I didn't want Niall's name anywhere in the last two chapters.
But I just had to tell you what happened!

Seven months and twenty-three days. That's how long it took for Hannah Horan to become Hannah Callaghan again.

The arraignment and hearings ran her thin, emotionally and physically. The defendant wasn't cooperating and kept postponing.

Niall pled not guilty.

But he was charged with and convicted of Assault in the Third Degree and Drunken and Disorderly Conduct. It totaled just over one year in jail and over $1,000 in fines. Niall was also served with a Family Court Order of Protection. Because he had a release date.

The night that Niall was taken into custody, he used his one phone call. And Malory didn't answer. She had already moved onto her next married man.

During those eight months, Hannah went to the house one time. And her Harry and best friends all went with her. It was the day of the arraignment, the day after Hannah and Harry said they loved each other for the first time.

Hannah let the guys have anything of Niall's they wanted. Nobody wanted a thing. So she decided to donate his stuff.

They packed up the rest of her things, loaded up the small moving van and cleaned the empty house.

Then, Hannah closed the door and locked away that horrible part of her past. And she had plans to call her realtor the next day. Because the house was in her name.

And the best friends celebrated with a pizza dinner at Daphne and Louis' home.

After a fun time with their best friends, Hannah and Harry bought cupcakes. They took them back to his apartment to celebrate a little more.

And that night, Harry asked Hannah to move in with him. Hannah said yes.

Later that night, Harry asked Hannah to marry him. And Hannah said yes.***

I researched a ton of legal stuff and kept it realistic.
(But I'm sure you guys wanted to hang him like a piñata and have a couple turns!)
