. Going home. Caroline comes home looking roughed up and scared. "What happened?" I ask her.

"They killed Finn and you were right. Everyone from his blood line died, if Bonnie hadn't unlinked the originals, we'd all be dead" she cries. I hug her tight.

"It's ok, it's over now. Everything will be ok" I assure her. "Let me guess, they still want Klaus dead" I say.

"Yes, there's a one in four chance he sired our blood line. But we know one person he turned" she states.

"Tyler and I bet they don't care if he dies" I state and she nods her head. I sigh. "Where did they get the white oak?" I ask her.

"The new Wickery bridge sign was made of it. It made twelve stakes, Stefan is handing the majority to Klaus in exchange for Damon" she states.

"Well we can't worry about this now" I tell her. "How about a sister sleepover? We could both use the distraction" I state and she agrees. It was a peaceful night for us. We turned off our phones, so that we wouldn't be disturbed. But we'd both have to return to reality tomorrow.
