Journey For Answers

Eren

The next day after Annie slept, I grabbed my stuff and headed towards Armin's place. I parked my bike outside his house and knocked on the door. Armin opened the door and walked with me to the bedroom that he locked as soon as he entered. I closed the curtains and he readied his computer. I contacted him about him tracing a call to someone and told him that I needed help with Annie. He immediately agreed and asked me to come to his house as soon as possible. I plugged her phone to Armin's computer and watched as he did his magic, tracing Annie's contact and his location.

"What the?!" Armin exclaimed.

"What?" I asked.

"The... The location differs drastically with every text message! One message came from the mall, while another came from East Asia!"

"They've probably expected that someone might try to trace his messages. Is there any way we can find them?"

"Uh, I'm not sure. I can't help you from here. I've saved the texts for when you need to review them again. I'll send them to your phone," Armin replied.

"I'll have to rely on the fact that she went to Ukraine and returned soon after," I stated. "Thanks for the help, Armin. I really appreciate it."

I left Armin's house and returned to Annie's place. I parked the bike inside her garage and opened the door. When I approached the living room, I realized that she was not there. My heart dropped at the sudden realization. I hid her phone under the couch and walked to the kitchen where I found her eating cereal.

"Where have you been?" She asked.

"At Armin's place," I responded honestly. "I was copying some homework that he did for me."

"Oh, alright." She continued eating her cereal, believing every word I spoke. I sat next to her and opened my phone to find that Armin has successfully transferred the files to my phone.

"Eren?" Annie said. "You don't look ok."

"I woke up early today. I wanted to have more sleep, but the homework was really important," I replied.

She got up and brought a bowl of cereal for me. I watched as she poured the milk for me and gave me a spoon. I grabbed it and plunged it into the bowl, pulling out a nice amount of cereal and eating. I watched as Annie ate her cereal with a smile on her face that tugged on my heartstrings, filling me with joy. However, that moment of tranquility did not last long as I instantly remembered the fact that she was talking to some secret person from behind my back and flew to Ukraine without telling me.

"So how was your sleep?" I asked.

"In your arms? It was the best. Can we sleep like that again?" She asked.

"Sure," I replied. "But we must add some more steamy action to it," I said, licking my lips.

"Oh, of course. That will happen regardless."

I was secretly texting Levi to see if he can prepare us a flight to Ukraine with his resources. He immediately responded affirmatively, preparing a flight for me, Armin, and him. It was due today, so I had to leave with the other two in secret. Armin had no intention of going at first, but I convinced him that we'd get to go sightseeing and enjoy the place. Armin is fond of exploring new locations and going around the world so it was easy to convince him of the plan. I grabbed my stuff and told Annie that I need to go. She clung to me like a baby kitten sticking with her mother at the mere mention of me leaving. I realized soon enough that making her let go of me was going to be a challenge in and of itself. I grabbed her and threw her on the couch. She thought that I was going to make a run for the door so she tried to jump after me, but she stopped when she saw that I was taking my shirt off.

"You want these abs, huh?" I asked.

"Y-Yes," She replied, looking away.

I jumped next to her in bed and kissed her lightly on the neck, turning her on at the mere touch of my lips against her skin, I began to hear her breathing increase and sound heavier by the second. I started touching her flower and gently caressing that area, hearing her moan because of it. I laid her on the couch and took her pants off before plunging down to lick and eat her pussy. She began to moan even louder and fondle her own breasts while pushing my head further in.

"Oh yes! Ah! Yes! Please continue! Don't stop." I grabbed my pants and took them off. Then I began massaging my cock before readying myself to insert it in her mouth. I stopped eating her and grabbed her hand, taking it to my cock. I watched as she immediately placed my member in her mouth and began sucking on it.

The sensations felt better as time went on. The saliva she used while playing with my dick using her tongue remained on it and made the experience even more satisfying. I pushed my cock deep down her throat and began to rock back and forth, fucking her mouth as she played with her pussy. I pulled out of her mouth and watched as she began jerking me off as I fondled her breasts. Not fifteen seconds after removing it from her mouth, I placed it inside her pussy and began fucking her once again. Her moans became even louder than before and more erotic, turning me on even though I was already trying to please myself through her.

