An Average Day

Livia grabbed the man's tie teasingly, pulling his face close to her's. She smirked as he cocked his left brow, closing the gap between them. Her left hand traveled to his back while her right t maintained its grip on his tie. She kissed him, it being returned immediately. Her left hand found his back pocket and slid his wallet out. Pulling away, her left hand flew behind her back. Livia backed away.
"I'll see you around, Mason." Mason nodded, dazed. Livia smirked as he walked away, watching his late realization of the missing object and almost laughing as he continued to put distance between them as he checked his back pockets.
Upon seeing him turn around and search the crowd for her, Livia held up an "L" with her right hand before spining around and sauntering off, sticking the wallet in between her belt and dress.
"How...desperate," She mocked, her rich Alto voice seemingly soft, yet still carrying its natural seductive tone.
Mason wouldn't find her amongst the swarm of people, which is why she hadn't run from him. She had done this far too many times to make an amateur mistake like that. Doing such would attract attention and pinpoint her as his target, if he chose to cry out.
"I still don't understand how you do it," Maria muttered, joining and matching pace with Livia. Livia looked at her out of the corner of her eye, a sly grin stealing its way into her face.
"I still don't understand how you manage to look so beautiful. Your beauty is so natural, and only seems to grow with time." Maria's cheeks colored darkly and she looked the opposite way.
"Stop that," She mumbled. Livia tilted her head, making eye contact when Maria glanced back at her.
"Stop what?" She whispered. Maria looked away again.
"Stop with that...that tone. You're articulating your words and whispering as if you're trying to seduce me." Livia took her chin in her hand, gently forcing eye contact.
"Oh baby, I wasn't trying to do anything. Really, you have to believe me." Maria seemed to falter under Livia's intense gaze.
"I-if you say so," She mumbled, looking away. Livia leaned forward, softening her voice.
"I did, didn't I?" It was a rhetoricle question. Maria tensed slightly, her blush returning. Livia smirked, leaning even closer.
"I-i don't like it..." Maria trailed off midsentence. Livia brushed a strand of Maria's hair behind her ear.
"What don't you like, baby girl?" Maria's entire face was aflame, her eyes looking everywhere but Livia.
"When y-you, you...kiss...others." Maria's voice was barely audible. Livia's eyes flashed with anger, but she pushed it down.
"I'm sorry, darling. Truly, I am. If it would help, I could stop...?" If you weren't focused on listening and happened to overhear, the question would sound like a statement. Maria was listening, so she heard the question.
"Y-yes, I would like that." She whispered ever so quitely. Livia frowned, nodding.
"Okay." She pulled away, her hand dropping frowned under Maria's chin. "Shall we go home?" Maria nodded shyly, guilt flooding her body.
She followed after Livia, occasionally having to run a bit to catch up with her. She grasped Livia's hand, causing Livia to glance at her. Maria smiled innocently and widely. Livia hesitated before smiling back. Maria sighed quitely, knowing she had angered Livia with her petty feelings. Livia would never admit it, but she had trouble keeping a job, and sadly, stealing came naturally and easily to her, also providing enjoyment that she lacked from almost everything else.
Maria squeezed Livia's hand as they approached the apartment building. Livia squeezed back. They walked up the steps and went inside, Maria nodding at the receptionist and Livia barely acknowledging her.
Livia led Maria to the staircase and they ascended two flights, stopping at the corner apartment on the left. Maria unlocked the door and pushed it open, revealing a rather small apartment. Livia followed Maria inside, shutting the door behind her.
"Livia, I...I'm sorry if I upset you." Livia shushed Maria.
"No, it's perfectly fine. I should've asked you about it, acknowledged your discomfort. I should be apologizing."
Maria shook her head. "Don't. Just..." Maria sighed. "We should get some sleep." Livia smiled at her.
"Okay. I love you. You know that, right?" Livia's expression told her she was troubled.
"Yes, and I you." Livia nodded, kissing her solftly before dressing for bed. Maria joined her shortly, snuggling into her chest. They might not have the best relationship, but it was pretty damn good, and Livia wouldn't trade it for anything she only wished that Maria somehow knew that.
