Chapter 32

Error/Moxxie speaking/thoughts

"About time." Moxxie grumble as the cotton ball lambs finally went to sleep.

After playing games with them for five hours and played the violin.

Maybe he should .have used the violin first.

Glance at the adults sheep staring. "Could have helped."

"Baaa."

"Baaa."

"Baaa."

"Go eat your stars." Moxxie sighs and gets up. Floats in the air and flies over the sleeping animals. Lands on the ground and stretched. Okay back to work-

Stop when he felt a nudge in the barrier. It felt like certain parts of the stars that were poison. But bigger. Along with something else. Open the codes and trace the area where it coming from. Found it. Type a few codes and use his magic to trap them in the area till he gets there. Glance at the sheep that are watching and in distressed like they felt it too. "Stay here."

Moxxie heads off to the forest. Maybe he can get some extra details on whatever this could be.

The forest area he was heading to be a bit darker. But that could also be since night time was approaching. Now it's not like the place it dark and scary. Well could be for others if they aren't use to nature. With the big trees close together, weird sounds in the background, and glowing plants that make questionable shadow figures.

It's the animals you would have to look out.

There glow in the dark eyes can be intimidating and set many off.

Moxxie finds it resourceful so he won't hurt them. Now it should be close.

Nudge.

What now?!

Turn around and was facing to face to a deer. Stare at the deer glowing green eyes and glance at the antlers. Then back at them. There were like six deers that were almost like Stolas height from what Moxxie seen. But have seen them be smaller like a regular baby deer up to Bombproof height. But possible would be bigger. Or smaller. "You need something a bit busy."

Grab his scarf and tug him over. At the direction he needed to go.

"Alright. Alright." He followed him in the grassy path. The two moving a bit faster when they heard some sounds from other deer. Along with a waterfall.

They did not sound happy.

Finally, arrived in a cliff like area with a waterfall connected. A few deers standing over it and growling down below. Can see their claws crushing the grass and tails swinging unhappily. Moxxie walk over to see what they are staring at.

Down below was a grassy like cavern of sorts. A lake was down below in the cave. Now it wasn't exactly trap as there was a small area in the lake for it to flow out to the other parts of the planet. Could climb down to it carefully to sit on the grass and watch the water.

But it was the extra package that shouldn't be there and trapped by Moxxie. They look big. Like the size of a bear big. The body of reminded him a mix of a hound and reptilian. The coloring a dark gray and he think purple.  Then you reach the face. Or what could be face. The head part shape like an alligator. No, eyes can be seen. The mouth was long like a pincer like mandible that didn't seem to look correct on the body. Then the mouth open out to let a screech to see rows of sharp teeth. Drool was coming down and land on a rock.

Watch the rock closely and watch it actually grab it to swallow it. That didn't seem right to Moxxie. Eyes widen slightly as they watch it gagged it out but now looked like glowing small shrapnel in the air.

Shrapnel Moxxie seen before target stars and have the same hue like that poison. Quickly open a small pocket portal to grab it all in the air to deal with it later. Well at least he got some answers if this thing is the cause of a few issues.

The thing screeching and pissed trying to climb up the cavern walls.

Pull some thread out his cheek and jump down towards in. Dodge a swipe and kick it in the face. It was thrown back very far to a wall and screech in pain. Head almost snap off.

"Let's see why you were made." Moxxie grumble and his strings grab the creature. Unable to move and make a sound. Pull out the soul.

It was a nasty purple color but the veins were part of it. Natural.

His suspicions were correct and hate it. "Just had to be real."

The last few days brought this thing in a secured area away from area so he can figure out the uses.

This thing was part of making those poison stars. From that shrapnel it gagged up from a rock. Test it by tossing a star he kept and it gobble it up. Then spit it out whole. Use his stings to keep the mouth open to see like a needle of sorts down the neck. To stab the star and possibly those rocks from Moxxie suspicion. Look back at the star and see where it was prick. The start the poison slowly began to spread with those dark purple veins. Look like the right size to start it off. The drool and saliva was no better when he gather some up. Now relived it didn't get in the water or else that be disaster. Did make sure just in case.

