Just the Little Sister (Feedback)

ReviewerKeraLee123

Comments: The beginning is nice, it introduces us to the main characters effortlessly and describes their appearance and attractiveness. I absolutely loved the part where she says her looks never did her any favors, yet her brother is constantly attracting women.

It's very easy to read and the concept of the story easy to grasp right from the first chapter. The main character has a crush on her brother's best friend, yet she doesn't think he knows she even exists.

The first chapter also gives us an insight to her family. Her mother died six years ago from breast cancer, which definitely pulls at the heartstrings.

Just a quick suggestion, for Wattpad always make sure to put an extra space between paragraphs so people can comment and react to each comment individually.

I love how she describes when she's nervous or when she thinks of her mother, she twists her necklace. I love when writers add little unique quirks the characters have. It makes them feel more real.

I actually liked the second chapter better than the first, it showed more of Stella's personality and her inner monologue. She's a very relatable character and I LOVE that.

I LOVE the way she adds in unique descriptions. "She flashes my brother a kilowatt smile." Love that!

Jeremy's point of view is my favorite. He's totally down to earth and at first he literally has no clue of Stella's feelings for him which is hilarious because we(the readers) know full well why she's acting so serious and flustered. Plus, Jeremy is trying so hard not to see her sexually out of respect for her brother which makes him even more likable and builds the tension even further.

HOLY SH*T once Jeremy realized he wants her, THIS IS WHERE HER TALENT SHINES! It totally pulls you in, making you HAVE to keep reading. It got to a point where my husband had to make dinner because I told him I wasn't about to put this book down. LOL

This author absolutely has a talent for describing passionate feelings, that's for sure! Love it!

This is my second review for the EBC and I've got to say I'm impressed by BOTH of the books I've read. I am totally addicted to Just The Little Sister now, and I'll definitely continue reading. Fantastic job!

Comments: I liked the plot of the story. It was a cute bff romance. The little sister has been in love with her brother's best friend since she was six years old. The connection between them has been established for years, and Stella has been in love with Jeremy since day one. It wasn't until Jeremy saw her in a skimpy costume though, that he realized she's hot stuff.

I liked Jeremy he's thoughtful and doesn't want to just take advantage of the situation. He's got not only his friend's feelings on his mind but Stella's too. He tries to soft step around it he can, but his on feeling for her gives way. He still wants to be respectful of her and her brother though. It's nice to read about a caring guy.The issue I had is, I skipped the character list. Usually, I do, because I find they take away from the story, but then realized there were no descriptions of Jeremy. I had a vivid picture of Hendrix and Stella in mind, but Jeremy was a ghost. In fact the first several chapters the main focus seemed to be more on Hendrix than anyone else. Which I found to be odd until I realized Stella compares herself to her brother. It then made more sense, but I think Jeremy still needs to be focused on more. He kinda got lost in Hendrix's shadow, and the poor guy is the leading male.

Other than the lack of description, and an occasional rush through certain important parts and a lag on the none essential parts of the story, I actually enjoyed it. It was an easy read. It was cute, and the steamy parts were in fact, steamy. I would read more work from this author for sure.

Comments: I really enjoyed reading this book! I loved the originality of the character names, Stella and Jeremy. You don't hear those often! You gave beautiful physical descriptions of each character so readers don't have to wonder what they look like. I loved the "copper curls and long legs" description! Very vivid!

The storyline is very believable and realistic! I think we've all had an older brother/cousin's friend that has caught our attention right? LOL I love the internal dialogue that you give your characters so readers can really experience what they are thinking/going through. This along with the 5 senses rule really makes your writing pop. You give great descriptive words that stick in the mind of the reader. For example after reading the chapter with Stella and Jeremy's first time, you describe her scent, the sounds she makes, even down to the color of blood that was left on her skin after they finished. All of those things together create such a vivid picture for the reader, so well done!

