..a chat between old friends..
Natsuki wondered if Sayori could be the cure of her life.
The life that never failed to make her want to end it all.
No.
She didn't want to kill herself.
She didn't want to give in and let Yuri and Monika have what they want.
It might seem selfish to some people...but Natsuki didn't give a fuck about that.
After all she's been through..well is going through.
She should be selfish for a change, right?
...
Natsuki didn't know if she made sense but she didn't want to make some excuse to think of an excuse.
Natsuki chuckled to herself that was a weird thought.
A excuse to think of an excuse.
Irony.
"..it wasn't! It's not that funny Natsukiii~" Sayori whined Natsuki felt guilt pierce through her.
She wasn't paying attention she was too caught up in her thoughts.
She was about to go and throw insults at herself saying on how she needed to listen to the person that cared about her.
When Sayori laughed "I guess..it was a little funny but being called a airhead was mean he was a big meanie" Sayori half laughed and pouted.
Natsuki was frozen she hadn't notice it before but..Sayori's laughs and giggles seemed like genuine happiness.
She hadn't heard it in so long she almost forgot it even existed anymore she felt a smile curled in her lips.
Natsuki was smiling.
She was and she wasn't faking it Natsuki gave a laugh not a empty cold-hearted one.
She was happy.
Genuinely happy.
"..then I jumped and flew! But then I woke up in the hospital I had no idea why everyone was worried though I mean wasn't I supposed to fly? I was a bird for the play so I should've acted the part! I was determined I say DETERMINED!!"
Natsuki was dying with laughter Sayori's stories were funny as hell to her.
Also..Sayori shouting she hadn't flinced.
She hadn't flinced.
Maybe this meant she was comfortable with Sayori?
Natsuki hoped it did.
"...After that I had to play a tree for the rest of the plays the club did so y'know what I did?" Sayori asked "W..what?"Natsuki wanted Sayori to continue and never stop her stories.
"I was the best tree ever I'm such good actor~" Sayori sang a bit Natsuki nodded clapping "S..so good sure"Natsuki rolled her eyes laughing Sayori pouted and playfully punched Natsuki's side it barely hurt.
"W..as that the best you have..?"Natsuki asked poking fun at Sayori a bit "No but I wanna continue my story okay?" Sayori smiled brightly Natsuki felt her heart explode at that smile she just nodded at Sayori to continue.
"After that I had to move to a different school I think it was for my father's business work" Natsuki stared at Sayori before opening her mouth she spoke "...Was your dad a good papa..?"Natsuki asked she gripped her sleeve slightly she did want to know..
The answer she excepted was 'totally he's so awesome!' Then she ramble about how much she loved him but what would happen next caught Natsuki off guard.
"No." That surprised Natsuki "W..hy?"Natsuki asked she was afraid of the answer "He and mother were always busy with work so I always had to make friends then leave them after a month or so."
Sayori said her eyes seemed to dull a bit as she continued to talk about her father "also he smoked a lot. He always wanted a boy they wanted a boy..so badly.. they ended up making me dress as boy and cut my hair as a boy just to kept the impression that the next 'man' of the family would take over the business and would be the next CEO for the company they worked for so they could seem as if they had a full plan for when they die.." Sayori paused "of course their secret got leaked and they disowned me.
They'd pretend they were in touch with me I learned that from a ex-coworker they worked with.
They faked everything just to kept up their little happy family view to give a good mask for them. For the damn company.." Sayori sighed wiping some tears from her eyes
Natsuki had no idea.
Well considering she barely met the girl but she never excepted that Sayori went through that.
She thought Sayori had a easy life a normal one.
She was so so wrong.
Natsuki went up to Sayori and wrapped her arms around her.
Sayori wasn't going to be the one to heal her.
Neither Natsuki would heal Sayori.
They would heal eachother.. they both felt extreme pain.
Even though Sayori isn't in the same 'reality' that she used to be she still needed someone.
So did Natsuki.
...
Maybe they could be there for eachother.
Natsuki thought.
For once in her life it seemed she had a bright idea.
It was for them to help eachother be there for eachother even if there's a slight barrier for them to be there right beside eachother for the exact time they would be pained.
They were still there.
In their hearts...they would be each other.. relief it was them against the world.
That's so damn cheesy.
Natsuki smiled.
It's so damn cheesy but it'll work.
It needs to.
