CH. 27 (Elle)

When I woke up Emmett brought me downstairs, he refused to let me walk on my own.

All of our family and friends where in the sitting room now.

Kate nearly knocked me over as she hugged me causing Emmett to growl.

"Oh calm down Daddy-O, I'm just excited to be an Auntie." Kate said cooly.

When she released me Cole found me and put his hand on my tummy.

"I promise to always protect your beautiful children." He said looking first to Emmett and then to me.

Emmett and I both smiled and thanked him.

Bella was next, she was just as excited as Alice and Kate.

"We can finally bond!" She said excitedly. "If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to talk to me. I'll be there with you every step of the way." She said and hugged me.

I was so anxious that Bella and I would finally be close, I knew Emmett would love that.

"Oh my gosh, I need to go shopping." Alice said.

We all laughed.

"But Alice, how are we gonna start shopping if we don't even know what they're having?" Kate asked.

Edward gasped.

We all looked to him, "she can see them, she can see their futures." He said in wonder.

We all looked to Alice and she just smirked.

"Would you like to know?" She asked Emmett and I. I looked at Emmett and he just smiled his huge dimpled smile.

"Yes" I said in an excited whisper.

"You are going to give birth to two beautiful and healthy baby...BOYS."

My heart filled with joy and Emmett kissed me deeply, all around me everyone was just as excited but I couldn't bring myself to pay attention, I was too wrapped up In My husbands love.

After her little announcement Carlisle and Edward pulled Alice to the side to talk with her.

Apparently Alice couldn't and still can't see Renesme's future.

"Remember Nahuel, how he was more vampire than his sisters, he produced venom an had the ability to turn humans." Alice said. "Maybe the same is for Emmett and Elle's babies, and if so maybe that's why I can see them, because they're more like me than Nessie is."

Edward looked angry.

Alice rolled her eyes and explained.

"I love my niece, but she is more human than vampire and I think the babies are more vampire than human." She said, Edward calmed a bit.

"Baby, the boys are thirsty." I said.

Not only did Emmett get up to go get the blood, but the entire house seemed to shift.

Everyone laughed and eventually Carlisle went and brought me my mug.

As I drank Carlisle spoke. "Now Elle honey, I have decided to give you animal blood, that way your children will be accustomed to that type of blood, I remember when we had to ween Renesme off of human. Blood, it wasn't exactly the easiest of things." Carlisle announced.

Renesme blushed a bit, "sorry Grandpa" she said.

"Don't be my beauty, it wasn't your fault." He said kissing her hair.

I drank another mug and then Alice wanted to go shopping.

"And where do you think your going?" Emmett asked.

"I am going shopping with the girls." I said.

He shook his head, "Carlisle said nothing strenuous."

"Walking isn't strenuous." I countered.

"Emmett she's fully capable of going shopping just as long as she can listen to her body. Eat when you're hungry. Sit down If your tired. And drink if you're thirsty."

I nodded.

"Fine, I'm coming with you." Emmett declared.

None of us had a problem with him going, and soon we were off. We drove into a bigger city and once we got there I was glad we had taken seperate vehicles.

Alice began doing all sorts of damage buying this and that.

Anything she couldn't find she promised herself she would order online later.

I was glad Emmett came with us, he was very attentive.

He had a huge styrofoam cup filled with animal blood for me just in case.

Luckily from what I had found out earlier, I can go without drinking blood for a few hours.

After we all had our fill of shopping, we all headed back.

Emmett stopped at a gas station and heated up my blood for me.

I gladly drank the blood while he drove us home.

"So what are we going to do when the babies come?" I asked. "Are we going to live with your parents forever?"

"Well I do like staying near them for Esme's sake, but I want us to have our own home." He informed me.

"Well I have my house plus your plot of land you purchased for our magical pond." I said.

He nodded.

"I'm sure we can get an architect and a contractor and we could have a house built."

"Babe, if you want I will build you a house with my bare hands." He said smiling my favorite dimpled smile.

"Can you?" I asked.