The only thing I would do is to go back through your chapters and break up the paragraphs so there is a space in between them. This will organize your chapters better and allow your readers to comment on specific lines. When the paragraphs aren't broken up, readers on Wattpad have to wait to the end of the chapter to leave a comment. Just a suggestion!

Comments: I only read 5 chapters and I must say that Stella is really crushing hard on Jeremy. She's tends to do something rambunctious but she does have a shy personality and a very overprotective brother who as Jeremy explained, will slit any guy's throat if they come near her. I also understand that she had to get a few tattoos on herself to remember her mother. And she doesn't considered herself as a wild child after her mother's passing. As for Jeremy, is good person but when I read the part where he saw a picture of Stella in a schoolgirl costume on her phone. I can tell that the bond between his friendship with Hendrix and his secret feelings for Stella could be tested. The plot is amazingly great but I had to force myself to read it. I mean it's really good and I feel sympathy for mostly Stella since she's all about books and education. I mean, the story itself really portrays on how far you'll go to keep these forbidden secrets from your family and your brother's best friend. Without realizing the consequences. Anyways I give this book five stars.

Comments: I've read ten chapters of Just The Little Sister, mostly because I felt the chapters were maybe cut into pairs or thirds and wanted to get a really decent idea of the story, but also because I'm actually really enjoying it. The creative names for the characters and their development caught my attention immediately such as Hendrix. It's a name I've never seen used and I love it. Your characterisation is fantastic and makes each character believable. The fact that they are as flawed as any normal human being and not perfect people is actually what makes them perfect. This is exampled so well in Stella's misconceptions about Lina and I love how despite this the two girls just seem closer for it. And the awkwardness between Stella and Jeremy just builds the suspense and interest of the story with each passage I've read.

I keep finding myself more and more curious as to where they're headed together and if they will end up taking a chance or not. The dual perspective has been done very well too. Often first person books struggle with a split perspective, but you've pulled it off brilliantly. The distinction between your characters in the language they use and the feelings they express is so clear that I can actually hear their voices as I'm reading. You said in your form that creativity is a problem, but I'm seeing all evidence to the contrary.

This is such a fresh take on a college romance where the girl is in love with her older brother's best friend (I actually recall my own sister flirting with one of my guy friends when she was WAY too young as I read this). The angst and the awkwardness, yet strange comfort that your characters express keeps the emotional flow so perfectly and I really feel for both characters. The various different characters touched on in the story also adds to the vividness and reality of the world that they live in.

I cringed at the bar scene where the guy bought her a drink and used the line "I know what I'd like to be doing later..." And I've laughed at so many of the lines Stella, Lina and Jeremy have used. Your vocabulary is brilliant and indicates the intelligence of the characters, which appeals to me as a reader too. I love seeing characters with smarts as well as looks, even if they don't think they have looks. And Lina showing how clothing can accentuate what's already there or make what isn't seem as if it is, is just brilliant as a little detail about her knowledge.

The only thing I'd say work on is the tell over show. The part about their mother and how they'd met Jeremy might have been better in dialogue with Lina or something like that. Grammar wise I haven't seen any issues apart from the typical missed word or full stop we all accidentally have as we write. I'd say this story is very well edited and clean regarding structure and grammar. Overall, I'm really enjoying it and looking forward to continuing to read it once I have more time. I really want to see where your characters are heading.

Comments: I'd like to start by saying that this was a very enjoyable read. The topic "falling in love with brother's best friend OR falling in love with best friend's brother" really appeals to me in general, because it is the kind of forbidden love, or forbidden fruit that most of us can relate to, as it is something that doesn't happen so rarely in real life. Therefore, I think it reaches a wide range of readers, which is always a good thing.

