that doesn't mean i don't miss him and who he used to be

3rd person pov

she didn't want to win this way, she thought it was wrong. learning their techniques, she didn't want to do that to demetri or Miguel or hell even Eli. she knew that maybe they were doing the same things but it was different. way different but she knew that to stay in the dojo, she had to do this and she had to work with them.

"okay whats on your mind heart? you're not in the game" she heard and she turned to see tory looking at her in worry.

"nothing tory, i promise" she said and tory scoffed as she shook his head

"its about eli again isn't it? he left you blake, you know that" tory said and blake scoffed.

"don't you think i know that tory? that doesn't mean i don't miss him and who he used to be" she stated and tory scoffed as robby walked over and looked at the girls. he saw that same fire in the girls eyes that he had seen before. he knew that blake had been more enraged lately and he didn't know what to do.

"blake come up here and demonstrate what I've been showing you" robby called and she stepped forward as he began to make the calls and she did what she was told. she knew that he brought her out there to show the others what her anger truly was but she didn't care.

"okay blake now show me what kreese taught you" he exclaimed and she began to hit him as he fought her back. he got her pinned to the ground and looked in her eyes.

"breathe" he whispered and she nodded as he stood up and reached his hand out. she grabbed his hand and walked away from the others as she walked to the back and looked at her phone. she swiped through the pictures and then she looked up as she felt someone staring at her and she sighed

"whats up keene?" she asked and he walked over and sat with her. he grabbed her hand and they looked at them. they weren't siblings but they felt like it. she felt like she could trust him with anything and everything

"is this about eli? is that why you're so mad?" he asked and she shrugged as she looked at the ground and sighed. he sighed with her and then looked her in the eyes.

"i get it you know but this is the only way to win. he shouldn't have ditched you and he shouldn't have hurt you the way he did but there is nothing you can do now but fight against him and make him realize the truth about you" he told her and she sighed

"and whats the truth? that i was in love with a guy who left me behind and treated me like shit. i loved him robby, more then i should. so whats the truth about me because right now i have absolutely no idea what it is. i don't even know who i am anymore" she stated and he nodded as he ran his thumb over the back of her hand in some sort of comfort but it wasn't comforting.

"during the fight, what was the last thing he said to you?" he asked and she looked him in the eyes as she remembered it

there she stood with the others as she looked at sam and tory but she felt bad. she didn't know what to do, she didn't want to fight anymore and yet on the other hand, how had the others forgiven hawk so fast? how had they let go of what happened so quickly because she couldn't. blake couldn't forget it but maybe that was because she was in love with him and she didn't want to admit that. she didn't want to admit that she was in love with her best friend and yet it was hard to not admit it.

"blake make your decision" she heard as tory went to leave and she looked at the girl before she looked at Miguel, sam , demetri and hawk.

"blake come on, you know the choice to make" demetri said and she looked at him before hawk looked at her and she made eye contact with him

"I'm sorry blake. i know the truth now, please" eli told her and she nodded before she turned to tory and wrapped her arm around the girl.

"lets go t" she said and she led tory out of the room. she didn't bother to look back and see the look of betrayal on the others faces. they now knew how she felt when she saw that they had forgiven him so fast.

how could they? she didn't know how they could do but she didn't care. no she had made her decision and they had made theirs

"he apologized?" robby asked and she nodded and shrugged

"it didn't feel right though. i mean how could they forgive him so fast after what he did to me, to demetri to the others. i don't get it, it didn't make sense to me and there was nothing i could do." she explained and he nodded

"you deserve better then that , you know?" he told her and she sighed. she had never heard that from someone before, she knew that she deserved better. she just wasnt prepared to hear it when she needed to hear it the most.

"i know, i just wish someone would have told me that before i let myself go through what i did with him. it was too much for me" she said and robby nodded as they sat there together for the rest of day.

if only she knew that telling him this would only make everything worse.
