CH. 19 (Emmett)

As we sat in the limo on the way back to the house I could sense Red's nerves.

She kept biting her bottom lip and messing with her fingers frantically.

I laid my hand over hers and she relaxed a little, enough to give me a weak but worried smile.

I stroked her face with my free hand and pecked her soft lips lightly then another on her forehead.

We pulled up to the house and we could all hear Red's heart pounding violently.

I kept hold of her hand and ushered her out of the car.

'She's here', i thought to myself.

Edward looked at me and nodded.

Bella opened the door and we all walked into the sitting room.

Still in her black cloak, there she stood.

Princess Rosalie.

Her smell, her face, nothing was the same to me now. What once turned me on and made me happy was now a sad site.

Sad, because she is and always will be my savior, and I'm seeing my savior destroy herself for the sake of a title.

Renesme moved from Rosalie's arms with a huge smile on her face.

"Look everybody, Aunt Rose is back!" She said with happy exuberance.

"She isn't your aunt anymore Nessie." Jake growled.

Rosalie hissed at him. "She IS my neice!"

"No, you would have to be a part if the family to be considered MY niece's Aunt." Alice said going to stand next to Jake.

"I'm her aunt as long as her PARENTS say I am." She replied angrily.

Edward stayed quiet, but looked upset. Bella on the other hand spoke.

"What are you doing here Rose?" She asked sadly.

Rosalie smiled an evil smile and slowly made her way to me.

"I came back to be with my husband." She said as she ran a razor sharp finger down my chest.

The combination made me growl and back away from her.

I forgot I was holding Red's hand and I unknowingly jerked her back as well.

"Well Em, it seems you've found a distraction." Rosalie said "and HUMAN no less."

"Jealous?" Red asked sharply.

In a heartbeat Rosalie was mere inches away from Red.

As worried as I was in that moment I couldn't help but notice the rather large difference in their height, Elleen while human looked more intimidating with her tall stature.

Everyone in the room took a fighting stance.

Red's jaw was set in an angry manner and she had an eyebrow lifted as she waited for a response.

"Watch your mouth human or you'll be dinner." Rosalie threated.

Hisses spread through out the house.

Red somehow jerked her hand from mine and put them on her hips.

"Look here Vampire Barbie, you don't know who your messing with so it would be smart If you said your peace and left my town instead of standing here making idle threats." Red said defiantly.

Rosalie sneered at Red and snapped Her teeth.

To everyone's surprise Red didn't budge an inch.

But I had reached my limit.

I stepped forward "Kate, take Elle."

Kate listened without hesitation and pulled Elle away from Rosalie and I, if this had to get dirty I wouldn't hesitate to fight and I didn't want Red in the cross fire.

"See blood bag. What I want, I get." Rosalie said taunting Red, and I just let her. "Why would he possibly want you when he can have me?" She asked.

"Rosalie." I said getting her attention.

She turned around giving me a fake sweet smile.

"Rosalie why are you here?" I asked.

"I wanted my husband back."

"You have a Husband. Remember, you left me for Prince Blake and then you two got married." I said "Oh and if I remember correctly, when I went to Italy you didn't even want to see me, and when you did finally agree to see me you actually looked down on me as if I was nothing." I continued.

"No Rosalie, I have found happiness and TRUE LOVE in Elle. She is my friend, companion, listener, girlfriend, and SOUL MATE. I don't want you back, and if we're being honest I stopped loving you the day you and your husband came to see me off." I finished.

"But I'm your maker. I'm the reason your still on this Earth." She hissed angrily.

"The reason I'm here, yes and I will forever thank you for that. As for my maker, no. My maker is my father, Dr Carlisle Cullen. He used to be yours too, or have you changed so much that you've forgotten?" I asked coldly.

She rolled her eyes and put her hood over her hair then started walking to the door, then she ran back stopping right in front of Red again.

"I'm going to enjoy telling the Volturi about you, Gingersnap." She said as she twirled a lock of Red's hair.

Red, angry again, slapped Rosalie's hand away.

We all knew the action would hurt Red, but she never once flinched or showed any sign of fear or pain.

"Your decrepit Voturi don't scare me. They're nothing but a bunch of old men trying to play Gods. But I can assure YOU that I'm going to have fun telling MY friends about you." Red retorted.

Rosalie laughed a high pitched evil laugh. "Who, the wolves? We already know about Jake and his pack of mutts." She practically spit.

Then Red took a bold step forward wearing a wide grin with determination and anger in her eyes as she looked down at Rosalie.

"My friends prefer the term Lycanthrope and I can assure you Blondie, you've never met anything like them."