The two main characters stood out to me, in both their personality and their relationship. It was interesting to learn that Stella isn't that innocent at all, given the fact that she bluntly told Jeremy how she is constantly maturating while thinking of him. First I thought that she is just the bookish type, a late bloomer, when in fact she simply didn't want to settle for less. She just always wanted him. Aside from that, it amused me that a smartphone background picture triggered Jeremy's sexual feelings for her, when he never looked at her that way before. His internal struggle is raw and believable. It was so much fun to wait for his breaking point. Their first sex scene that followed after that, was beautifully written and very erotic.

Another positive aspect of that book is how realistic and imperfect Stella's relationships with her brother and father are. No family is perfect, everyone can relate to that.

The bottom line is: I would definitely read more of that author's work, because I believe she is a talented story teller with a lot of potential. Grammer and vocabulary were fine, the lack of passages let me feel like reading an actual book, which I enjoyed quite a lot. The writer's strongest trait is the love and detail that she put into developing her lovable, imperfect characters. Someone, who is a professional writer can certainly see room for improvement and provide feedback that really helps the author grow. Unfortunately, however, that is not what I am, so I can honestly, without sugar coating it, say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I'm looking forward to reading more from you.

Comments: 'Just the Little Sister' follows the story of Stella as she is finally able to express her attraction to, and explore a relationship with, her brother's best friend of twelve years. After reading the summary, I feel we got exactly what we were told we would.

The plot is a sweet story about a young woman who has to push past the perceptions and expectations of her overprotective brother and father to finally express herself. Jeremy has to work through the conflict of realising he is in love with his best friend's sister... Which is made harder because I'm sure he thought he was the type that was going to take a good long while to 'settle down'. I was certainly happy to read it all the way through the end. I have to admit, part of that was because I was wondering how you would handle it; if there was going to be more to the story, or if you would stick to the expected tropes (please note, I am not using the word tropes derogatively here, I believe they are useful and have a place).

One thing that I was pleased about was that you didn't manufacture unreasonable drama in order to extend the story. The only real complication was when they told Hendrix, and Stella did her thing. It wasn't overdone, made sense in the context, and you handled it nicely in the recovery. Was it particularly creative (using that as criteria based on your 'weakest writing trait') as far as romances go? Honestly, no. But... That is the comfort of picking up a good romance. You know they're gonna fall in love, you know Hendrix is going to get over it, and you know there will be a HEA. That is what the story is about, and as far as contemporary romances go, there was no need to overcomplicate it. I think you did a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life, their voices were engaging, unique, and often made me giggle. The plot was well-formatted and organized and the pacing was spot on.

The characters are well-written, and I think you explored them just the right amount. The only thing that I would say is that I felt a little blindsided when Jeremy's heritage was brought up for the first time (I think) halfway through the book. You did such a good job of character descriptions at the start, and Stella knows so much about him, that it didn't really seem to fit in that space where you explored it. On a personal level, I would like to have seen that brought forward in the start of the book, maybe showing him muttering something in one of his parents languages, or something like that, to integrate that part of his character right from the start. Or even mixed in with a physical description (once again, fitting as Stella knows him well so this information is accessible from her POV). I think adding traces of that in right from the start would add an extra layer of depth and richness to the story. (Now, as a disclaimer, if I totally did a me and missed it because of my bad memory, please take this with a grain of salt. Still, I figured it was worth mentioning just in case).

One other thing that I will note is that there were times where the dialogue and action tags were confusing. There were a couple of parts that I had to reread to determine who said and did what. It was never a big deal, but one of those fine-tuning editing things that could just smooth the reading process out a little. In general, it was well edited and a very easy read.

Overall, 'Just the Little Sister' is a lovely, neat contemporary romance. You delivered exactly what you promised to, and in the couple of nights I binged it, I was utterly enchanted by Stella and Jeremy's budding romance. It is one of those novels that you can rely on when you're in the mood for a sweet, heart-melting romance that will give you all the right warm and fuzzies. Thank you for sharing it on Wattpad 😊

Comments: This is the review of about 6 chapters.

