Eren's POV

I walked down the sandy beautiful beach smiling happily. A few girls giggled and blushed when they saw me, I would just wave and smile making them blush even more. I didn't know why they do it so much like I'm not that hot. (Liar). I stopped in my tracks and stared at the part of the beach no one goes to. People have said it's haunted and stuff. I thought for a moment,

'Well I do like scary things so...'

Letting my curiosity get the best of me, I walked towards the part. I toke in my surroundings and didn't catch anything creepy until I heard a groan of pain. I jumped startled and gulped before walking towards the sound. Now I stood in front of the bushes that block the thing and me. I man up and push the bushes aside before looking around. I don't see anything and sigh in disappointment. I was about to turn around and leave but I heard another groan and quickly spin on my heel. My eyes widened and my heart stopped at the sight before me. There was a raven haired man around my age but a bit older with a silver mixed with black and blue mermaid tail. I gulp and walk towards him cautiously. He stopped groaning and looked at me with narrowed eyes. His eyes were the most beautiful eyes ever, they were a piecing silver with sparks of blue.

"Are you okay?"I ask nervously,

He seemed taken aback by my question for some strange reason, I tilted my head confused. He looked down at his tail, I followed his face and gasped at the sight. It had a big deep cut on it and blood was pouring out of it making a small puddle.

"OMG your hurt really badly! I'll go get some things to help you,
I'll be right back just hang in there!"

With that said I dashed back home bumping into my roommates Mikasa and Armin.

"Eren-?"

I ignored them and quickly ran upstairs and grabbed the first aid kit before dashing straight back to the merman. Once I arrived I looked around and saw him struggling to stop the bleeding. He saw me and looked relax and calm unlike last time. I walked over to him and sat down next to the injury.

"Okay it might hurt"I warned,

He nodded, I opened the kit and toke out some alcohol. I put some on his cut and he hissed in pain, I put my hand on his and gave him a reassuring smile. I don't know why I did but it just felt right. After I grabbed some gauze,

"Lift up your...tail"I commanded.

He obliged and lifted it as I got on my knees and started to wrap the wound nice and tightly. Finally I was done and packed the kit but noticed that he can't move because he doesn't have feet.

"Want me to pick you up and put you in the water?"I suggested pointing towards the glowing sea filled with wonders.

He looked hesitant but nodded reluctantly. I smiled and snaked my arms under his soft tail and back before lifting him up. He gasped in surprise while I chuckled, I walked towards a dock and dropped him gently in the water. He popped his head out while I sat down and held my hand out.

"I'm Eren by the way! What's your name unless you don't have one?"

He gave a half smile and grabbed my my tan hand with his pale one. He started to think deciding to talk or not.

"I'm Levi, thank you for fixing my tail"he replied softly.

His tone was deep and calm compared to my soft and happy tone. My smile faded into a frown as I looked down at Levi.

"How did that happen to your tail anyways?"I ask,

I move aside a little allowing him to sit beside me. He sighed and looked at me with a serious glaze.

"Your kind caught my tail with some type of rope and I had to cut my tail to get free"he frowned at his tail.

"I'm so sorry no wonder you looked scared when you saw me"I looked away guilty.

"It's fine, by the way brat"

I looked at him with question, my eyes widen as his soft cold lips press against mine. I froze surprised and shocked by what's happening. A feeling inside me started to push me making me kiss back.

'What's this feeling?...do I like him?'

I pulled away gasping for air and looked at him to see him smirking. I blushed and looked away,

"Eren I just found out something"I looked at him slowly this time just to make sure.

"W-What is it Levi?"I stuttered cursing at myself because of my stuttering.

He leaned in closed making our lips inches apart from one another. He whispered in a soft yet calm voice.

"Your my mate"

He kissed my lips again and this time I kissed back. I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer to me while he snaked his arms around my waist. He pulled away this time and admired the creation he had made. My cheeks were scarlet while my turquoise eyes shined in the twilight and my mouth slightly agape. I smiled and pulled him closer putting my forehead against his.

"And your my merman"