"Oh, fuck! You still feel so good!" I exclaimed before pulling out and inserting it in her mouth once more, pushing it deep down her throat and pulling it out again and again. I grabbed her vagina and stuck my finger in it, pleasing her as she enjoyed my penis inside her sexy mouth. Not long after, I came all over her mouth and face.

Feeling tired after everything, she agreed to let me go. I wore my clothes and left to meet Levi and Armin who were waiting for me at Levi's place. When I arrived, I spotted a sedan parked outside Levi's place. I parked my bike and watched as Armin and Levi got out of the house and walked towards me.

"What took you so long?" Levi asked.

"I was with a girl," I replied.

"Oh, you horny bastard!" Levi laughed. "Are you ready now?"

"Eren, I went to your placed and packed some of your cleanest clothes for the trip. The bag is already inside the car," Armin informed.

"Thanks, dude! Levi, do you mind if I park my bike inside your garage?"

"Of course not! Go ahead!"

After parking the bike, we entered the car along with Levi's friend who drove us all the way to the airport. We got out of the car and entered the airport where Armin started to breathe in the air in a rather enthusiastic fashion. "I love traveling!" Armin stated. "Especially when I get to see the ocean!"

We went to check-in and get inside the airplane as soon as possible. When we got the airport cafeteria, I called Mikasa and told her that Armin and I will be pretty busy for a while and we'll be out of reach.

"Why? Are you going somewhere?" She asked.

"Yeah. We're going to check something out. It's very complicated, so I have to spare you the details. But I'll inform you that we'll be gone for some time."

"Oh, okay. Safe travels!" Mikasa said before I hung up.

"What are you gonna do when you reach Ukraine?" Levi asked.

"We'll be looking for the place Annie spent the time she did in Ukraine and we'll have to find out as much as we can," I replied. I showed Levi the texts and explained why it is important to me.

"Okay, so we'll be in and out before anyone knows?" Levi asked.

"Pretty much, yeah."

"What about sightseeing?" Armin asked, feeling tricked.

"Oh, we'll get to do that after we're done. But this mission is our main priority. We'll find anything important and leave, okay?" I explained.

When the plane arrived, we hopped in and went to Ukraine. On the plane, Armin sat next to me and we talked about how Annie weirdly left and did not come back for a while, not even mentioning that she left in the first place. I agreed and added that she was even paranoid when she returned. The only way we'd truly find out what is wrong with her is by going to that place and seeing for ourselves. On the plane, I saw Armin reading a book and Levi casually listening to music on his headphones. I had nothing to do so I scrolled through my phone for photos of Annie and feeling a need to jerk off. However, I kept to myself and decided to sleep until we arrive. And so I slept in the plane and did nothing until Armin woke me up, telling me that we were leaving.

We got off the airplane and headed to where the texts said the location was. When we arrived at the mansion, we hid close by and used binoculars to zoom in and watch the building. We realized that it was empty and proceeded to go inside by climbing over the wall and seeing ourselves in. We snuck through an open window and walked inside while looking for cameras and anything that might give away our identities. We ended up using masks that we brought with us and hid our identities. As we searched, I made it inside an office that looked organized and clean. There was no trace of anyone even being in that room. Armin came inside the room to confirm that there was indeed no one in the mansion and helped me check for anything that might give us a clue as to what Annie came to look for in this place.

"Eren, come see this," Armin said, pointing towards a photo of an old man, Annie's mother, and a baby. "Is that who I think it is?"

"Yes. It's definitely our girl," I confirmed.

Armin looked through the drawers in the desk and found papers concerning regular but very profitable businesses that all seemed legit. That's when Levi came in and began examining the drawer itself, revealing a hidden compartment.

"Whoa. Someone wanted something hidden, I wonder what," I said as we looked through the drawer while Levi looked through the other drawers and tried to find more hidden compartments. We stumbled upon letters from Annie's father to many different people concerning stuff about a 'Titan Serum' and it's effects on the human body. Levi discovered one other hidden compartment throughout his surveying of the drawers which hid more letters. Ones that were addressed to a certain Adrian Meyers.