1. What did you think the book was about? The book was about Stella who loves her brother's friend Jeremy, but can't show it.

2. Did you feel the book fulfilled your expectation? After reading the blurb, I could expect about the story that this a quite popular story. A World loves her brother's friend. I think it's a simple romance story in the young adult genre with some hot scene as the writer mentioned it in the author's note.

3. What about the plot?As I had mentioned that I think it's a simple romance story, the plot is about Stella and Jeremy who trying to confess each other love and how to be together at the end of the story with some obstacles to prove their love. But once again, it's my thought of the story since I only read around six chapters, my opinion maybe wrong.

4. Do the character seems relatable?Yes. The characters seem relatable like real people in real life.

5. How about the pacing? The pacing seems good for me. There is no rush and not slow either. Even the chapter dividend into Stella or Jeremy POV, but it's in a good portion.

6. Describe what's your likes and dislike of the writing style?I like the freshness of dialogue. The bound among the characters. A simple but sweet story. The most make me uncomfortable while reading this book was there is no spacing between paragraphs.

Overall the boom is good for me. However, I am not into a young adult story and this kind of story plot is common. It doesn't mean that story was bad, just make it different from the other story with a similar plot. I will read the writer's boon when I have time.

Comments: It is your typical brother's best friend trope, and the blurb gives an accurate description of what to expect.

I liked the characters that the author presented, but I felt like there was so much more that she could have done with them. In terms of embellishing more of their personalities, like the relationship between Stella and her roommate, it felt a bit forced and rushed as they only knew each other for 4 months.

Stella even states that she misjudged Lina and had kept her distance, but yet she allowed Lina to influence her to do things that she normally would not do? It just seemed out of character for the Stella that I had read about up to this point.

It just felt like they went from roommates who barely talk to bffs in one day/chapter.

Similarly with the relationship with Stella and Jeremy, when they finally get together, it felt a bit rushed to me.

One minute Stella is annoyed with Jeremy, then the next she basically jumps him lol. So it felt a bit out of character in a way, I thought that perhaps she would have given him more time to sort through his feelings as from the previous chapters she seemed like a very level headed and calm person.

The pacing of the chapters were fine, then all of a sudden this rash behaviour comes out of nowhere and it sort of took me by surprise. It just did not feel natural as the jump was too quick, at least to me.

The plot did not pull me in as much as it could have because I felt like there were a lot of missed opportunities. I do believe that with a bit of editing that the story can be even better as the plot is solid and the characters have good chemistry.

Comments: I read up to "Decisions, Decisions" (Ch. 10). I enjoy it enough to keep reading. I liked the writer's style a lot. Dialogue/emotions/situation all felt real. I honestly felt like I had to be picky during this review to point things out that I disliked/thought could be improved.

I've liked the plot. It's a safe and sweet story. I loved Jeremy's POV and found myself continuing reading whenever I realized he was the next POV.

The characters seemed real and believable. There were great descriptions and I was able to visualize them. I LOVE dual POV in romance. It's my favorite. I related to awkward Stella, although I would've liked to see more of her independent streak. From the way the author has written, she'll probably have that later. Lina is every shy girl's fairy godmother and I loved her. The author does a good job with the catalyst in Jeremy's view of Stella and only just noticing her after all this time. Sometimes there are things that the POV shouldn't know, like "she averts her gaze...unsure of what else to say." Jeremy wouldn't necessarily know she can't think of something to say. Instead, it'd be better to say something like "as if she was unsure of what to say," or something of that nature.

The overall pacing was good. I think I'm at the inciting event, so I expect it'll start moving forward more at this point. There were scenes (like the decision for pizza) that I felt could be truncated, but I understand wanting it to symbolize a passage of time. I think there's a better way to do it. There were other parts I also felt could be cut (Jeremy and Stella get into the car, drive, get out of the car, go to the stairs, unlock the door, turn on the light). It felt like an instruction manual. Inner thoughts sometimes punctuated the actions, which helped. But I found myself wanting to know why I was reading certain actions and they felt more like they were filling time rather than having a purpose.