"Of course I can, I've built a lot of the houses we've lived in, in the past...Jasper and I built the lake house Edward and Bella stay in. Look, sit Down with Esme and she'll sketch out a blueprint of what you want and then I'll get to work." He said as he grabbed my hand.

"Thank you babyl

, you are too good for me." I said passionately.

"Babe, I'd give you the moon if I could, but a house is more reasonable." He said as he kissed my hand and continued driving into the night.

About twenty minutes later we pulled back up to the house.

The men came and unloaded the vehicles.

Alice graciously stored everything in Emmett's closet for the time being and Emmett and I went to find Esme to talk about a house.

The days seemed to pass quickly, I ate, slept, And drank, Emmett would take me walking around the big lake so I could get fresh air and my legs wouldn't get too stiff

My belly was growing bigger and bigger by the day.

Emmett, Cole, Maks, and Jasper spent a lot of time working on the new house.

Carlisle spent his days at work and then monitoring me at night.

And all of the women kept me company, waiting on me for anything and everything.

Emmett and the guys had decided to take a break, he sat on the sofa and pulled my huge body onto his lap effortlessly.

He kissed my temple and rubbed my tummy lovingly.

Something that he had grown accustomed to.

"I love you" he whispered into my ears.

I laid back into his chest and whispered back "I love you."

I had decided to go forward with Dads plans of turning his business into a veterinary office, and Alphonse and Denise were running it while I couldn't.

Walking became a little bit of a struggle and soon enough Carlisle had me bedridden.

I grew bored being in bed all day, so Kate, Alice, or Emmett would pick me up and carry me all around the house and even outside for a glimpse at the sun and feel of cool air on my face, when they brought me back in Bella would help me excessive my legs and then Emmett and I would enjoy a nice warm bath at night.

Carlisle had told the school I was severely sick and had to go out of state for medical treatment.

So that bought some time from having to go to school but Edward and Tanya taught me so I wouldn't fall behind and I would be able to graduate.

It was so weird having one on one time with teachers, I just understand everything so much better than if I was in school.

"Elle I think you might actually be ahead of your class now" Tanya joked after she graded a test she had given me.

I smiled, "well you and Edward have been amazing teachers." I said.

I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but Tanya seemed to be happier.

She chuckled and left quickly. There was a knock on the bedroom door and Bella peeked her head in, "can I come in?" She asked.

I smiled and nodded.

She smiled in return and entered. "I just came to check on you. How are you feeling?" She asked as she strolled over and began running my legs out of habit.

I sighed. "Huge, ugly, miserable, I think these boys take after their father in the strength and rough housing department...Carlisle had to patch me up this morning because one of them almost broke a rib." I confessed as I instinctively placed a hand on my side where a giant bruise was hidden under my dress.

"I'm sorry, I know exactly what that feels like." She said with a sympathetic smile. "Are you anxious?" She asked.

"I am, only 3 more days and my life will be forever changed, in a good way though, there is nothing left for me in this life. I lived with no regrets, and for that I am thankful. I am looking forward to an eternity with my husband and sons, I am truly blessed." I smiled widely.

Bella reached her hand out and brushed my cheek, "yes you are." She smiled as she wiped away stray tears of mine.

"Sorry this pregnancy has been a very emotional one." I confessed.

"There is nothing to be sorry about, pregnancy is a beautiful thing, tears and all." She assured me.

I sighed and looked down, I started rubbing my giant stomach and then looked back up at her. "I'm scared." I admitted. "What if I'm a sucky mom and wife, Emmett will leave me and my kids will hate me." Then I started crying harder.

Bella scooted closer and pulled me into a hug.

"Hush now, Emmett loves you, you silly girl. There isn't anyone else for him in this entire world that could make him nearly as happy as he is with you. As for your kids, they will love you unconditionally, no new mother knows exactly what's she's doing, especially a mother of twins, but you have all of us to help you. Two little boys will be a learning experience for all of us." She said.

I sniffled and cried a little more into Bella's shoulder.

I finally stopped and cleaned my face.

"Thank you Bella, I don't know what I would've done without you during this whole pregnancy."

Bella and I were sitting on the bed feeling the babies move when we heard shouting.

"Leave Now!" Alice yelled.

