Levi walked back over to the couch, determined not to act like an awe struck high school kid when he talked to Eren. Thankfully, when he got in the living room, Eren was already awake and had put a shirt on. Levi cleared his throat.
"Did you sleep well?" He tried to act like he didn't really care.
"Yeah, I did." Eren replied with a warm smile.
"Good." Levi gathered the blankets and put them in the washer.
"Hey um, thanks for being so nice to me." Eren thanked him.
Levi knew his face was on fire so he didn't dare turn around.
"It's no problem. Really, don't mention it."
"I'm sure you want me outta here asap so I'll get going."
"No!" Levi yelled as he spun around quickly and grabbed Eren's wrist. His face heated up once more.
"Uhm, well, you see... I kinda like having a room mate." Levi stared at the ground, afraid to see Eren's reaction. After he heard only silence, he looked up. Instead of seeing a confused, disgusted face, he saw Eren smiling.
"Ok, I'll stay then." Levi let go of Eren's wrist and tried to regain his composure.
"Ok sounds great." He speed walked to his bedroom and gently closed the door behind him.
