FGOD Error x Nightmare (Floof)
This was requested by FluffyCrossOreo and I had fun. I like FGOD Error. A lot.
*Error's POV*
I sit in the Anti-Void, playing with my strings. A buzz starts in my head, growing in volume until a familiar sensation of my stomach dropping out registers. I sigh, sitting up.
"Ink cr34t3d 4n 4u..." I stand up and stretch before heading to the new AU after Ink left, destroying it in its infancy. I sigh, teleporting to DreamTale, to Nightmare's Castle, releasing a breath I didn't know I was holding. I enter the castle, flopping onto the couch, lying face down.
"Error!" I internally groan, Nightmare's voice having a harsh and angered tone to it.
"Y35, m45t3r Nightm4r3?" My words catch him off guard slightly before he seems to recollect himself.
"Did you just flirt? Nevermind. I need you to cook food for Horror." I deadpan stare at him, before slowly standing, my bones popping back into place as I stand. I stretch, walking to the kitchen.
"T311 H0rr0r I'm in th3 Kitch3n." I wave, dropping the charade once I enter the kitchen, the door slamming behind me. I lean against a wall, folding my arms over my chest. Horror runs in, his red eyelight forming a star.
"Food?"
"Y34h. Wh4t d0 y0u w4nt t0 34t?" Horror takes a moment to think.
"Surprise me!. As long as it's good and food, I don't really care." I nod and start on angel food cake.
*Sometime later*
I pant softly, kneeling for a moment. Dust is kneeling five to six feet to my diagonal left, Killer the same distance on my diagonal right.
"Jeez, I'm the winner. You two are terrifying, and you lose to a Sans with a fucking knife." I slowly stand, but my right leg goes, and I drop, wincing.
"Error?" I wave Killer off.
"W3'r3 5ti11 fighting p41. I'm fin3. C0m3 4t m3!" Killer shifts his weight, worry shining in his full eyelights.
"Sure, let's keep up this three-way." Dust stands and summons a blaster before his eyelights fill with worry too.
"Error?" I growl, finally having enough.
"Why th3 h0n35t fuck 4r3 y0u 100king 4t lik3 th4t?!" I look down, gasping. The snow around me has turned red, a stream of blood leaking from one of my many many wounds. I wince, holding the most recent wound to my ribs, the blood flow slows.
"533? I'm fin3!" I stand, using my strings to halt the blood flow and quickly sew the wound up. It's shoddy at best, but it stops the blood, so it'll do for now. A goopy tentacle wraps around my waist, before Nightmare picks me up, forcefully dragging me away from the battle.
"No fighting. You were bleeding. That isn't supposed to happen to normal Sanses." I look away from Nightmare as he grabs a first aid kit.
"I'm n0t 4 n0rm41 54n5. H4v3n't y0u figur3d thi5 0ut y3t?" Nightmare sighs, patching up the rib wound better. He pushes me over, causing me to lay down on the couch. I open my mouth to complain, but his tentacle touches my mouth.
"Don't argue with me. I WILL make sure you stay lying down." I roll my eyes.
"Wh4t wi11 y0u d0? Cudd13 m3 t0 d34th?" Nightmare gets a glint in his eye.
"I wasn't going to, but if you get up, I just might." I huff, slowly sitting up.
"I h4v3 4 j0b 50 50rry." I'm pushed back down on the couch, Nightmare laying on top of me.
"You gave me the idea to cuddle you to stay laying down, now stay." I blush, huffing and staying laying down. I close my eyes, hugging him slightly.
*Nightmare's POV*
Dust and Killer walk over, slightly put-off by my way of taking care of Error.
"He's asleep now you know." I shrug.
"It's comfy," Killer mutters, a sharpened tentacle pointing at him.
"Repeat that?"
"I think you have a crush on Error," I smirk, shrugging.
"Stating the obvious now? That's a new low for you, Killer." He huffs, and I hum, smiling at Error, gently petting him.