The description in the chapters were fine. I didn't notice one way or the other really. I'm not so good at descriptions myself. The 1st time Jeremy points out Stella's tattoo I was confused as to where/what it was at the time because I don't think it was mentioned immediately. The author did a good job telling rather than showing. I thought the author did a great job showing emotions, although there was lots of blushing and I think different body language could've been utilized. I felt poor Stella's embarrassment every time though and that's the point.

I agree the author is strong in well-rounded characters, although I wouldn't necessarily agree they're unique/diverse. Unique/different from one another, yes. But there wasn't anything that stood out to me as someone I'd never read before. I disagree that her weakest traits are organization and grammar. This was well organized and clean grammatically. There were only occasional "tense" issues, but by no means were they too distracting. From what I've read so far, I agree creativity is a weakness here. However, from the premise, I think that'll change. I've never read a book about someone crashing a bachelor party to get noticed before.

I enjoyed this read and will keep reading this book. I'd also be open to reading more books by this author!

Comments: First impression: I like the simple picture of beautiful red curls on the cover, but the title and byline need more definition to stand out as the the text easily blends in with the picture.

Use of language: Other than a few punctuation and grammatical errors and some awkward sentences, the writing in a mechanical sense is very clean, clear, and concise. The most common error I recognized was the lack of commas when addressing a character and the use of too many periods.

"I need to talk to you Stella." He said softly.

REVISED: "I need to talk to you, Stella," he said softly.

"I have to be home by midnight ... "

REVISED: "I have to be home by midnight," she says, posing her statement like a question.

Characterization: Stella is an amazing character that acts so incredibly age appropriate. She's a tongue-tied and nervous wreck whenever she's around her love interest, which is so relatable to anyone who has had a crush on someone. Even though she may lack inexperience, I love that Stella simply owns her sexuality and is simply curious about it. What I love most of all are her honest outbursts about her feelings for her love interest, especially when said guy thinks he "knows" her.

Writing style: The writing flows so well between descriptions, exposition, and dialogue that I easily read the first five chapters without blinking an eye. The pacing is on point, especially when it came to moving the characters forward with the story.

While the revelation of a secret or confession is a huge payoff for some readers, how the characters deal with the aftermath of the revelation holds more emotion and drama. The writer honestly gets to the heart of the story with right amount of depth and honesty.

Overall: I thoroughly enjoyed the book and finished it in one day because I had become invested with Stella.

Comments: 1. What did you think the book was about?Older overprotective brother/s most likely falls for a friend of the brothers or a mortal enemy.

2. Did you feel the book fulfilled your expectations? It did, I liked that Stella wasn't you typical Wattpad teen and that she wasn't cringey to read (which I tend to find with teenaged characters)

3.What about the plot? Does it pull you in? Or did you feel you had to force yourself to read the book?I enjoyed how the writer told us how Stella fell in love with Jeremy, that she's loved him for nearly 14 years. That element brought me into the story.

4. Do the characters seem real and believable Were you able to relate to them as a person and their predicaments? To what extent do they remind you of yourself or someone you know, if they don't all?I surprisingly could relate to Stella, her character was fun to read, her inner thoughts were fantastic, and for me connected me to the character that much more.

5. How was the pacing of the chapters? Consider if the scenes skipped or jumped randomly. Was it too slow or too fast? Why?I enjoyed the pacing, a good speed for the scenes that were unfolding—having that time to appreciate all the characters before we got into the thick of the plot.

6. How was the description of chapters? Consider the scenes, their settings, emotions, actions. Consider if there were any information bumps. If they were lacking emotions, too little or too much describing, telling rather than showing, etc.Excellent description, the fantastic portrayal of characters, even minor characters such as the waitress had her own impact on the story even if momentarily.

