The present 1962
As Eric and I walked towards the owner of the bank when we reached the door a reached for the door handle Eric grabbed my hand and lowered it and said
"It might be better if you stay out here you know of things go bad."
"OK."
A few minutes later
I was sitting in the chair and using my telepathy listening to a guards conversation to another guard and I was shocked to here what they were saying
"Hey Jerry."
"What is it Sam?"
"Check out that girl over there she is looking at me."
"Yeah so what."
"I think she likes me."
"Sam she came in with a guy I don't think she is into you."
"I think she is."
"If you are so confident go over there say nothing and kiss her."
"Fine I will."
I jumped out of his mind and he was walking over to me with a smug look on his face. I quickly made contact with Eric and said the two words that makes him come running
"Help me."
I heard a scream coming from the office and the guard was now right in front of me and blocked my chances to escape and started to lean in. And the doors of the office burst open and there stood Eric and the guard stopped and smiled a nervous smile and slowly backed away
"Hey were you about to kids her?" Eric asked the man
"Um yes sir I thought she thought I was atractive and I think the same of her."
Eric held a hand out to me and I took it and stood up. He swung his arm around my shoulders and mine around his waist.
"Rose do you think this man is good looking in any way?"
"No Eric I don't."
"Well than in that case."
Eric used his powers and threw his against the wall and Jerry was about to call for back up. But I put my fingers on my temple and said
"Jerry forget our faces. Sam forget our faces."
They both passed out and Eric and I walked out like nothing happened. "So Eric find anything about Shaw?"
"Yes he going to leave on a boat soon we have to get to the docks. I will finally get to kill him."
I stopped him when we were out of the bank and grabbed both of his hands and looked into his eyes and said
"Eric promise me you won't get yourself killed. Promise me that you will back down if it gets to dangerous."
"I promise Rose."
"You are all I have left you are basically my brother. We tell everyone that were related anyway. I don't need to lose anyone else."
"I know Rose you are my sister. But right now we are going to the docks."