"That's the same Adrian that we know!" Armin exclaimed.

"The same Adrian that we had the displeasure of meeting, you mean," I corrected the blonde kid while reading the papers in my head.

"A secret door?" Levi commented before removing the rug in the office that covered a secret entrance that leads to a hidden room underground. Levi tried to open it but failed as the door was locked.

"There has to be a key here somewhere," Armin stated. "Even if whoever hid the door kept the key on them, it's fair to assume they must've kept a spare."

Armin and I looked for a few minutes throughout the office until I touched a hidden item hidden in the drawer space by sheer luck. I removed the tape binding the key to the drawer and opened the hidden compartment with it, revealing stairs that led us to a lab. Inside it was a safe that was neatly locked with a password. The group and I looked throughout the room for anything we can find but ended up with nothing except for useless books about science and chemistry and some doctor books that I did not care to read. Armin examined the lock on the safe and tried to see if he can open it. After a few minutes of trying many ways to open the thing, Armin gave up. I sighed and told him to step back before punching the safe and tearing it open.

"Gently, you monster! You might break whatever's in there!" My startled blonde friend yelled.

"Relax, Armin. We got it open and without a scratch on whatever's inside. Not that a bunch of liquids in vials matter to me anyway. My punch was very precise and had thought behind it."

"Thought? You?! Come on! What if these vials were what Annie is after?" Armin said while examining a box filled with them. "What if this is the Titan serum that her father hid?"

"None of them have any labels," I stated. "This is obviously to hide what they are. There is no doubt about it. This is the thing we're looking for. I suggest we take some with us."

"Why not all of it?" Levi asked.

"Do we have a place to store all of these? No. I say we take as many as we can and destroy the rest," I suggested to which Armin nodded.

"Not so fast, trespassers!" A voice spoke from the entrance. We turned behind us to see a guy with red hair standing in front of the entrance. He appeared to be around my age and was an inch or two shorter than me.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"I work for the owner of this mansion and you're a bunch of trespassers. I cannot let titan-shifters like you take our stash and leave, can I?" The man stated.

"Titan-Shifters?" Armin asked.

"Don't try to play dumb with me! I can tell by your intent to steal the serum that you know what you're doing. And judging by how you broke the safe, one of you is no ordinary human. Now the real question is: Which one of you is the shifter?"

"So your boss is Mr. Leonhardt?" I asked the redhead teenager. "This means that you might have the answers that we seek. Tell us what we want and we won't have to make this a bloody situation."

"Oh, really? You really believe I'm just gonna tell you what you want and let you go on your merry way?!" He asked.

"Of course not. I just want to make sure you don't say that we didn't tell you afterward,"

The grunt leaped at us and tried to punch me. I punched his fist, sending a shockwave around the room and canceling his attack. I started punching him and watched as he dodged my attacks with ease before punching me in the face. I recovered and punched him back before dodging his fist and kicking him in the stomach. He pulled out a metal baton and swung it in my direction, forcing me to dodge his quick and agile attacks. I grabbed his weapon and shoved it to the side before striking him with a fist that he blocked. I then blocked the kick he struck me in retaliation. I charged my fist and punched him in the chest, sending him flying to the closest wall before following after Armin and Levi. The assailant ran after us in an attempt to catch us, but we managed to put some distance between him and us. I stopped running and told Armin Levi to escape as I bought them time by fighting the hired attacker.

"You're still here?" He asked.

"I just wanted to finish you off. Now, let's get this over with!" I replied before he rushed at me and tried to punch my face, only for me to parry his fist with my arm and attack him with a knee to the stomach. I watched as he healed from his injuries and pulled out his baton once again. I swung his weapon at me and hit my left leg after a few missed attempts. The hit was so strong that I fell on one knee and tried to recover.

"I... I don't know about these powers, but they sure are useful," I stated.

"So you're new to this whole titan thing, huh?" He asked. "When did you get injected?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," I replied honestly before fully recovering and getting back on my feet.

