Hi, I'm May and I'm unfortunately a princess. Why I hate to be a princess you ask? Being a princess means you are FORCED to marriage, getting respect not because you earn it, because of your title. Get envied by most of the girls, the list goes on and on and on and on.

My family consists of my Father, my Mother, my Brother, and a Sister. I love to play with my siblings Max and Misty.

My mom's name is Caroline who is a very beautiful woman, kind, always by my side, and my best friend. She teases me and tells all of us stories. She is a perfect role model and a perfect Queen.

My Father's name is Norman, he is handsome yet a cruel ruler who beats me and my sister Misty. Since Max was the next ruler, My Father didn't hurt him. Father wasn't cruel with us at all when we were young but when we turn into 10, everything changed. But let's not elaborate on that now.

My brother Max loves to prank me and my sister, loves to go on an adventure, and instead of being a prince wanted to feel like a pirate. We used to play that a lot.

My sister Misty, is a hot-headed girl who loves to carry her mallet with her. She is a good swimmer and has an unnatural love for the water. Why did I say unnatural? Time will tell that. Right now we both were chased by maids to make us wear dresses which we don't want to, cause most of the dresses doesn't catch my eye and Misty hate to wear dress. She is also afraid of bug-type Pokemon.

Now finally me, princess May who hates to be called a princess. I m also hot-headed and a nature lover. I like to make friends, and like to go on an adventure. Maybe if I'm lucky then I could travel the sea.

Both Me and Misty have the ability to understand Pokemon. I have a Blaziken and Beautifly. Misty has Squirtle and Masquerain. We don't know the pokemon of Max cause when he turnt 10, he stopped hanging out with us. Because our father wanted him to rule the kingdom and for that, he has to learn everything.

We girls sneak out into the petalberg city to play with play pokemon. We sometimes practice sword fighting, self-defense, horse riding, healing, swimming, and archery.

Our castle is beautiful though not breathtaking.

Right now we're here in the palace where the meeting is held. The maids were successful in making us wear the dress against our desire. I give in first cause I was tired of retorting to them.

this is my dress, though I hate to wear the hat but again forced to.

Misty face said it all, she feels uncomfortable in dress and I know it though she does look beautiful.

Royal Court
"Princess Maybelle and Princess
Mistfire has arrived in the Royal court" Jack our caretaker announced.

My real name is Maybelle and trust me, I hate my name. Misty name is Mistfire, I like that name but she hates it, Max's name is Maximus, he hates it as well.

We walked to our father and curtise to him.

"My lovely daughters, you look lovely as always." My father said proudly. But according to us, it's fake and we know it because he always tells us that we're ugly. Well looking at the crowd here, I think it's something important.

" Thank you, king" We thanked with a slight curtise.

" We all are here because of our daughters turning 18 this month. And on their birthday, there would be a massive ball and the princess would decide their future husband." He announced. The audience applauded

"WHATT!!!" Misty, Max, My Mom, and I yelled.

Our father glared at us." Yes, I know that you all are happy so contain your excitement. My son and the Future King of Petalberg will finally go to the army and fight with our enemies. Destroy them and make new alliances." King announced proudly.

Everyone cheered and was happy except me and my siblings. I felt sad and I seriously don't want to leave the castle. I closed my eyes so no one could see my tears.

Soon the crowd dismissed, Mother gave sympathetic smile to us, which wasn't helpful. It just made us feel broken and miserable. 

What are we? Toys to be sold? I looked at Misty who had her hair covering her eyes.

Knowing Misty she is ready to kill the king. I put my hand on her shoulder, she turned to me with eyes screaming 'IM NOT GETTING MARRIED'. I nodded at her then glare at the king.

The king's advisor, Clare snickered. I growled at her with my deadly eyes which shut her up.

I could see Mother ready to take the king to a universe to visit. My mom has quite a temper when she feels like it. Which makes us confused and dare not to say anything in front of her.

I shook my head at her and signed ' this is gonna take time.' one of our guards came to mom and whispered to her.

My mom suddenly gasped which made me, Misty, and Max attention to her. She, in sign language, told us to meet at the secret place.

We nodded and left for our room. I was crying silently cause I hate to be married.

We entered our room. That's when I broke up and cried, with Misty soothing me.

Why why why in this damn princess world were we born? I would love to be born in the army rather than here. This is pathetic life. Believe me, you can only marry a prince because of the family status. So pathetic.

Misty, on the other hand, is crying herself. But she didn't let any of her tears fall. She was strong while I was weak... I am such a crybaby... Why am I such a crybaby?

" Oh, May you have to stop it. You're now acting like a crybaby and I don't like it. Promise me..... No crying." Misty said seriously and stretching out her hand

" But M-M-Misty why? Life is a game, right? Well, I think I am giving up. This is not what I wanted to be. This is not how I imagined our life! being married off and our family saying "thank Arceus she's gone" I don't like it j-just give up on me now. It's not like me to have a choice or a chance to not get married." I said crying.

Misty thought for a few seconds.
"May, life is not only a game girl. It's our destiny who we will write, not Arceus, life partners are decided by Arceus. Only if we meet them, we'll fall for them. And giving up wouldn't be helpful at all. You know, we don't have a choice, but we do have a chance. Like difficult stages, you have a monster to defeat. Let this monster be this marriage. Who has lots of power to make us feel low. Make us feel down. We have to kill the monster to win the game. But in real life, win the trust of them." Misty said smiling. I smile and hugged her.

" Mist how in the world you just said like that. And most of all know that" I asked curiously. Misty sweatdropped.

" Just came out of my mouth, don't know what I just said." I laugh at her. This laugh made me feel good.

As for what Misty said, It's a mystery. Because many times she says something awesome but then forgets it. When did I ask how? She said the heart said it to me. Not that I believe it.

" S-stop laughing already." She said in a high pitch. Though that made me laugh more. Misty getting annoyed is somehow funny. Oh, how I love to ann- owww my face!!.

Glaring at the girl in front of me with picking the pillow near me I starting chasing her. No one gets away with throwing a pillow at my face!!

" You little dumb, hot-tempered girl who loves to play video games, oh-know-it all GET BACK HERE!! I yelled.

Seriously how could she run in that dress without tripping!!

Suddenly, we heard the bell. We at each other nodding, time to meet Mother now.

We raced to the secret room and saw Max already present there. He snickered." Looks like you got shocked my ladies" we looked at ourselves.

Due to the running our dress got spoiled (sarcastic. Like we care) and by running our hair is like Dawn's bed Head.

We laughed at each other. Max smiled simply and shook his head. "May, Max, Misty I got to know that princess Dawn is somehow kidnaped." My mom came telling us. "WHAT!!" We all screamed.

Mom glared at us then continue ."Somehow I got to know that one of the staff is responsible. Girls I know this is tough for you. Princess Dawn got to know that she is going to marry prince Barry who is her childhood friend. She didn't have a problem with that but the next night she was not present in her room." She explained

" Mother what do you want us to do?" Max asked.

" Max you will make sure the king doesn't hear even a single word of it ok. May and Misty, I want to talk to you both alone ASAP!!" Mom ordered, Max left the room, and Mother signed in relief.

" You are not going to get Dawn ok. I already send our spies to investigate about this issue." Mom said making our hopes to find Dawn by ourselves lose. " Then why you called us mother," Misty asked.

" Pack your bags girls..... You are not getting married " She replied