*Much later*
*Error's POV*
I stand against Ink, panting softly. Several more Sanses come out from portals, gaster blasters aimed right at me. I lower my head, too wounded to dodge, and too weak to summon anything to protect myself. I hear the blasters power up and fire, but feel no pain. I slowly look up to see Negativity, Nightmare's Negativity, blocking the blasters from hitting me. I gasp.
"Nightm4r3!" Nightmare turns, smiling at me.
"Error, how you've been?" I stare at him.
"H0W 4R3 Y0U 50 C41M?! Y0u'r3 b3ing hurt! Ju5t m0v3 4w4y, I'11 b3 fin3." Nightmare doesn't seem to hear me.
"I never should have let you leave when I discovered how badly wounded you were from this job. But I let you go...the others hated me for respecting your wishes due to the information we knew. Ink won't ever hear you, love, you need to let him see the consequences of his actions." I stare at Nightmare, who seems to be weakening. I make my decision in my heart. I lunge forward, kissing Nightmare and teleporting us somewhere not there.
He holds me close, the kiss lasting for a long time. I finally pull away, blushing, and look around. Stars surround us, and I smile.
"Outertale."
"So the glitches are a choice?"
"Kinda...I can control how glitchy my voice is, but when I'm highly emotional it's harder to control." Nightmare sits on the edge.
"Sit by me, love." I nod, moving and sitting next to him on the cliff. He smiles, and we look up at the stars.
"Error, do you know the constellations?" I nod happily, pointing up.
"Yeah, I've picked a couple of them up by eavesdropping on Outer when he talks to Frisk."
*Outer's POV*
I sit here for close to an hour, neither the 'Soulless' Destroyer nor the 'Evil' Negativity Octopus destroying anything on purpose. Error broke part of rock off accidentally but tried to put it back where it was. It's weird. It's like everything Ink told us about them was wrong...or at the very least...misinformed. I sigh, shaking my head.
"First Ink's plan doesn't work because Nightmare somehow knew to come to Error, and then They're both here, not destroying things." Someone speaks up beside me, startling me.
"Yeah, it's almost like Ink is a dirty liar who doesn't care about the Balance. Exactly what Error, Dust, Horror, Nightmare, and myself have been trying to get through to everyone all the fucking time." I jump, seeing Killer, Horror, Dust, and Blue sitting on the same island as me.
"Blue?" Blue pays no attention to me, focusing on Error.
"He is happier in Nightmare's presence." Killer nods.
"Yeah, I couldn't believe that Nightmare would let Error go, but I guess he couldn't bear to force Error to ignore the voices..."
*Nightmare's POV*
I smile as Error's face lights up like a little child, excitement oozing off him. I remember when Dream and I used to be close, Error reminds me of Dream...in some ways. Dream always oozed excitement when he was excited about something. But I always hated it, because he was excited about the villagers. Error looks at me, a huge goofy grin on his face as he rambles about how the constellations are obeyed by some people like a religion. Error and Dream are different though. Dream was naive and selfish. Error's entire job is selfless in nature, and he understands it's wrong, but he can't ignore the voices. I feel kinda bad for Error...but as I've gotten to know him, a feeling has kindled in my heart...a good feeling. I feel weak around him, vulnerable, but I don't mind feeling that way. It's interesting that I'm feeling something other than negativity. I'd assumed I had no positive feelings since I could no longer feel them. Error is a catalyst for a lot of good. Killer and Dust have figured out the competition to be 'stronger' than. They look up to Error and long to be like him. Horror thinks of him as a parent, Error always okay with cooking for Horror, allowing the poor skeleton to learn more about other things through association with food. Error has even changed that goody-two-shoes Blue to be a more neutral person. Error blushes when he looks at me again, and I smile, cupping his cheek, and leaning forward. He closes his eyes automatically, leaning forward. We stay in paradise for a while, eventually pulling apart.
"I love you, Error," I whisper this softly to Error, who blushes and smiles.
"I love you too, Nighty." I smile.
