Part 2 of 2

PREVIOUSLY, on Escape the Night, the guests all meet the Evil Queen and get split up into groups to search for the Queen's apples.

"Okay everyone, I guess it's time to vote" Jasper mumbles as they all head back to the garden. When they walked into the entrance of the garden there were now containers for each rose they earned. So far they had two out of eight roses contained.

Cyrus ~ I'll never look at fairytale's the same way I did after this is all over.

Angel set up the cards at the table for the guests. "We'll start with April voting first" April got up hesitantly and picks a card after a bit of observing them. "Maddison" Maddison went up to vote next, and soon everyone got done voting.

"The first person going into the challenge is, Toxia" Angel lifts up the card to reveal Toxia's tarot card. "The second person going into the challenge is, Violam" She also lifts up the card to show Violam's tarot card.

Toxia ~ why is it always Violam and I?!

Violam and Toxia look at each other with shocked faces.

"If you would follow me", Jasper says as he walks ahead, Angel waits for Violam and Toxia to follow Jasper before falling into line behind them. They walk for a bit before walking back to the same clearing The Evil Queen was waiting for them from before. There were a few added items to the clearing like two barrels, two cauldrons, a medium pillar with a luxurious cushion. There was also one thing that frightened Violam and Toxia, something that was clearly related to Snow White after she got poisoned with the apple. "You're back, good. I was about to walk over there and pick two people by force, you took too long".

"Well you aren't the one getting sent to their death", Violam says under his breath.

"Now, before we get started." The Queen turns around and walks over to something that has a dirty cloth hanging on it. She yanks off the cloth to reveal a huge mirror.

"I know where this is going", Toxia wrote on her board and rolled her eyes.

"Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?". The mirror started to circle a bit before slowly shifting into someone, though the group of four couldn't see because The Queen hastily put the cloth over the mirror to hide the result.

Violam ~ well it obviously wasn't her

"Now, for your challenge, you have to gather 3 apples each from this barrel, only with your mouth. Then, you'll have to add the correct ingredients to the cauldron to make the poison. Then you'll dunk the apple in the poison and put it on this velvet cushion.", The Queen patted the cushion, "But, what happens to the poor soul that loses?" The Queen stepped away from where she was standing to reveal the one thing Violam and Toxia were worried to see in the middle of the clearing. There was the glass coffin Snow White laid in. "That will be for the loser to figure out.", The Queen had a sadistic smile. "although I'm sure Jasper knows with everything that happened to his mom" The Queen spat, looking at Jasper with venom. Angel rolled her eyes, and gently tugged the two guests towards their respective starting places.

Toxia ~ -writes on her board- well that totally doesn't make me nervous way more than I already am...

"start! and hurry up while you're at it." The Evil Queen yelled, and the two started the challenge not noticing a new person who came out of the woods behind them. The figure stood by the Queen.

Violam and Toxia went over to their own barrels of apples. Violam hesitantly dunked his head in the barrel, while Toxia did quickly. Violam was struggling to get an apple, "Hey, are you having trouble trying to get an apple?" He hollered over to Toxia who nodded.

Violam ~ she probably rigged this thing and made them too large for the average human being to collect.

Toxia looked over at the Queen who was too busy talking with this random man who she had never seen before. Toxia took this as an opportunity to shove her hands in the barrel and take out 3 apples, and ran over to her cauldron.

Violam ~ so tell me why I just saw Toxia use her hands to get apples when we're not supposed to?? oh well

Violam also took advantage of the moment and grabbed 3 apples as well. He ran over to his cauldron and got started.

Toxia ~ -on the board- so on the potion book The Evil Queen provided us with, there were three poison recipes. Great.

Toxia kept flipping the pages to get a good look at all the poison recipes. Violam quickly caught on to what Toxia was confused on. "How are we supposed to know which one is the correct one?" Violam asked The Evil Queen. "You'll know when you see it. Now get back to work!".

Toxia decided to turn to Angel and Jasper to see if they could help them, only to see them whispering to each other. Toxia turned back to the potion recipe book to see if she could tell any difference.

Toxia ~ -on her board- it took me forever! But I finally saw the difference, on the third recipe, in small print on the bottom left corner was, "Dearest Snow White"

Toxia quickly began to work on the third poison, making sure to not make any mistakes.

"Oh! it's the third recipe!" Violam whispered to himself, looking over towards Toxia seeing that she was already pouring in all her ingrediants. Violam quickly got to work on the potion. Violam and Toxia were both stirring the poison now.

Violam ~ This was the point I got nervous because I saw that we were both getting ready to dunk the apples in the poison.

Toxia ~ -on her board- Y'know, while putting the apples in the poison, I realized that we we're basically assisting The Evil Queen with killing some innocent person by helping her make these.

Toxia and Violam both got down dunking all 3 apples at the same time and ran to put them on the cushion, but Violam got there first.

"I'm sorry, Toxia" Violam said, looking at Toxia with geniune sadness.

"You're our winner!", The Evil Queen says looking at Violam before turning her attention to Toxia, "And you're our loser."

Toxia ~ -on her board- gee, thanks for rubbing it in.

The man looks at the Evil Queen, who nods for approval. The man walks towards Toxia and grabs her. "Wait! Where are you taking her?" Violam asks worried and confused.

"Just you wait" The man spoke out, dragging Toxia towards the glass case.

Toxia ~ -on her board- I'm not dying in that glass case!

The Evil Queen walked over towards the glass case and helped the man forcefully lay Toxia down.

Violam looked over to Angel and Jasper, "Can't we do something?".

"No, we can't, something bad will happen if we try to cheat anymore of you out of death", said Jasper. "I wouldn't be surprised if something bad happens soon", Angel added on to Jaspers statement.

"You will take the place of what was supposed to happen to Snow White" The Evil Queen exclaimed. Toxia's eyes widened as the Man raised his knife. He plunged the knife into Toxia's chest and slashed it open, deep enought to reach her heart. Violam covered his ears and looked away to avoid hearing Toxia's screams of pain. The Evil Queen took the heart from Toxia's chest, the man dropped the knife next to Toxia in the coffin and turned around to grab the wooden box that existed to hold Snow White's heart. The Evil Queen gently placed Toxia's heart in the wooden box and closed it.

The Evil Queen turned to Violam with a rose they needed to get out. "Here is your reward for helping me with the apples.", The Evil Queen held out the rose for Violam to take, he grimaced at the blood splatters that littered her hand. He took the rose and ran over to Angel and Jasper who quickly lead the surviving guest away from the Evil Queen.

The guest at the Garden all looked up at the sound of footsteps, Jasper and Angel walked in first. Then after them, Violam. The guest all got up and walked towards them. "What happened?", Zeke asked Violam. "They cut her heart out of her chest, just like The Queen wanted the huntsman to do to Snow White", said Violam. The guest all winced and went back to being quiet.

Violam walked over to the glass cases and put the third rose in its own case next to the other two roses.
