•JACKS POV• (epilogue)

"Tempy, let's go!" I called out to her as I stood out on the porch of our hidden cabin.

"Alright, alright! I'm coming!" she yelled back as she lumbered out on the porch with her crutches. Her face was framed by her curly black hair and her eyes were a light blue.

I took her shoulder and helped her down the stairs, and halfway down we tripped and toppled on top of one another. I ended up on top of her by the time we hit the bottom with a grunt.

She started blushing profusely and I smirked, I leaned down and kissed her nose.

"Ready to go on that picnic?" I asked.

"Ready when you are." She replied with a smile.