"So you were either injected with the titan serum without knowing it, or you're lying to me. Either way, you won't be able to get out of here alive," He replied before trying to hit me with the baton, only to end up receiving a fistful of rage.

"WHAT THE-" He exclaimed before being hit again and again. "How can you move this fast?!"

"I'm not sure," I replied before grabbing his face and hitting him with my volley of fists and shouting: "TATATATATATATATATATATATATAKAAAIIII"

The assailant fell on the ground and tried to catch his breath. I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and started asking the questions, starting with: "Who is your boss?"

"I-It's Leonhardt! The man who owns this mansion!"

"Did his daughter come here by any chance?" I asked.

"N-Not recently, no! They both disappeared one day. H-His daughter got back to the united states and the boss was nowhere to be found!" The assailant replied.

"What was she doing here?" I asked as I shook him by his collar.

"I-I don't know!" He replied, forcing me to hold a fist over his head. "I-I'm not lying to ya! She came here saying she wanted to be with her dad or something and left after having a fight with him and Adrian Meyers, whom I'm sure you know about! I wasn't here at the time so I don't know the details, man!"

"What are these titan serum things?" I asked the man held by his collar.

"They give you powers beyond your imagination! I'm not a scientist myself, so I don't know! I just got it after swearing loyalty to the boss. He said that it would kill us after thirteen years, but if we helped him, we might be able to make a more powerful serum that cancels the side effects of the one that's currently in my blood. I don't know much beyond that."

"You've been a big help," I said before knocking the grunt unconscious and leaving him inside the house to keep him safe from the cold weather before leaving the premises and catching up with Armin and Levi in our hotel room.

"Yo!" I called as I entered the room. "I'm back!"

"Eren!" Levi exclaimed as he saw me. "How'd it go?"

"I knocked him out cold and got what we need. Now, Armin? Can you check the messages to see if what I learned matches up?" I asked before Armin opened his laptop.

There, I started to compare the messages with what the assailant told me and got shocked when we discovered that what he said was indeed true, or at least could be very likely. Annie's texts show that she was afraid for her life and was taking a big risk by coming here. Adrian was also employed by her father and was with her at her time in Ukraine, leaving me to speculate about how the situations unfolded.

"Could she have come to her father's residence, stole from him, and then left?" Levi asked.

"Highly likely," I replied.

"It is also implied that she might have not wanted to participate in this, but whoever this person is might've persuaded her somehow," Armin added. "That guy back there told you that anyone injected with the serum will die in thirteen years, correct?"

I sighed and nodded my head to confirm what he asked before grabbing a bottle of soda and drinking it. I sat on the bed and began contemplating to myself whether or not Annie is hiding something else from me. She hid the fact that she traveled to Europe and never told me after the fact. I had to come here myself to figure out just part of the truth. We truly believe that there are more secrets to be uncovered. Armin got off the chair he sat on and walked to the door.

"Come on, guys! Let's go see what's to be seen!" Armin said before opening the door. I thought that I needed to take my mind off things and followed the blonde boy with Levi.

We traveled around town and took pictures of the sights with a camera that Levi brought from home and tried foods from many different restaurants while enjoying our time there. Throughout the entire day, I kept receiving messages from people asking me where I am or why I did not respond to phone calls or messages. I informed everyone that I was pretty busy and cannot take or make calls, convincing nearly everyone except for Annie who constantly asked for my whereabouts. I was forced to cut the conversation short and disable my internet connection.

"She can't leave you at peace, huh?" Armin asked.

"So hypocritical of her, considering she was the one who left here without telling anyone," Levi asked as he sipped some of the tea he ordered.

"She doesn't feel well," I replied.

"Mmm yes," Levi replied.

"Excuse me?" I asked the man who doubted me.

"Look, she didn't tell you that she was going, yes?" He asked. "You had to find that out for yourself. If I remember correctly, we found out that she came to this place and left after some shenanigans. Later. a mysterious guy appears and claims to know her while bringing a killer squad to hunt her down. We find out that this guy that wants her dead was here with her. This is way too suspicious. There is obviously some big secret that we need to figure out before anyone catches onto us, especially her."

