1: i know why you did leave
Chapter One
i know why you did leave
3rd person pov
blake couldn't tell you where it began. maybe it was when eli became hawk, maybe it was when everything changed. maybe it was when hawk broke Demetris arm or maybe it was when robby began to stay with blake after he did what he did and blake wanted to help him. she wanted to save someone because she couldn't save herself. some would say that blake heartley had a hero complex , others would say she didn't want someone to end up like the others.
so there blake was in cobra kai with the rest of the others, she stared at tory who looked back at her and smiled softly. the two girls had formed some sort of friendship after blake found out about torys home life and tory found out about what blake had gone through. they formed an alliance, blake hadn't told her about the robby part, she didn't want to. she couldn't tell anyone that and until robby was ready, she wouldn't. she wouldn't tell anyone the truth, it would rat her and him out.
Robby and Blake were best friends but over time, robby felt bad and like he was using blake for her home, food and her care so one night, he packed up , left a note and moved away. she was mad but she knew why he did it and she didn't hate him for it. it was understandable why he did it.
she stood in the middle of the dojo until she heard someone clear their voice and she turned to see robby looking at her and she sighed.
"what do you need keene?" she asked and he shrugged
"i just wanted to check on you, i didn't mean to leave without saying goodbye" he exclaimed and she nodded
"its okay robby i know why you did leave, i understand" she spoke and she looked at the others before she walked away. she changed in the other room and then she grabbed her stuff as she left the dojo. she didn't look behind, if she did she would ask why he left.
"ya know i didn't think you would actually join them but i guess i was wrong" she heard and she turned to see eli standing there looking at her.
"i could say the same thing to you but i won't. you and me aren't the same eli and you know that" she exclaimed and she tightened her bag on her shoulder and she looked him in his eyes.
"blake come on, this isn't what i wanted" he tried and she shrugged as she walked to her car and unlocked it. she threw her bag into the backseat and then she turned as she leaned against the side of the car.
"maybe its not what you wanted but you caused this. if you hadn't joined and if you hadn't changed if you had just thought everything through, we wouldn't be here" she stated and he scoffed
"and what exactly are you doing right now? you're not thinking this through blake and you know that too, you need to think because i didn't and we know what happened. when will you forgive me?" he asked and she opened her car door as she got in the car and closed the door. she looked out of the window at him as she started the car and shrugged.
"when you think before doing these types of things" she spoke and she drove out of the parking lot and she drove home. he was right. she knew he was right, he had hurt them because he didn't think and he wouldn't think. he didn't want to be bullied or treated badly but that didn't change.
when she got home, she locked up her car and walked inside. her mom and dad weren't home and she knew that even if they were, they wouldn't care about where she was or what she had done. she knew that they didn't give a single fuck about her life anymore and it was almost like they never did.
"hey v" she said to her cat who rubbed against her leg and she picked her up. she ran her hand over her head and then she walked upstairs with her. venus jumped on blakes bed as blake walked to the desk and cleaned up. she stared at the picture of her , demetri and eli on her desk. she had never gotten rid of it and she never could. it was too hard for her to get rid of it.
she didn't want to act like nothing happened because it did. a lot had happened and she knew that nothing would ever be the same . she didn't want it to be the same but she couldn't deny the fact that she missed them and their group. she missed when it was just them, she missed when there was no dojos and no fights and no pain but it wasn't going to go back to that and she knew that it wouldn't.
she laid on her bed as she stared at the ceiling and waited for something. something to tell her that what she was doing was right, that she wasn't in the wrong. she knew she was, she knew that she was becoming what she hated but she didn't care. she liked this die of her, the angry side. the one who didn't give a single fuck at all.
she fell asleep soon after and she dreamed about the perfect world. where it was normal and back to the way it was. she missed it more then anything but it wasn't coming back. she didn't want to do that.
she woke up the next day and she left the house as she went to the dojo when she walked in. she saw robby standing there and then the others followed in closely behind her.
"sensei kreese isn't back yet so I'm gonna get you guys warmed up" robby said as he looked at blake who looked at the ground and then she felt someone grab her hand. she looked back to see it was tory. the two girls had an odd friendship to say the least, everyone knew that the two had done things together. more things then they probably should have, everyone knew that but they didn't say it.
"I'm staying out of this" blake stated and she walked away and out of the situation as she watched them begin to fight robby. she sighed as she ran her hand through her hair and she looked at the ceiling. she waited for it to be over.
"a deal is a deal, ill go" robby said and he went to leave but tory stopped him
"no , stay" she called and he turned to blake and she nodded. she had seen this before and she didn't like it but she couldn't do anything about it. she wouldn't do anything about it.
she was scared for the future to say the least.
-ABBYS NOTES-
the amount of angst that exists in this book hurts me because my girl blake deserves better then this and we all know it.
