FGOD Error x Ink FLOOF

So, KingstarOwO requested this. It was hard to do, and the result is long, and only really gets floofy after we go to Ink's perspective. However, I have left an opening for an angst part two ^_^

* Error's POV*

I sigh softly, and sit up, tugging at the strings wrapped around my fingers.

It's hard to imagine, but I've been the 'destroyer' for close to five years now.

I softly release a bitter chuckle, standing up.

Ink's never changed. It's kind of pathetic.

I open a portal, stepping into the decaying world of DreamTale. The 'evil' sanses have been with me through this journey, and they help out whenever I'm severely injured, or when Ink has us locked in a longer than usual combat.

I wave at Lust, Dust, Horror, and Killer, who has some weird quadsome relationship going on. I don't question them, no reason to. If they all are consenting to this bizarre relationship, that's their prerogative.

"Cross wants to talk to you~ And Nightmare is in a sour mood~" I nod in response to Lust's warnings, heading toward the castle. I sigh softly.

If Nightmare is in a sour mood, that means he won't go easy on me in training. The last time that happened, he nearly killed me. Cross and Blue had to step in and stop him. And then I spent a week on my ass because moving hurt.

I walk into the kitchen, where Cross is hoarding chocolate.

"Y0u w4n73d 70 741k 70 m3?" Cross jumps in surprise, turning to look at me.

"Error!" He tackle-hugs me to the ground. I wince slightly but keep a hesitant grin on my face to hide the wince.

"Wh47'5 wi7h th3 hug?"

"I just wanted to tell you that..." Cross blushes brightly, mumbling softly, "...I...really like...you..." I tilt my head, blushing as the words register. Cross moves off of me, sitting with his knees folded under him.

"Sorry..." He mumbles a soft apology, and I slowly nod, sitting up.

"Y34h...uh...Nigh7m4r3 pr0b4b1y w4n75 70 7r4in...uh..." I get up, heading to the door, "by3."

I release a loud sigh as I walk up the stairs toward Nightmare's training area.

If I knew Cross had those feelings for me, I wouldn't have hung around him. Like Nightmare says all the time, romance makes the team wrong. He doesn't know about the quad's open relationship, and well, Lust is so flirtatious it's easy to ignore what he's doing.

I stop in front of the door to the training area, not knocking yet.

But if Cross and I got together, it'd be obvious. It probably is already apparent. That's perhaps what has Nightmare in such a bad mood.

"Fucking Cross!" The sounds of punches and the voice cause me intrigue.

"He's probably confessed to Error already. Fuck him!" The punches ramp up in loudness. It's almost certainly Nightmare. But why is he complaining about Cross confessing?

"That fucker KNEW I loved Error first." I nearly stop listening from shock but shake my head, focusing.

"I've half a mind to kick him off the team right now." I knock on the door, the punches stopping.

"I'll be over in a minute." The door opens after a minute, Nightmare his regular old self.

"Error! What a pleasure! Shall we spar?" I shrug.

"Ju57 pr0mi53 y0u'11 g0 4 i7713 345i3r 0n m3? I r3c3n71y f0ugh7 wi7h Ink,4nd I h4v3n'7 c0mp13731y h3413d y37." I smile, watching Nightmare's eyelight flicker with some unreadable emotion before he shrugs.

"Sure, whatever. I'll go easy on you." I sigh softly in relief, going easy, and summon a small bone attack. He dodges easily, sending an equally easy bone attack at me. I avoid it, but a sharp spike of pain in my ribcage sends me to the ground, breathing heavily.

"You okay?" Night's voice flickers between boredom and mild concern. I wince, slowly getting to my feet.

"5ur3. Y0ur 7urn." Night's eyelights flicker with mild surprise, but he doesn't correct me.

This will be bad.

"Get ready." He slams his hands on the floor, his tentacles going down into the story.

This will be bad.

I am so focused on sensing his attack that I don't notice a portal has opened.

"Error!" I blink, looking over to see Blue. Blue seems scared, and I turn, seeing the tentacles lunging for me. Right at that moment, my wound twangs again in pain, and I drop to my knees with no way to dodge out of this without causing more pain, and Nightmare doesn't seem intent on stopping his attack. A flash of white covers my eyes, and when I finally can see again, a massive blue double-sided Warhammer is sitting between me and the offense. I look over at where Nightmare was, finding Blue shouting the king of negativity down. Once Blue is satisfied, he walks over to me, picking me up and desummoning the hammer. He slowly walks over to the portal.

"Sleep, Error. I'm sure you're exhausted." I slowly nod my head, closing my eyes.

I AM tired, Blue... How'd you know?

Right before I fall asleep, a familiar voice speaks.

"Blue? What are you doing with the destroyer?"

~When Error Wakes Up~

I open my eyes, looking up at the golden doodle sphere, and all the worlds.

All that clutter. I have to worry about them all.

I sigh.

No point dwelling on my job. Why am I here, though? Last I recall...

