4-H is an organization spanning most of the world and originating in the United States. Its purpose is to help children in becoming skillful in activities ranging from gardening and housework to baking and sewing. Events are held annually in each branch. Most of the events occur in the members' district. Each major county has its own group with happenings such as fairs, communication days, and camps. All of these sites, some contests in presentations or crafts. Camps help test youths in their strategic thinking, climbing to considerable heights, and firing rifles and bows. Following these experiences, children return home, having learned something useful to them throughout their lives. People of all ages learn lessons from participating in 4-H.
Above all, this group helps everyone realize that there is more to every day than video games, phones, and books.
