In that moment, I feel captivated, rooted to the spot, as he approaches with a sense of purpose and anticipation.

I suddenly snap out of my trance as Kyan gracefully halts in front of me. Feeling a rush of excitement, I gracefully fall into a curtsy. "Y-your majesty." I gracefully maintain the curtsy, keeping my head down, a confident finger lifts my chin up with a gentle touch.

"Rise." His deep and husky voice is incredibly soothing as I straighten myself, feeling a wave of warmth wash over me. Without hesitation, he reaches out his hand, and I instinctively intertwine my fingers with his. Even as our eyes lock, he gracefully lifts my hand to his lips and plants a gentle kiss on top, causing my heart to race with excitement. I can't help but blush, realizing that he might just be able to hear the pounding rhythm of my heartbeat. "I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting you."

His husky voice has become even stronger now, and I am filled with awe as I struggle to respond, completely breathless by the presence of the remarkable man standing before me. "M-my name is Zerro. Your highness." My voice trembles out.

"May I have this dance, Lady Zerro."

"Ah, you must not speak formally with me, your imperial majesty I'm-I'm just a maid." I stumble out as I try to break free from the enchanting hold his eyes seem to have on me. Sparkling like a lush forest bathed in warm sunlight, his eyes beckon me towards a world full of endless possibilities.

He smirks at my words. "Just a maid. You're brave for a maid." His smirk grows, radiating a playful glint in his eyes. "I've never had a maid correct me."

My heart fills with concern as I quickly lower my head, realizing my mistake. "My apologies, your majesty-" I'm pleasantly surprised to feel his hand gently lifting my chin once more.
