He looks so beautiful. Look at those blonde locks, emerald green eyes, and those thin lips. If you look further down, you'll see a hunka lunka yummmy toned body.
Takehiko Akiyama. Third year. 18 years old. Athlete. My sempai.
I have been infatuated with him since I entered high school. He's famous with the girls and all that crap so I can't really approach him. I can just watch him from afar just like what I'm doing right now.
I'm having my lunch three tables away from him but it's enough for me to see everything since I have a perfect vision.
Girls are crowding over him and he seems like he's in a pinch and, of course, it looks so cute!
"Hey! Dude!" I snapped back to reality and faced my best friend who just spoke, Hana.
"What do you want?" I asked, slightly pouting since she just ruined my quality time which is admiring sempai.
"You're drooling." She answered, squinting her hazel eyes.
"H-huh? Really!?" I hastily wiped my mouth with the back of my hand.
"Just kidding~" she said, poking her tongue out.
I glared at her in which she returned with a shrug.
"I think that you should try approaching Akiyama-sempai instead of just gawking at the poor guy. He's single and who knows... You might have a chance with him." She blabbered before stuffing a spoonful of mashed potato in her mouth.
"That's impossible." I answered, playing with the carrot on my plate with the chopsticks I was holding. "Sempai is too famous."
I'm already in my second year and yet, I'm still an existence he's not aware of. I'm not famous. I'm not smart. I'm not even sporty. I'm just your average girl. Need I say more?
"Everything is possible! I have read a story about a famous guy and a nerd girl being together! The jock fell totally nuts for the girl!" I straightened up and listened quite closely. " And the nerd is totally a nerd! She wears those dorky eyeglasses..."
Everything ceased to enter my ears once she said the word "eyeglasses".
...Is she literally telling me that I only need to wear eyeglasses? A dorky one to top that.
Well, that way, I can gain his attention by acting peculiar.
...That's not a bad idea.
"..And they lived happily ever after!~" she concluded with a grin.
"Hana." I called out in a serious tone.
"Yes?"
"I'll be going to the eyeglasses shop." I said.
"Huh? You just missed my poin-" she was cut by the bell ringing.
I stood up and started to run to my classroom.
"Catch you later!~ Thanks for the idea."
"Wait!-"
I soon reached my classroom and had time to catch my breath since the snarly professor was fortunately late.
I took a seat on my desk and did my usual thing; eavesdrop.
I need Intel in regards to sempai's daily high school life. This way, I can learn some new things about him without actually interacting with him. Of course there might be a probability that what I heard are all rumors but hey, I can't be picky.
"Hey, hey! Do you know when Free! will update? Gosh, I'm getting tired of waiting!"
"What makes you like those ripped dudes obsessed with water? I had my eyes on guys in a basketball team like the ones in Seirin~" the girl dreamily sighed. "Or perhaps Kaijo."
Urgh. Why do they talk about guys that doesn't exist? Sempai is much better as a topic.
"Coincidentally, each one of them has a character that wears eyeglasses, right?"
They won't stop talking about fictional crap. I'll just stop eavesdropping; it's useless information after all.
~~~~~~-------
I stared in awe at the sight in front of me.
Different sorts of eyeglasses lined up on the shelves.
The ophthalmologist said that I should pick a frame before getting my eyes checked.
Well, I'm too shy to tell her that my eyes is in perfect condition and that I'm just going to wear eyeglasses for style so I'll just go with the flow for now.
The one with big lens seems to suit me... I should try it out.
I took it out from the shelf and slid it on.. I wonder how I'll see myself?I looked around and spotted a full body size mirror in a corner.
It's kind of out of place since the atmosphere around the mirror is... Tense? Its aura wants me to leave it alone.
But really want to go and look at what I look like.
I walked to the mirror, keeping a distance of at least a ruler.
The eyeglasses emphasized my eyes, making me look like Bambi. But I can't really deny the fact that I look... Peculiar? Weird? Nerdy?
I walked closer to the mirror, ignoring the repelling aura it's giving me.
I adjusted the eyeglasses and tried to look serious.
"Akiyama-san? I'm your junior. Nice meeting you." I said in a stoic expression.
A grin crept unto my face upon seeing how effective I looked like.
"Sempai will surely notice me!" I cried out before covering my mouth.
I just really can't keep my mouth shut, no?
I can imagine sempai and I getting closer until he would confess his undying love for me under the cherry blossom trees! We will share our first kiss and after that, we will do so much!~ I will make a lunch box specially for him and he would feed me with his spoon.
"Ahhhn~" I said, opening my mouth slightly.
Then he would take me to dates! Like a petting café, a mall, or maybe his house!
Just the thought makes me want to nosebleed.
I glanced back at my reflection and nodded.
This eyeglasses will be the sign of my conviction that I will do anything in my power for sempai to notice me.
Wait. Why is my nose on my forehead?
My reflection started to distort. My face started to swirl in a spherical direction.
"Is the mirror broken?" I stupidly asked before holding out to touch the material.
"Watch out!" A deep voice shouted, resonating from the mirror.
"Wha-?" Before I could properly react, a body emerged from the mirror and tackled me to the ground.
Ouch. He's heavy as ten sacks of potatoes.
"Can't you understand simple instructions?" The guy snapped at me, sending a glare once he managed to sat on the ground away from me.
My mouth was hanging open.
A guy with green hair just got out a freaking mirror.
"W-wh-who are you?" I asked. "H-h-how."
"Oh my goodness!" A voice exclaimed.
It came from the mirror again.
Another body came crashing down on me.
Damn. What's up with their weights?
"Woah!" He moved away from me. "I'm sorry! Are you alright?" He asked, slightly adjusting my hair.
"Must look beautiful." He mumbled, his blue locks bouncing.
Why are there two men with weird hair colour inside a mirror? What the hell is happening?
This is causing me too much headache. The world started to spin and I fell on the ground, the back of my head hitting the pavement with a loud crash.
Two faces filled my line of sights before everything turned dark.