"Not until I see Emmett!"

"He isn't here and even if he was he wouldn't want to see you, you are nothing to him anymore!" Alice snarled.

I figured out it was Rosalie.

"Oh but his little ginger girlfriend is here, I can hear her scared little heart beating."

Bella looked to me with fear then back at the door.

There was a loud crash like thunder then Rosalie threw the bedroom door open.

Bella jumped up defensively in front of me.

I grabbed my cell phone and pressed talk knowing Emmett was the last person I had called.

"Rosalie, you need to leave." Bella hissed.

"No! I want this bitch dead, she stole my husband from me!" Rosalie growled.

Emmett picked up.

I was terrified but I somehow willed myself to speak "Rosalie's here." I said and the line went dead.

"Why thank you, at least someone has enough sense to know when she is defeated. Emmett will come and we will leave together." Rosalie said like a crazy person.

She began walking around the room, I could see her face and her eyes were glued to mine, Bella was shielding the rest of me with her body.

Then Rosalie faked out Bella and Bella went left while Rosalie went right and she got an eye full of my pregnant glory.

"No" she whispered.

She looked like she was on the verge of unshedable tears, then she screamed a very loud high pitched scream and ran out of the window.

Emmett and the rest of the guys all ran into the bedroom just then.

Emmett ran over to me and had me in his arms against his chest in a matter of seconds.

"Thank you Bella, thank you for keeping my wife and children safe." He said as he kissed me all over my face.

Bella smiled and nodded then she along with the rest of the family left.

Once Emmett's nerves had cooled down he laid me back into the bed and cuddled with me.

"Our house is finished." He said smiling.

I couldn't help but smile back at him. "When can we move in?" I asked.

"Well Esme, Alice, and Kate want to decorate and furnish it first. So I would say tonight. BUT, Carlisle wants you close to him as these next few days are vital, so unfortunately we can't move in until you're a newborn."

I pouted but he kissed my lips and I smiled into our kiss. He let our kiss get deeper and more passionate. My body craved his and he must have smelt my arousal because he pulled away chuckling.

"Babe, stop being naughty."

I pouted once more and he pecked my lips.

"I promise I will make up for it when the babies are delivered."

"So have you thought about any names?" I asked trying to lighten the mood.

"Well I definitely want my brothers names, but as middle names. Edward and Jasper."

"That's sweet, I think they'll like that a lot." I said starting to tear up.

"Babe, what's wrong?" Emmett asked trying to soothe me.

"I wish I was having a daughter so I could name her after my sisters." I confessed.

I knew I shouldn't have cried about that. It's only gonna make Emmett feel bad but being pregnant is a big ol pot of emotional overload. And sometimes it just spills out.

"I'm sorry babe, well what would you name our daughter if we had one?" He asked.

"Katrina as her first name but I don't know about her middle. Of course I would name her after Alice as well but, I don't really like the name Alice it's very bland." I said.

"You know Alice has said the same thing on a few occasions." He said laughing. "You could always use Alice's go to Alias." He said.

"What's that?" I asked sniffling and drying my face.

"Elise, she says it sounds like a more expensive version of Alice." He said shaking his head at his sisters random eccentricness.

"Katrina Elise, that's sounds pretty." I said, Emmett nodded with a smile. "Ok ok, we'll since we're having boys and we have to focus on boy names I have gone through baby name books and have finally found three that I like. But together we'll decide on the two best."

Again Emmett nodded in agreement.

"Killian, Kevin, and Kellen" I said.

"Well that would be great if we were having triples, but since we can pick only two. I really like Kellen" he said with his big dimpled smile.

I nodded and he continued.

"We'll Kevin sounds too close to Kellen for me so how about Kellen and Killian."

"Kellen Jasper, and Killian Edward." I said proudly.

"How Irish." Emmett smirked.

"Very Gaelic." I smiled.

Later that night as requested by Carlisle himself, I was moved into the medical room in the house.

I had an IV put in as well as a blood drip. Emmett left to hunt so that in three more days he would be fully fed.

When he got back an hour later, he didn't leave my side again.

I fell asleep holding onto Emmett's cold hard hand.
