Chapter Nine
I don't regret leaving

3rd person pov

this was it, the all valley. where it all began or it all ended. blake decided that she wasn't going to compete, she wanted to stand on the side and support the people she loved. she knew that supporting them was the best thing she could do and that's all she wanted to do.

"you know i wish that you were competing," hawk said as they sat there together but she shook her head and shrugged

"I'm glad that I'm not, i spent too much time with cobra kai. competing would be the worse possible thing i could ever do to them right now" she told him but he shook his head and laughed.

"pretty sure when you left and decided that you didn't want to be apart of them anymore was the worst possible thing you could do to them" he exclaimed and she shoved his shoulder with a laugh and he laughed too.

"okay asshole, you know what i mean. i want to be supporting you from the sidelines and cheering you on from the sidelines. i don't want to be on the mat doing what i usually do" she stated and he nodded as he leaned forward and he kissed the girls forehead

"i know what you mean b" he said to her and she smiled at him as he smiled back.

"you need to go get ready, i'll be cheering you on from out there" she told him and she kissed his cheek before she got up and she walked out into the crowd. she sat down and that's when she heard daryl

"ladies and gentlemen, you've been waiting a long time , but we're finally here. dojos from all across the valley have been training for a year for their shot at glory. you ready to meet em? all right" he said and the dojos began to walk out. blake sat with miguel's mom and grandma as they cheered for miyagi do

"whatever happens right mija?" carmen asked and blake nodded her head with a smile as she looked at hawk. he waved at her and she waved back before cobra kai walked out and blake looked down . she didn't do it fast enough as she made eye contact with tory and then robby.

they narrowed their eyes at her and she sighed and shook her head. she looked at carmen

"go do your little speech thing" she said and blake nodded as she ran off the stairs and down to them. she didn't listen to what daryl said as she walked over to miyagi do and daniel smiled

"oh blake you're here, thank god. wanna help me with this pep talk?" he asked and she nodded.

"aren't you cobra kai? shouldn't you be over there?" chris said and blake shook her head

"no i shouldn't , i left and i don't regret leaving. look whatever happens out there just know that you guys have fought long and hard for the opportunity to be here with everyone else. even if you dont win, you still tried and you still did your best" she told them and sam smiled at the girl as hawk did the same and daniel looked at her proudly

"now daniel you may proceed with your speech" she told him and she walked over to eli as she stood with him and listened to what daniel said to them. she felt someone staring and she looked over to see robby and tory staring at the girl.

"ignore them, they're just mad they lost you" hawk said and she laughed as she nudged her shoulder with his and they both smiled. demetri looked at them and smiled again.

"blake" she heard and she looked over to see tory. she felt hawk grab her hand but she looked at him and nodded

"i'll be okay" she told him and he nodded as she walked away from him and to tory.

"so this what you do now? you see what we did to hawk for you and you leave us for him?" she asked and blake snapped

"i never asked you to do that. i told you i could handle it myself, i could do it myself but you guys went too far yet again. so yes your i left you for him because he has made mistakes but at least he didn't do a five on one and take away something that made you who you are" blake said and she walked back to the bleachers. she didn't turn around to see the girl , she sat down and watched as demetri went up first and then it went from there.

"that's my boy" she said as she smiled at him. he felt her watching as then sam went up afterwards and she sighed. she was prepared for whatever the girl needed to do.

it was going good really good until hawk had to do the top board and he missed. he searched tor blakes eyes in the crowd and she nodded encouragingly as he walked back with the others.

she watched from far away as far as she could. she hated this, not fighting, not being on the mat but she knew it was for the better. she knew that whatever happened, she would be able to support him and not be bad about her lose.

she couldn't be mad about something she never had. she didn't care about anything else but hawk in that moment and sure they weren't together but she didn't care. she couldn't when she knew her feelings and she knew that she loved him.

it was now the qualifying matches and she still sat there with the others, waiting and watching. she didn't know who to watch anymore, it all felt so weird to not be up there doing this with him.

"i have to go do something" she said and she ran down there to the others and walked over to daniel

"robby taught them every single miyagi do move , every single one. i didn't if i should say anything or what to say but i know that you should know" she told him and he sighed

"so what do we do?" he asked her and she sighed.

"i think i know exactly what you need to do" she stated and he sighed

"they go low, we go lower?" daniel questioned

"it's the only way" she told him and he nodded. she looked at him as he walked up to robby . she looked over to see kyler talking to hawk and she sighed

"hey ky, talking shit doesn't make you cool it just makes you look like a bitch" she called and he scoffed as he walked off and hawk looked at her

"you didn't have to do that" he said and she sighed

"but i did. he's an asshole and you needs to know that. you've always been more then him" she said and he looked into her eyes and leaned in. he kissed her and she smiled as she kissed him back

"FINALLY" demetri said and they both laughed as they pulled away and she nodded

"go win that fight" she stated and he nodded as he climbed onto the mat. she looked at demetri and he high-fives her as she high-fived him back and they watched closely. hawk won fast and she smiled as she cheered for join and he looked at her.

sam went up after him and it didn't go too well during the first round but sam took a quick look at daniel, johnny and blake. they all nodded as sam did what she had to. she won and then she bowed as she got off the mat.

blake got tired of standing there so she got up and walked out of the room as she heard someone clear their throat and she turned to see robby

"you aren't fighting" he said and she nodded

"i didn't feel the need to" she stated and he sighed

"you don't regret leaving us" he exclaimed and she nodded and went to speak before she heard someone's groans and they looked out to see miguel on the ground and hawk standing there

"oh shit" she said

the worse that could happen maybe just happened

they're my children and i love them more then anything right now. also i know I'm not publishing them all at once but i wrote the first 8 chapters in one day on a sunday because i couldn't do anything else and i felt so bad for leaving this book in the dust but no we're here so its okay.