7. Describe what you like and dislike about your writer's style. Why?I loved the writer's style I would say however that I know they had indents for each paragraph I would still add a paragraph space for me it's still a bit too clunky for my liking, but that's a personal choice.

8. Would you read more of the author's work? Why or why not?I would most definitely read more of the story I enjoyed it!

Comments: The story is wonderfully written with deep characterization. In a very short time, one can get a very good feel of the characters, who they are and their motivations. I enjoy how tight-knitted the family is and the main lead's motivation is very clear from the get-go. You've done a marvelous job showing rather than telling about the MC's infatuation with Jeremy with the opening scene. The language flows beautifully and is easy to follow.

A couple of pieces of feedback although in my opinion, nothing I am about to point out here actually hinders the story in any way. I had to look hard to figure out what feedback I can give!

I would have liked to see Jeremy's own attraction to Stella a bit earlier to increase the tension and grab the reader earlier on. Chapter five almost felt like it was too long to wait. Onc he does turn the corner though, he is so very fun to read that I wish it happened sooner in the story. Another really small detail plot-wise I question is why Jeremy would try to use Stella's phone to call Hendrix when he likely have his own? Perhaps something around his own phone being ok low battery may fill in that plot hole a little.

From a readability perspective, Wattpad is not great at carrying over formatting. You would be better served to use a blank line to separate the paragraphs and don't indent. I'd also like the chapters to be a bit longer. Feel free to combine chapters and separate scenes with a divider or use a bit of transition paragraph to combine scenes. The story would flow a little more that way, especially if you are gearing towards publishing beyond Wattpad. If you combine some chapters too, it will pace the story in such a way that it seems like Jeremy's attraction to Stella happens earlier.

Again, these are all completely nitpicky things and your story as it is is absolutely outstanding. I just started on the story and already I just want to smush Jeremy and Stella together which is exactly the effect you are probably going for. Congratulations on a story so well crafted!

Comments: 1. How many chapters did you read? 15 (Keeping Warm)

2. What did you think the book was about? The summary was clear and concise, communicating perfectly that the story was about a girl who falls in love with her older brother's best friend.

3. Did you feel that the book fulfilled your expectations? Yes, the book definitely fulfilled my expectations. Stella is a fun character who I think anyone can relate to. She's seemingly shy and unsure of herself before eventually coming out of her shell and risking it all for love. I enjoyed the humor and the dialogue between characters, and of course the hot love scenes.

4. What about the plot? I thought the plot was good. Forbidden love is always a good trope and you put a fresh twist on things with the obstacle being Stella's older brother who is also Jeremy's best friend. What was more intriguing to me though was the obstacle of Stella's shyness and insecurity. It was fun seeing her shred the good girl persona and chase Jeremy into the snowy mountains during a bachelor party to stake her claim.

5. Do the characters seem real and believable? Great characterization. Stella was complex: you definitely captured the sweet, innocent girl vibe while showcasing her naughty side. She's stronger than she knows. Having her deal with the passing of her mother was also done well (something I can relate to) because it definitely pops up in your head often as a young woman -- wondering what advice your mother would have given or just missing her in general. Stella's interactions with her dad and brother, Hendrix, were also good and the dialogue came across as natural and unforced. My only critique was that I struggled with the idea that she fell in love at six years old. I know I wasn't thinking about boys at that age. Jeremy's character was also very believable. It makes sense that he would have compartmentalized and hid away any feelings he may have had for Stella, out of respect for her brother. The conflict he felt between being loyal to his best friend Hendrix and his attraction to Stella was well written.

6. How was the pacing of the chapters you read? Good pacing, the chapters were a good length and it was easy to breeze through them without it feeling like a chore. I was eager to skip to the next chapter.

