Linda held up the suit.

"This?" She asked, wrinkling her noise. She plucked at the fabric with her fingers.

"It looks a bit much, don't you think?

Charlie shook his head. He took the full body suit from Linda's hands and dunked it in a bucket of cold water. It puffed up a bit, but when he took it out it got thinner. Gracie was testing the suits for leaks in the water, and scowled at Charlie.

"The cloth changes with the temperature." He explained, taking a lighter from his pocket. Holding it up to the flameproof material, Linda watched as the fabric got thinner.

"That is so cool..." She gasped. Alexa, who was helping Sam try on a pair of shoes, nodded in agreement. Turning back to Sam, she fastened a buckle on the shoe.

"This will protect your feet from the Virus. Once it get on your skin... Well, no one knows. Everyone goes unconscious when it happens and usually doesn't wake up to tell us what happened. From what we can tell, though, it will race up you and in you, taking over the outside and inside of your body, causing seizures, fever, and sometimes hair loss."

Sam went visibly pale, and Alexa waved her hand carelessly, as if to dismiss the idea.

"But it's not going to happen! With these shoes, the temperature of your feet should be properly regulated. To much sweating could lead to dehydration."

Both Sam and Linda rolled their eyes. Sometimes it seemed Alexa forget that they remembered basic facts, like 'sweating uses your bodies water and makes you thirsty'.

Hey guys. I know this is an incomplete chapter, but I haven't updated in a while and I wanted to get this out. It's been a while because someone who went to my school that I knew passed away in some sort of tragic accident. I will try to add to this half-chapter soon, but I need a bit of a break. My Truth or Dare book will continue to be updated since it's easier, but this book might be updated slower than usual. Sorry.
