A Horse as a Pet

Having a horse as a pet can be very beneficial to a person's life. For someone with no housemates, a horse is very personable, given that it is raised with discipline and kindness. One can talk to a horse, but most likely it won't make any real reaction of understanding. In other ways, a horse is like a best friend with the exception that they don't talk, act, or live like a human. The owner must keep tabs on his horse's health, feed it the correct foods, and watch for any abnormal behavior. It is always best to be close to one's pet, noting what is and isn't usual, regularly checking its living area for hazards, and allowing recreational time in an open space. Overall, a horse is a good choice for a pet because they are a good reason to get out during the day and a distraction from one's everyday worries.