"We need someone who is well-versed in science and willing to help us," Armin stated. "If these titan serums hold powerful properties, then we should know what to do with them and where we can find more."

"That's right. We can't have them fall into enemy hands, especially after seeing what they can do," I stated. "What did you do with the rest? The ones that you couldn't carry?"

"Well, Levi and I carried as much as possible. The ones that we couldn't carry, well, Levi kicked them into oblivion. I'm sure there are not any left," Armin answered.

"Good. I suggest we visit Hange after returning home. She's the only scientist that we know," I stated. "Besides, she'd be more than willing to help us."

"That's a great idea!" Armin replied.

After five days of touring the area and having supreme amounts of fun, we returned home with the hidden vials of titan serum and headed over to Hange's house without telling a single soul. We walked up to the door and rang the doorbell and watched as Hange opened the door a moment afterward. The excitement on her face was very unsettling and took us by surprise.

"EREN!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Stop yelling, you mentally deranged, psychopath!" Levi yelled at her.

"Ah! Like father, like son! It's been too long, young Levi Jr!" Hange stated.

"U-Uh, miss Hange, can you could do us a favor and help us with these?" Armin showed her the vials which sparked her interest immediately. We entered her house and proceeded down the stairs to the basement where she had an advanced laboratory with expensive scientific equipment.

Armin gawked at the stuff around him and admired the entire space while Levi and I proceeded to go with the crazy scientist and gave her the vials. Once we mentioned the name 'Titan Serum,' the enthusiastic look on her face vanished almost immediately and got replaced by a serious stare that showed horror and shock.

"How... How did you find this?" She asked.

"At a mansion in Ukraine. There were many more, but we destroyed them," I immediately replied once I realized that she knew about this serum and possibly had bad experiences with it.

"Ukraine?! You went to Ukraine?" She asked.

"Yes, but please keep it a secret," I replied. "We had our own business to take care of and happened to stumble upon these. They were in a mansion belonging to Annie's father. A henchman of his told me that they kill their users in thirteen years, correct?"

"They do," She answered immediately. "Does Annie have anything to do with any of this?"

"Well, to be honest with you, I'm not sure. We went to Ukraine to discover why she went there in secret. We found her father's place and stumbled upon these things in a hidden lab. That's all we know about them," I stated.

"Alright..." Hange sighed. "I'll explain what I know."

Hangi sat us three down in her living room after making us some chocolate drinks and started telling us everything she knows about the titan serum and the power it holds.

"This thing's origins are unknown, but its power is very immense. It can turn people into giant humanoid creatures that are called 'Titans' and gives them regenerative abilities. That's the basic thing that this serum does. It drastically decreases the consumer's lifespan for unknown reasons, however. I work for an organization that aims to find all these serums and stop them from being produced while trying to gather as much of it as possible to reverse-engineer it and create an antidote that nullifies its effects and prevents its users from dying. It's a very dangerous substance that can cause catastrophic results if tampered with or consumed incorrectly. That's why anyone who ever used it had to have it injected. Otherwise, the titan transformation would be messy and create an uncontrollable mindless beast that roams around and destroys everything. I'll have someone from our organization contact you. Since you've been exposed to this entire ordeal, we have no chance but to ask your help. Promise you'll keep this a secret?"

"I have no reason to tell anyone. It would be dangerous to tell anyone, as well. I promise not to tell a soul," I stated. Levi and Armin both promised the same thing.

"Thank you, boys," She said before sighing. "Now, if you find more of this stuff, you bring it to me, alright?"

"Alright. O-Oh. I forgot to mention this. The henchman that attacked us told me that they were trying to evolve it into a serum that can grant its users powers without the shortened lifespan side-effect. I'm not sure if this helps or not," I stated.

"They were what?!" Hange asked.

"At least that's what he told me. I'm not sure if they succeeded before Annie's father disappeared. I'm strongly inclined to believe that they did not. I did not find anything that suggests that they did," I explained.

"Any idea where he could have gone?" She asked.

"Not at all. He seemed to have left without telling his men," I informed.

"If anyone should know, it's Annie," She stated. I sighed knowing that she plans on getting the information out of her one way or another, which may put her in danger. However, she said: "Can you do it?"