I try to think about what happened before I woke up, but I can't recall. I sit up, rubbing my eyes.

"Blue told me to make sure you had positive dreams. He and Ink have been arguing the whole time you were out. It was amazing. Whatever you did for Blue, he has developed a shiny spine due to it." I jolt around to look at the source of the voice, wincing and gripping my side as Dream places his hands where I grip, using healing magic.

"Blue informed us of...your unfortunate circumstance." I look at Dream, incredulous.

"4nd y0u d0n'7 b31i3v3 m3. 0r him." Dream removes his hands, holding them up in front of himself and shaking his head.

"No, no, no. I believe him. Blue's many things, but a liar he is not. If he believes something to be true, he will spread the information." I narrow my gaze.

"50 Ink 7hink5 B1u3 i5 4 1i4r..." Dream sighs.

"I...guess... it's hard to tell. But the two have just been arguing every time they run into each other."

"How's Error?" Blue walks up to Dream and me, having just stepped out of a portal.

"He's better. But most of the scars will require the work of a more qualified healer." Blue sits beside me, resting his hand on my knee.

"Of course, Dream. I knew that...what else can you heal?"

"Most of the surface scrapes and bruises...Blue. I have a question for you. Error can answer if he feels like it." We listen intently as Dream thinks about how he'll ask the question.

"I've noticed a lot of scars...on Error...and many of them look externally inflicted...who would harm Error?"

"Who do you think, Dream? Ink!"

"N07 411 0f my 5c4r5 w3r3 c4u53d by Ink..."

"What?" Both Sanses turn to me.

"Nigh7m4r3 c4u53d 50m3..." Blue looks upset, but Dream just furrows his brow.

"That's not all...some of these scars... they're self-inflicted."

"What?" I look down at my wrists, unable to see their reactions.

"Some of the scars look like they were done by Error...to Error." Tears well up in my eye sockets. However, all I feel is a gentle hug, and rapidly blink, looking at the person hugging me. Blue smiles softly.

"I'll help you." I tear up more, the tears running down my cheeks.

"Y0u d0n'7 h4v3 70..."

"I'm your friend. It's what friends do. They stick around even when the going is bad." A portal opens, Lust leading Dust, Killer, and Horror through.

"Thank all the Lust in the world!~" Lust runs over, kneeling beside me.

"We got worried-"

"Lust." Dust mutters softly, and Lust sighs exasperated.

"Okay-I got worried when there was some dust and blood-spattered in the training room, and Nightmare looked particularly fussy. It took them a while, but he finally told us that Blue took Error. So I came to check on Error." Lust jabs a finger at Dust and Killer.

"Those two were trying to murder Nightmare." I chuckle softly.

"Wh47 4b0u7 H0rr0r?"

"He was planning on EATING him after death. Can you believe these idiots?" I close my eyes as I laugh and keep laughing after hearing Lust start giggling along. After a few minutes, we are near tears from laughter. Horror and Dust grin widely, nearly laughing as well. Killer and Blue smile softly. Dream tilts his head, slightly confused, but a faint smile tugging at his face.

* Ink's POV*

Watching Blue and Dream smile and laugh along with that destroyer has me mad, but Dream stated he was gravely injured, and even if I want to, I'm not to create...because that destroyer was 'made this way because of me.' He's lying to everyone, and I'm going to prove him a liar in front of everyone. I open a portal to the white place, shivering softly.

"I only have to remain here to find evidence that he does this willingly. Easy." I pull up the code of this area, looking around. The puppets are made like my AUs, but that's not important. There's some code regarding invisible voices...screams...screaming back. I ignore it, looking around for proof that he chose to become a destroyer. I find an oddity in the code, pulling out the image. My eyelights shrink.

The skeleton in the center of the image has familiar white clothing hanging off his frame, the glitch known to cover his eye is nowhere to be seen.

I look through the code, finding a corrupted file. I pull it out, watching with horror.

The familiar skeleton, Geno Sans from Aftertale, tries to leave this white place but can't. He is locked out. He falls asleep, and spends an unknown amount trapped in this place, before Geno looks out of a viewing window, his eyelights dead inside. He backs away, running at the image, his bones and clothing discoloring to black. He smashes through the portal.

I copy the image and the video, pulling the copies into my inventory and leaving this white hell to find Error watching movies about cute puppies and kitties with Horror, Lust, Killer, Dust, and Cross...odd...Cross wasn't here before. Outside, Dream and Nightmare are arguing without magic attacks. Cool...Blue is in the kitchen, cooking. I head to the kitchen door, entering and pulling out the copies.

"The Star Sanses need to meet and see this." Blue rolls his eyes, but waves at Dream, who walks away from Nightmare, exasperated.

"What Blue?!"

"Ink wants to show us something." Blue does not even remotely try to hide the distrust and contempt he holds for me in his voice. I sigh softly.

"Look. It's vital." The two reluctantly follow me to the screening room.

"What did you want to show us?" I turn to Blue, cutting on the picture and the video beside the photo. Dream's eyes widen, Blue even partially containing a hint of surprise.

