Errors eyes opened quickly. He could sense another soul in the anti-void.

A deep sigh escaped errors mouth as he sat up and looked around. He spotted someone not far away from him. The aura was very...positive.

It was dream.

Error immediately raised his gaurd. He couldn't let it down. Why was he here? and how did he get here?

Dream turned his head towards error. He could sense his emotions. He was scared, and stressed. Dreams soul pained for error. The negativity coming from him was overpowering. No monster in the multiverse should ever have to experience so much pain.

"DReAm...WhAt aRe yoU dOinG herE...." Error asked, shooting a glare in his direction.

Dream gave a gentle smile. Not paying attention to the death glare being sent his way.

"Hey error...I'm not here to hurt you. I promise. I just want to talk." Dream started calmly. Trying to avoid conflict.

Dream had noticed Errors stress level lowered just a little bit. It was a start.

"I-Is..ThIs sOme sIcK pRanK you'rE pUllInG oN mE...! Y-You'Re wIth InK aReNt YoU!?" Error shouted.

Dream sighed. He knew this wouldn't be easy.

"No Error. I am not with ink, and no, this is not a joke. I just want to talk to you. I want to help you" Dream said calmly.

Dream closed his eyes and used his aura to cleanse the anti-void. Error immediately felt less stressed. But he was still on gaurd.

"F-FinE... " Error mumbled.

Dream smiled softly. He stood up and walked over to error, who visibly flinched.

Dream sighed. Sadness tugged at his heart.

Dream sat down, he made sure he was a nice distance away from Error. Not wanting to trigger his haphephobia.

"I have a few questions for you. I wont force you to do anything you dont want to do. I'm only curious on how I can help you." Dream stated calmly, but in a serious tone.

Error nodded. For some reason, he felt...safe around dream.

"So, first question, why do you destroy?" Dream asked.

Error flinched at the question. He looked to the ground and sighed. He figured this was going to come up.

"I-i D-DonT waNT ToO....bUt I hAvE tO...." Error admitted softly. It was indeed a touchy subject. The pain and suffering hes been put through just to do the dirty work of fate was something that enraged him. But also saddened him.

Dreams eyes widened. However, wasn't completely shocked. He kind of suspected this. The negative emotions that error feels when destroying are horribly strong. He always kept the possibility at the back of his mind. Just in case.

A soft smile crossed dreams face. He looked at error with a gentle gaze.

"Alright then, that leads me to the next question. Why do you have to destroy?"  Dream asked.

Error was sort of shocked he wasn't as suprised, but ignored it.

"W-wEll...iN tHe mUltiVerSe, TheRe is a BalancE, In wHicH me anD iNk aRe aParT oF oNe. The bAlAnCe bEtWeEn CrEatIon anD deStRuCtIoN. FaTe...a dEiTy...NeVer TolD iNk abOuT tHe bAlanCe . So HerE I aM, neEdiNg tO dEstrOy uNneEdEd aUs tO kEep thE muLtIverSe In tAct..."  Error explained.

Dreams eyes were wide. Guilt filled his soul as he recalled all the times he had hurt error. All the times he had said something horrible about him. All the time he has been working with ink.

"Oh my....Error...I'm so so sorry...i-i never imagined your side of the story before today...I just assumed ink was right because hes the creator...I'm so sorry for all the times I've hurt you, for all the times ive teamed up with ink to get rid of you. I'm so sorry. Please allow me to help you now. I want to make things right." Sorrow and guilt enveloped dreams soul. He felt horrible.

Error was taken aback by the sincerity of the apology. Maybe he really did want to help.

"I-iTs okAy...iTs nOt lIkE yOu kNeW." Error said while looking down again.

A small yellow hue dusted dreams cheeks. He wanted to make things right. He was beyond grateful error was giving him the chance to.

"Thank you so much error..." dream thanked him.

Error nodded in acknowledgement. A slight smile grazed his mouth.

Dreams cheeks flushed. His smile was adorable.
