A new school that doesn't have anyone from my clan, yay.

◎◎◎ flashback ◎◎◎

It was my 14000 th birthday and I was so excited!(vampires age supah slow) I had 30 minutes to wait until my party, so, I met up with my friends and we talked and goofed around for a bit.

◎◎◎ time skip cuz meh lazy ◎◎◎

They just finished to sing the happy birthday song and I was about to blow the candles when, instead of just air, (y'know, carbon dioxide) I blew fire! It didn't hit anyone or anything, I'm glad about that, but people started saying things like "She has fire magics!" or "That is impossible!" and the kids were saying things like "Cool!" or "Wish I could do that." but then, the leader of the clan, who was a family friend, said

"A Vampire with magics?! That is impossible! She is not worth of being part of this clan anymore! Valerie, go and pack your things, your going to leave and never come back!" The leader exclaimed, I ran to my room and packed what I had. I ran into a village called Ertaria and hid my fangs, I found a woman that took care of homeless children, I went there and right when I got close to some girls "an year" older than me, they pushed me to the ground, and then said

"What did you think you were doing newbie!? Were you trying to talk to us!?" The girl, who I presumed to be the leader of the little group, yelled at me. That was when something inside of me snapped, my eyes turned from dark brown to an orange-ish red(when she hides her fangs, her eyes change) and my fangs grew. The girl gasped, I got up

"you should learn to not mess with people you don't know." I said in a rather demonic voice. The girls ran away. Good. I thought.

Some more years passed and I was a week from my 15000 Birthday.(she stayed with the woman since she was 14000 years old) The place the woman took care of never was destroyed, just passed by family. I saw the village turn into a city, kids coming and leaving with new families, until this day, exactly one week before my birthday, a couple came and adopted me. The society was more open to mystical beings like me(with powers and/or vampires and werewolves, etc.).

◎◎◎ Flashback end ◎◎◎

"Lighten up a bit, Val." My adoptive mom said.

"I'll try to." I said with a small smile, I actually like my new mom. We were on our way to Ertaria's 'High School for the Gifted'. When we got there, it was huge! Like, huge, HUGE! We got to the entrance of the school. I could see a lot of humans, but there were some others like Demons, Witches, Vampires and... ugh, Werewolves.

"Val, have a good day, and try to make some friends, please." My mom said before kissing my forehead and walking back in the direction of home.

"New year, new life, new beginning..." I mumbled to myself.

Hey pups! This is the first "real" chappy of this story, hope you liked it this far. If you are Wanderen(did a joke right there, if you get it, you get 5 cookies) about my other stories, I'm putting last soul on hold for now and working on memories(I forgot to put this part lol XD).