"You guys were right. Error was forced into this role. Dunno about you, but voices don't start screaming back naturally." Blue folds his arms over his chest.

"What are you gonna do then, Ink?" He leans away from me, watching with suspicion.

"Not my job. That's for sure." We leave the room, heading back to the kitchen. I look out the window and find Error barely dodging Nightmare's attacks, looking freaked out and afraid. I open a portal behind Nightmare, pushing my brush through and smacking Nightmare, pulling the brush back through and closing the entrance as he turns around, angry. This gives Error enough time to open and close a portal, landing in the hallway behind us. Blue looks amazed by my actions, Error looking a little confused, but rolling with it. I walk past Error, smiling.

"Enjoy your stay in the doodlesphere. I need to focus on perfecting the timelines I have instead of making new pieces of garbage." Error blinks, confusion causing his jaw to drop like he has something to say but chooses not to. I open a portal, landing in some earlier creations, focusing on their coding and making things better, sleeker, cleaner, more fleshed out.

~After a couple of months of this~

Today, I'm heading to the AUs of the Sanses in the 'Evil' group. They are just victims of circumstance. Error is following me. He has been for a while, adding his touch where he can, but just fascinated with my job, strangely enough. He has hidden when the Sanses have come around, but other than that, he openly enjoyed the Au. I furrow my brow, sighing softly.

Error has a fear of the Sanses, justified by my previous actions and turning them against him...

I open the portal to DustTale, sighing softly.

"I don't know what I'm going to do. I guess... I'll do what I can." Error nods.

"0f c0ur53." Error is the most understanding and empathetic person I've met. It's strange how I could only see one part of his life and judged him entirely on it. I pull up the code, focusing and changing the things I can while keeping the AU the same at its core. After an hour, I take a break, looking at Undernovela over Error's shoulder. It's not too hard to remain off his radar; he's so invested in it that he barely seems to notice I'm still here.

I lean a little closer to him, watching the show with him.

"Hey." We both jump, looking up to see Dust, who is lying in the snow.

"Don't you both hate each other?" Error turns to look at me, blushing bright yellow at how close I am to him. However, my gaze is focused on Dust, my hand instinctively going for the red vial.

"No. We've clarified a misunderstanding. My job is to remedy the universes I have, instead of making more." I speak slowly, choosing my words carefully. Dust grins.

"You're the creator, though. At the very least, you shouldn't tolerate us, and want us both dead, because we are evil, right? You said so yourself. We're just evil." I look at the coding of Dust's world.

"That was also a misunderstanding." I change the title under Dust from Evil Sans to VoC.

"What does VoC mean?"

"Victim of Circumstance." I sigh.

"You can't choose where you begin, only where you end. However, I can make where you begin just a little bit better...maybe...hopefully." Dust rolls his eyes, a slur in his voice, giving it a sarcastic tone.

"Wow, such a martyr, fixing what he broke!" I don't reply, finishing up his AU.

"If you are done, I have other worlds to fix." I open a portal, walking through. Error walks through a few seconds later, smiling.

"Y0u 4r3 d0ing 50 g00d!" I don't reply, just walking through the snow, accessing the coding, and finding an open spot to work. Things go back to the silence Error is accustomed to. I don't notice if it's super silent or not. Surprisingly, when I work, I get into a hyper fixated state where things that generally mess with me (white, blank, empty, silent) don't get to me.

"Ink..."

"What?" I speak softly and quietly, not paying attention.

"Y0u'r3 4 g00d p3r50n...y0u' v3 b3c0m3 b3tt3r 0v3r 5uch 4 5h0rt tim3...4nd I'm pr0ud 0f y0u." I blink, looking at Error, who is smiling and blushing a soft yellow. I blush a faint rainbow, looking away.

"I'm not a good person. I caused all this pain...I caused suffering to people who needed more protection. The Star Sanses pretended to be good and protect the right people while the people who needed us more were told they were evil...I caused the demons I'm trying to help now. No wonder they hate me." Error sits beside me.

"Un1ik3 th3m, y0u 4r3 trying t0 impr0v3 4nd b3 b3tt3r. Th4t i5 c0mm3nd4b13." He grasps my hand, leaning on me.

"So, don't be so hard on yourself." He whispers that softly, closing his eyes and resting fully on me. I turn, and teleport us against a house, getting comfortable.

"Why do you trust me?" I whisper. He smiles up at me, his eyes remaining closed.

"Why do you protect me?" The silence descends on us, but I find I'm not unsettled by it at all. Not when I have someone to watch. Error looks peaceful when he sleeps. I know one thing for sure. Those others will regret ever even thinking about hurting him.

You guys should request more stuff, and maybe you could use lesser known Error ships? Idk. This was a challenge, but Oblivion by Dirty Palm helped me the last little way. Let me know if you enjoyed this in the comments below. And it's 11:15 pm here, so...hahah...*sweatdrop* I'm tired, but not really sleepy. -_-
