Looking back at his pursuer, it seemed like Ned might actually have a chance of escaping without getting caught. But coming to a stop at an intersection in the hallways, he found that he could go right and enter the armory, which held more than enough weapons to defeat the enemy, or instead go left, which lead to the surface, making for a good escape. He had to make a decision. Fight or flight?
