I sit down on the couch, sighing. I finally am able to go home. But, I do have to take it easy. Which means no fighting, working out, or going to school for a couple days. Just until the wound is sealed up completely. This morning Mikey and Draken came for breakfast and they took Tanaka to school. I remember our first interaction. I told them that they are all the same. I chuckle. How wrong I was. They treat me like I'm part of their actual family. I've never had anything like this, except for my uncle. I haven't told anyone about what I saw. Baji has been busy with a project so I haven't seen him since I saw him in the hospital. I must admit, I miss him. I'm thankful that everyone else is coming to see me, but the one person I want to see isn't here. I tighten the jacket I have around me. It's winter time now, so I have to start putting on the heater. I doubt my parents are still going to pay the bills though. I probably have to get a job soon. The one good thing my parents have done is leave me money to pay for everything. Of course, the money is probably stolen or won from gambling, but it's all I have. I put the bill letters down at the table. I don't want to look at the numbers anymore. Once I graduate, I'll have to work full time just to pay this off and pay for my college. If college is even in the question. This is all too stressful. I get up and put a pot of tea on the stove. While I'm waiting for it to warm up, I hear a knock at the door. I walk towards the door and open it. 

"Baji," my eyes go wide at surprise. 

He smiles. He has chocolates and grocery store bag in his hands. "Can I come in?" 

I nod and move out of the way to let him in. 

"So I got you and Tanaka chocolates, and I got some ramen for us to eat tonight," he says taking the microwave ramen out of the grocery store bag. 

"Oh wow, you didn't have to get all of this," I say looking at the haul before me. 

He smiles at me. " I wanted to."

"Hey, want some tea? I put some on the stove," I say running to the stove to turn it off. 

"Sure," he says helping me get two cups from the cabinet.

He takes the pitcher from me and pours the tea for both of us. He places it at the table in the living room. I watch him as he goes inside the fridge and pulls out the leftover rice balls from before. He sits down next to me. 

"Uh, thanks," I say taking the rice ball from him. 

He nods, taking a huge bite from his food. It feels really nice to have him right next to me. The one person I wanted to see is right next to me. I can feel my cheeks heat up a little, but I shake it off. 

"So what did you have to do all this time?" I ask him. 

"Well," he says while chewing, "I had to help Mikey get some intel about the Moebius."

I nod. "You're okay right?"

He looks over at me and smiles softly. "Yeah, I am."

I feel the atmosphere get intense with some type of emotion. His face is right in front of mine. I can't help but trail my eyes down to his lips. They look really soft. He runs his tongue across them. He moves closer to me and I close my eyes. We are actually going to kiss! 

"I'm home!!" I hear someone yell and I quickly move away. 

Tanaka runs in with Draken and Mikey behind him. They're eyes narrow looking at how close Baji and I are. Mikey grins wide. 

"Did we interrupt something?" He says. 

Baji rolls his eyes, annoyed. I shake my head. "Nope. Do you guys want some food?"

They immediately forget about it and nod. I stand up to go to the kitchen, feeling Baji follow me. He helps me get the ramen ready for all of us and take it to the living room, where everyone is playing video games. We all eat, laugh, and have fun until Tanaka falls asleep. I go down to pick him up, put someone swats my hand away. Draken picks him up. "Let me. You're not supposed to pick up something heavy."

Draken takes him to his room. I notice Mikey yawn. "Hey why don't you guys stay here for the night? It's late and I got an extra room."

"Are you sure that's okay?" Mikey asks. 

I nod. "Yeah of course, like you said, we're friends and friends help each other out."

I'm surprised at my words and I can tell everyone else is, too. But they all smile. I blush looking away. 

"Okay, let me show you where you can stay," I say leading them to the extra room. 

I take them to the masters, which has one big bed. "Two of you guys can sleep in here."

Mikey and Draken both flop on the bed. Mikey brings his head up. "Baji can stay in your room, right Baji?"

He keeps his composure, unlike me, feeling a blush creep up my cheeks. He looks towards me. "Is that okay? I can sleep on the floor."

I nod. I see Mikey and Draken both pump their fists in victory. I give them a death glare, shutting them up. 

"There's a shower in there," I point to the bathroom. "Goodnight guys."

"Goodnight Hana," they sing as Baji and I walk out of their room. 

I walk to my room, Baji behind me. The room thankfully is clean. Hina helped me clean it the other day. I have a queen bed, so we could probably both sleep on there without being right next to each other. 

Baji grabs a pillow and goes on the floor. 

"Hey Baji, I have a pretty big bed, why don't you just sleep on that end. I'll sleep on this end," I say looking down at my feet. 

I see his feet in front of mine and I look up. He towers above me. "Okay."

I grab my pajamas and head to the bathroom to change. I look at myself in the mirror. I can't believe I just offered Baji to sleep in the same bed as me. I mean he doesn't think of it like that probably, but my body is heating up. I've never slept in the same bed with a boy. Even with my middle school 'boyfriend'. We had sex and then he left. That's when I told myself I am not getting a boyfriend ever. But Baji...

I walk out of the bathroom and walk into my room. I see that Baji is already on the right side of the bed, scrolling through his phone. My bed is in the corner of my room, so I get to sleep on the side with the wall, which is my favorite. Baji notices me come in and he stares at me. I awkwardly stand there. I opted for plain black shorts instead of my unicorn ones since that would be too embarrassing. I'm wearing a plain white tank top, with nothing under. I wear this to sleep all the time, but it feels different with Baji looking at me. I finally find the will to move and I go to the bed. I scoot as far away as I can from Baji and cover myself with the blanket. He turns off the lamp on my bed stand. It's silent for a while. I'm wide awake though. Baji is next to me. I try not to take a lot of the blanket because I'm scared he's not going to have any of it. Ugh this is too confusing. The cold air hits my body, causing me to shiver. I can't take too much of the blanket though. I hear shuffling behind me, so I turn around. Baji is staring straight at me. 

"Are you cold?" He asks. 

I shake my head. "Nope, I'm fine."

He rolls his eyes and moves more blanket towards me. He puts a finger on my bare arm. "I can see your goosebumps idiot."

I blush burying my head into the blanket. "I just didn't want to take too much of the blanket."

I hear Baji chuckle so I look up. He's smiling down at me, showing his canines. I didn't notice, but we both moved closer to eachother. If I moved one more inch, I'd be touching his body. My cheeks flame up at this realization. He moves a strand of hair that fell on my face behind my ear. 

"You're pretty when you blush like that," he says. 

My eyes go wide. Did he just call me pretty? I slap his arm. "Stop doing that."

"Doing what?" He asks with a smirk on his face. 

I huff and turn around. He knows what he's doing, he's just trying to make a fool out of me. I feel an arm wrap around my waist and I turn my head slightly to see Baji's face tucked into the crook of my neck. I feel my heart pounding. I can feel his breath against my neck.

"Just calm down, let's sleep, I'm tired," he says against my neck.

I nod and turn back around. I finally calm my heart down, leaving it in flutters instead. I let Baji's warmth and my tiredness take me to sleep.
