"Eren?" Mikasa said in shock as she saw him standing just a few feet behind them. She didn't even hear him walking by until he spoke. "You're pregnant?" Fear set in as she realized what he'd just asked her.

"Eren it's not what you think." She said standing up from where she was just sitting.

"Not what I think?" He asked in disbelief. "Mikasa, you just said that you were pregnant. What do you mean it's not what I think?"

"Eren, let me explain. I was going to tell you. I-I just didn't know how to." She says stopping a few feet from him.

"Didn't know how to tell me?" He asked raising his voice. " Mikasa all you had to say was that you're pregnant. I would have listened to you." The anger he was feeling now showing on his expression.

"Eren, calm down." Armin says getting up from his position.

"Calm down? Armin, how would you feel if it were Annie telling you that she's pregnant? Scratch that, telling me instead of telling you." He said, moving towards him.

The anger in his eyes as he stood in front of his best friend, staring him down as he waited for an answer.

"I don't know." Armin sighed looking away.

"Exactly you don't know, because it's not you in this position, I am!" He said with his voice raised.

"Mikasa, why wouldn't you just tell me?" Eren asked as he turned back to face her, a look of hurt now evident in his eye.

Mikasa saw this as she stepped closer to him grabbing his face in the palm of her hands, to reassure him of the pain she knew he must've been feeling.

"Eren, I didn't know what to say. I didn't want you to feel like I was messing up your future. I guess I was just afraid that you wouldn't want anything to do with it or me once I told you." She said.

"Mikasa, it took the two of us to make this baby. So it'll take the two of us to figure out what to do. Why do you think you're messing up my future?" He asked. But she didn't answer, she just turned away as tears began to fall from her eyes.

He was hurt that Mikasa didn't think she could tell him and confided in someone else. It wasn't a problem that it was Armin who she was telling, he was just hurt that he wasn't the first to know. He felt as if she didn't trust him. That she thought he would start acting different and want nothing to do with her. He was hurt that she thought he could be so cruel and that much of a monster to leave her in a time like this.

He grabbed her wrist pulling her to back to him.

" Mikasa, I wouldn't do that. Not to you." 

He placed his hand on her check trying to direct her attention back to him. 

"You know that out of all people, I wouldn't leave you to deal with this alone. I love you." 

She looked back at him and saw that his words were genuine. Without thinking, she grabbed his face and smashed her lips onto his. He was shocked to say the least, but kissed her back. Eren wrapped his arms around her bringer her closer to him. 

They broke apart, looking each other in the eye. 

"As long as I have you, I don't care about my future." He said.
