A/N: Y'know I decided to update today cause it's Friday and donut day.

Ben POV:

It's been over 5 days since her disappearance and I still can't find her.

I walk into Jakku Blues for a lead.

"Two shots please" I sit at the bar and it doesn't take long for someone to come up.

"Well, Well, well, if it isn't the famous Ben Solo" Bala-Tik

"If it isn't the Guavian Death Gang."

He slides me a note as my shots come. "From a fair lady of yours." "Where'd you get this?"

"Well let's just say she has can be persuasive" he says drunk. I grab a hold of his neck, choking him then drop him. "That's just a warning, but you won't remember what happened" he pats my head twice suspiciously.

I grab the note and leave.

Before I drive off, I read the note that was given to me.

Dear Ben,

Wow, that was a stupid way to start a letter. 

Anyways, I wanted you to know nothing is your fault, nor your mother or father. 

What I'm trying to say is, I know you're coming for me.

I'll be at that abandoned too elegant warehouse with that stunning sunset after the alley was overrun by stray cats.

Come alone.

Rey :)

I smile and start driving there.

Rey POV:

I run back to Phasma as she's almost done packing up.

"Hey Phas, I'll get the last of the stuff and then can you drop me off at an abandoned warehouse" I hand her the address and get the rest of the stuff

"Yeah sure, thanks I just need to make a quick call"

As I get the last stuff in the van, I go and get Phasma but I'm instantly curious about what she's saying.

"Trust me, she doesn't even know the plan....yes I have the location on where she's going right in my hands, I'll send you a picture of the address....sure bye ginger"

I quickly walk back to the passenger side of the car and wait for her keeping my poker face. I trusted her with my life.

I lean my hands against the glass of the warehouse like I'm getting searched as the sun goes down.

Where is he?

He had to get the letter.

Maybe I should look for him? No, I have to wait cause if I leave he might get here and not find me here.

I feel the warmth of the sun on the cold dusty glass as memories keep flooding back.

There was a nasty explosion once, when I was ordered to take Benjamin Arnold Skywalker-Organa-Solo out for a scouting mission. My scouting mission.

As we were heading back to the car which was next to a hill, I froze and felt the hairs on my neck stand up. Realizing that what I thought was the old clock, was really a bomb. I remembered what my mentor told me "old clocks do not tick tock"

"GET DOWN!" I yell to Ben before the explosion.

I pushed him out of the way, but he grabbed my arm pulling me down, covering my small figure from the flames and shards of glass.

His body was bigger than he was standing, and more rough like armor.

He held onto me tight, making sure every part of me was covered.

After a few minutes when it was safe, Ben helps me up but I slap his hand away walking towards the drivers seat.

"What the hell is your problem, princess?!" He yells. I turn around and walk towards him "what the hell is my problem?! I'm trying to save your ass! I'm trying to make sure that the precocious Skywalker-Organa-Solo kid is not killed!"

"You didn't need to push me out the way, why would you risk your own life to save me?!"

"Luke specifically told me you were to be protected at all costs in the field."

"Who cares about what my uncle says about what you're supposed to do! I'm not going to let you die because of Me"

"Why do you even care that I die! It's not li--"

"'Maybe because I love you"

"What?"

"I love you!"

"I don't understand"

"I'll show you" he walks up to me grabbing my arms as he leans down and presses our lips together. I didn't know what to do. I just stood there as he started to try and deepen the kiss thinking I would kiss back, but I just stood there...frozen. Shocked. For the first time the water in my eyes that Leia told me to never show, started to form but I never let them go.

I felt something deep down inside me, something like a missing piece of me.

He pulled away and searched my eyes for something.

"We have to get back" I say sternly walking back towards the car.

The drive back was quiet.

Once back at base, I quickly made my way to my quarters. as people kept coming up to me I shooed them away and they took a quick response.

I lock my door, take my jacket and weapons off and place them on my couch leaving me with my grey tank top.

I walk ferociously towards the nearly damaged wall, balling my hands into a fist and punch the wall repeatedly till they bleed.

I fall to my knees "What's wrong with me?"

I walk out of my room and walk towards the medical wing.

Once I get there, Maz already has the bandages out.

"Maz, what's wrong with me?"

"I'm no therapist but you're just emotionally unstable and experiencing emotions you don't understand" she says wrapping my knuckles. "It's......scary an--" I gasp. Scary? "what happened out there?" Max says as she's done wrapping my hands. "Ben saved me" I come back into reality. "And then he put his mouth against mine....it was weird but I felt like something deep inside woke me up" I stare at down at my feet. Feeling the edges of my lips turn up.

I'm snapped back to reality to arms being put around me. "Shhh it's just me" I sigh in relief and lean my head onto his shoulder as he leans ahis face into my neck. "You scared the shit out of me Ben."

"Sorry, sweetheart" he kisses my cheek. I smile and turn around facing him, wrapping my arms around his neck.

I'll explain why Rey didn't kiss back and was confused by it
