Eighteen years ago our city went through a war known as

l'été des balles  "the Summer of Bullets."

There have been many theories on what led to that violent summer.

The truth is  l'été des balles started because of the death of a young man

A young man whose family lived a life of Crew Culture

The young man's father was a Commander known for being uncompromising and leading a ruthless crew.

The Commander had a public dispute with someone who didn't belong to a crew or follow the code, an Independent. 

The Independent felt disrespected and humiliated and in retaliation placed a hit on the Commanders only son.

In retaliation for the death of his son, The Commander ordered the execution of the Independent and all his known associates .

With that order lives where changed and destiny's delayed .

That is how The Summer of Bullets began

And our lives changed.