All and all this thing was basically poison pouch carrier.

But why?

He had no flippen idea. He didn't create it. If Ink were to make something like this it'll be questionable. Then again the no soul skeleton made lot of questionable AUs.

This thing was made to poison but can eat as well.

Now it was a carrier so there must be some kind of host. Or Queen? King? Where to find the host was a tricky part. Space was big. Big and certain areas are full of mysteries or haven't been traveled yet. This thing could of travel far and probably more.

More and a threat.

A cure was also another story. Besides Moxxie strings there doesn't seem to be another cure made. But also a cure to possible save it. Even if he could save this creature it might as well died since it was dependent on the poison.

Moxxie was willing to kill it just for the safety of the others. But he will asked another opinion. Out of respect he guess

"What is that thing?" Stolas stared in disgust at the creature string up. It snarled at him.

"Remember that issue with some poison stars I found a few months ago and the ones with the strange shrapnel."

"That's the cause of all of it!"

"Not all them just those two examples." The rest were other problems, sickness and issues. Just like a patient with different sickness. "So, never saw them?"

"No." Stolas look at it in disgust. "Where you find this thing?"

Didn't tell him everything. Like to keep the planet to himself but told him what happen along with his studies.

"It's a carrier."

"Correct."

"The host?"

"Don't know yet or what it could be. Besides use the intel I got." Moxxie looked at the snarling beast.

"What would you like to do?"

"Want to get rid of it." Look Moxxie had to think long and hard about this. He doesn't like to destroy or kill if necessary. Or an itch. But this creature is a hazard to not just those animals and the stars. But possible other areas. It job it to bring sickness and eat.

"Any uses."

"Stolas its poison is not supposed to exist out here to do that. Like made by evolutions or mistake."

"I see." Stolas stance serious and stared at the creature.

The creature screech and turn to stone. Besides the strings connected around it.

Moxxie pulled back his strings. Glance at Stolas.

Stolas lean down and poke the creature. "I'll keep an eye as well on these things and get rid of them in my area."

"Alright." Then had Stolas surrounding him.

"It didn't hurt you right my Puppet?" Now feels ridiculous not asking first if they are alright.

"I'm fine and was careful." He was such a mood. Didn't even hear my part.

"Good but do be careful if you continue to do this." Motion the creature.

Shrug slightly and stared at him. "Would you be mad if I had to get rid of them?"

"Oh hell sake no!" Stolas blinked in surprise about a questions. "I may not agree to like certain plants being extinct. But animals are tricky. This thing. This creature goal is to poison our space! That can't do at all. If they're a way to be save. Fine, fix it. But right now like you said there is no way for its part of them. Healing is appropriate but destruction" Stolas face so hungry and salivating.

"Uh Frogmouth your drooling." Confused about the pleased look.

"Destruction needs to happen! To save. Many may not agree to it but they wouldn't understand. Example wouldn't it be better if like the flu was fully destroyed." Wipe his beak.

"The flu?"

"It's a human thing. Well guess it can happen at home too. Anyways. It's an annoying cold and taken many lives. I prefer death yes I do in my own ways. But I can prefer destruction on something that cause pain and death to others. It just brings different things on the plate and ideas to kill." Stolas smiles happily.

"You need help."

"Aww thank you for caring my Puppet!"

Oh! I'm thinking about expanding a few other animals on the planet but don't know what to pick. Lots of animals. If you have an idea what you like to see and how it'll fit in the story. I'll put the animals of the first three replies that comment here. Then will see them somehow. Just put down one animal for your answer and like a fact if you want too. Might draw them too...NO, RATS! (This is closed now for it's a long list.)

But if you reply too late. We can keep your animals on the side for later.

Yes, we just met one of the main cause for poison stars! Will be seeing them again. Don't have a name for them yet.

Moxxie is slightly, like 20%, unsure about sure destroying like a living being again. Unless it's necessary or what to break something. Or if something hurts his family and companions. With these creatures he will but doesn't want to feel guilty like he did in the past. Even if they are poison carriers. So, just a small phase.