7. How was the description of the chapters you read? I thought the description was good in terms of appearance. There was a lot of vivid language concerning hair color, texture, eye color, or what someone was wearing. The description could have been stronger when it comes to dialogue. A lot of it was just a back and forth conversation, whereas it could have been richer by indicating the tone of voice or facial expression. The description of locations and surroundings – such as the bookstore or dorm room – could have been stronger as well. A lot of the chapters seemed to briefly mention where the characters were and then jump straight into dialogue. More descriptive language could help set the ambiance of the scene (what are the characters seeing, smelling, hearing, etc.?)

8. Describe what you liked or disliked about the writer's style? I really enjoyed how you used multiple points of view. It was nice to read both Stella and Jeremy's inner thoughts about each other. Very quickly it was established that they both were crazy about the other. Your dialogue was believable and natural, and you worked in lots of humor. Your spelling and grammar were good for the most part, but I did notice quite a lot of tense changes between past and present. Using bold font for the first phrase of a new section was a nice way to establish breaks in the chapter.

9. Would you read more of the author's work? Yes, I would definitely read more of your work. Your plots are creative, the characters are relatable, and the love scenes are hot!

10. Comment on their strongest and weakest writing trait along with their help request and give overall thoughts.Good job on taking a classic trope (forbidden love) and making it your own. I would agree with you that your strength is definitely creating well-rounded characters who are diverse and unique. And although you listed organization, grammar, and creativity as weaknesses, I would say those are strong as well. The only things I would suggest working on are watching for changes in tense and adding more descriptive language. I enjoyed reading this story, thank you for sharing!

Comments: Dear Natalieemm:

I so want to tell you that I finished your book, but I can't. I've run out of time. I'm sure i will circle back and finish, but I so need to get this review in and get onto my next assignment. I know...I know, no excuses...It's not like the world has been falling apart over your two weeks.

Oh wait...It has.

It was interesting to read your offering during this time of strife and unrest for black America for all America. Your story was a wonderful respite from the reality of injustice in the U.S. It was nice to forget the tensions and just read about a budding romance and young person's angst to be noticed and the elation of dreams come true.

I found your writing very comfortable and easy to read. The story was fun, quick and witty, and I found the chapters flying by once I extracted myself from the news cycles. I have two kids in NYC (as if Covid is not scary enough). With that said I would offer some constructive criticism from the male and older perspective.

It was great to see that the bar scene hasn't changed all that much from when I was young. Hormone's raging and all. I felt that Stella, and the ladies for that, shouldn't have to endure a double standard. Stella's at the bar to learn and Jeremy is there to score. Maybe he could be exiting that phase more positively...or not. Maybe Stella goes and is a hit with one of Jeremy's rivals and that gets him thinking. Too much niceness make for a bad story. Just left me feeling (like I always do...that the pretty boys get all the action) like he needs to work for it.

Your dialogue was fun, sharp and didn't feel forced. Good work. That is tough to pull off....but these black stud's sounding sharp to an old white guy...might be a problem. Maybe that is by choice, but maybe that stands out to your target audience

I like the build up to 'Keeping warm' , and the sex scene was delicious. Maybe I am wrong, but, as a virgin, I only remember being so nervous about the act, that I couldn't enjoy it. But I guess it is fiction. Maybe the first time shouldn't go so well for believability. And finally, on that note, do kids of 6 years of age fall in love?? I would let her grow up first maybe 12 or 14. Now I'm sounding really old. Better stop.

Comments: Just the little sister started off interestingly. We see our main female protagonist meeting up with her crush along with her family but still we get a peek into how bad her crush is. Stella seem like a likable enough character. She average but have that shy thing going for her that some guys seem to like. Jeremy seems like he's rediscovering his crush on Stella. At least that's what I got after reading five characters. I saw nothing wrong grammar wise. It's better than most on Wattpad. Tje creativity is interesting. I'm hoping this isn't the standard little sister fall for big brother's best friend story. I'm hoping nee twists will be played. So yes I will be reading this story all the way to the end. Good job on developing your scenes. Overall this story seems like it's right up my alley.