"Huh?"

"Can you get her to tell you?" She asked.

"You... You want me to ask her? I don't think she'd tell me," I replied.

"She did board a private jet and leave, after all," Armin added.

I took a sip from my drink and scrolled through the text messages once more. My mind got overwhelmed with questions that needed answers. I knew that the only one who can give me what I want intends to take the answers to her grave and would not tell a soul. If I have to find out, I have to get in her shoes and retrace her steps, but that would not be an easy task to perform. The texts provide some clues to begin, but Annie would be on my tail the second she senses something fishy. "Man, this situation is getting very complicated. I'm not the type of person to make a long and elaborate plan like this," I stated to the individuals around me. "It's gonna be hard enough to know where to start, let alone try not to get caught."

"That's why we're with you, Eren!" Armin exclaimed as he got excited.

"Huh?"

"Yeah! We'll help you with your spy adventure and find out the hidden secrets of your girlfriend!" Levi exclaimed.

"You three did get roped into this together, after all," Hange reminded us. "And besides, Eren can't do this by his lonesome. He'll need a group of friends behind him."

"Then that settles it. We'll do this and uncover whatever secrets that Annie may have hidden!" I replied.

We left the scientist's house feeling pretty excited to go on an adventure that might get us killed or mentally scarred for life. Not half an hour later, we got text messages on our phones stating that we should head to my house and wait for a black car with tinted windows to arrive and take us somewhere. We headed to my place and waited in the living room for about an hour. Then, we received a text that the car arrived. When we headed outside, we spotted a car with the exact details that were described to us. I swallowed my saliva, anxious as to what would happen. The closer I got to the car with the group, the more I felt my heart pound in anticipation of a dreadful outcome. Before I opened the door, I had one second of doubt where I paused and began thinking to myself whether it's really worth it or not. Armin placed a hand on my shoulder to comfort me.

"Come on, dude. It's not like there's any going back for any of us," Levi stated. I sighed and opened the door, Levi and Armin followed and entered the car after me.

"Hello, gentlemen," A man greeted us.

"Who are you?" I asked immediately, not giving anyone time to speak.

"Whoa, whoa, there, pal! There's nothing to be afraid of. Attacking you or hurting you in any way, shape, or form would be a terrible mistake on our part. We're not your enemies," He stated.

"Says the guy talking to us from a dark limo after messaging us with an unknown number," I replied.

"Hey, hey! I wasn't the one who messaged you!" He stated. Then he sighed and said: "My name is Eld Jinn. I was given orders to come here and collect you three."

"Orders?" I asked. "Orders from who?"

"You'll see when we arrive," He answered.

He did not answer this question but was willing to answer any other questions, including why we were brought inside a limo and getting taken to a place we don't know. That was because they are not sure that this town is completely safe from titan shifters. We were also messaged in secret because having anyone contact us would put us and them in great danger. He also stated that Hange is the one who got the organization involved in bringing us to them after we brought her the titan vials. It was the least she could do to repay us for risking our lives and bringing her the stuff. And since we involved ourselves in this situation, we have no choice but to join them. Otherwise, we'd be risking our lives and putting ourselves under the threat of constant attack by titan shifters. We arrived an hour or so later to a remote location far from the town where we found ourselves in front of a cabin in the woods near a lake.

We entered the building and entered the living room where a somewhat familiar man sat on a sofa alongside two other people. I looked at Armin to see him silent and maintaining his composure while Levi was quite the opposite. He bore a shocked expression, seeing as he knew the person sitting on the sofa. They made eye contact and Levi shot the man a deadly glare that made me more scared of him than these shady people.

"Sit down," The man said to us. We took a seat on the sofa directly in front of the man.

"I'd introduce myself, but Levi here might have told you about me already," The man stated, pointing at my friend.

"No, he has not," I answered.

"I see. Levi junior, why don't you tell them who I am?"

"Eren, this man over here is my father..." Levi revealed.

"What?!" I exclaimed with Armin gasping.

"Indeed," The man said. "I am Levi's father. Levi Ackerman senior."