Then Red turned around, slapping Rosalie with her long fiery hair and walked straight into my all too willing arms.

I wrapped my arms around her and held her tight.

I kissed her hair and then kissed her hand knowing that she hand injured it trying to be tough and stand up to Rosalie.

Rosalie watched us with an odd mix of anger and remorse, then she turned on her heel and ran out the back door.

Not once looking back.

(Elleen)

After Carlisle checked out my hand to make sure nothing was broken. He wrapped it up and gave me an ice pack.

"Carlisle, Esme. I'm So sorry for being so disrespectful and raising my voice in your home." I said sadly.

My parents always raised me with respect and manners and I knew that had that happened at my grand-daddy's house he wouldn't care who started it or what the situation was, you'd get chewed out and he'd make sure you you had a months worth of chores to do as punishment.

"Elle sweetheart, no apology necessary." Carlisle said smiling "Rosalie shouldn't have come to stir up trouble. You were simply standing up for yourself and defending your relationship with our son."

"I hope you don't think she got that attitude and those bad manners from us." Esme said worried.

I smiled at her." No one would ever think that Esme." I said and she hugged me.

I went back down stairs and sat on Emmett's lap.

"Elle darlin' pardon the language but you are quite the little bad ass." Jasper said happily.

"Yeah, I'm gonna start calling you FIRECRACKER." Jacob said smiling.

I was all smiles until Alice and Kate came over looking upset.

"Elleen Finnigan, the next time you decide to step up to a Vampire and smack talk her I will personally lock your tush in one of the upstairs closets." Alice said. Kate nodding in agreement.

I sighed.

"I'm sorry guys, I know what I did was wrong, I just hate bullies and I might not be a vampire but I won't let someone talk down to me. I don't care what it is. vampire, shapeshifter, lycanthrope, witch, or a leprechaun." I said with a smile.

We talked some more before it was time for me to leave so Emmett took me home.

"I'll be right back ok, don't change." He said and kissed me before he left.

He came back almost 20 minutes later to sneak me back out.

Still in his tuxedo, He carried me bridal style to our special spot in the woods.

He put me down when we arrived.

"I'm sorry we didn't get to go to the dance." He said genuinely.

"It's ok" I assured him and kissed him.

"May I have this dance?" He asked just as music started playing.

I looked around and saw everyone dancing on the frozen pond.

Emmett took my hand and walked me over to the pond, then I saw a thick piece of glass was laying on the ground over the pond and some of the ground.

The setting was beautiful, and this dance meant more since all of the family was there.

Tanya wasn't there because according to Kate, she was on a date out of town.

We danced for a little over and hour.

Sometime during the dancing Emmett gave me his jacket

"My Emmett." I said happily as I snuggled into his chest.

"My Elleen." He said as he kissed my head. "I love you Babe."

"And I love you baby." I said smiling.

"Always and forever?"he asked gently.

Without hesitation I replied.

"Always and forever, no matter what."

On Monday at work Cole and I had a lot to talk about.

I told him all about the whole psycho Ex thing.

"I hate bitches like that." He said bitterly. "You want me to bite her next time I turn?" He asked making me laugh.

"No something that rotten would probably upset your stomach." I said playfully.

We talked about other things and then it was his turn to tell me about his weekend.

"So my three siblings are here. And two of them have their mates with them as well." Cole said happily.

I couldn't help but smile with him. "Wow Cole, that's amazing. I'd love to meet them." I said honestly.

"Really?" He asked excitedly.

I smiled and nodded.

"Well you can meet them whenever you want, I've told them all about you and they're just as anxious to meet you too." He said.

"Wait you did tell them about the Cullen's and the Denali's right?" I asked.

"I did, some were weirded out at first while the others were intrigued, we've never actually met Vampires." He explained.

"But I told them how like ourselves, they are different from most of their kind. Then they all became curious so I have a favor to ask." He said nervous now.

"Okay..."

"So you think you could set up a meeting of some sort so we could get to know them better, we'd really like to understand and find out about them." He said.

"Why?" I asked, I honestly would have done it since Carlisle had already asked me but I wanted answers if he's willing to give them.

"Well, we would like to learn about the unknown and hopefully we can build friendships or alliances with other creatures." He confessed.

"Well how about I go over and meet your siblings later after work, then when my boyfriend comes over tonight i'll go over to his place and tell them about you guys and hopefully we can all sit down and get to know each other."

He agreed and we continued working talking excitedly about things he's done in his life.

When it was time to clock out I was super anxious.

"Dad I'm going to Cole's place for a while, I'll have dinner when i come home." I said as I hugged my dad good bye.

I followed Cole back to his house. Without all the bodies, his house was actually quite spacious.

We walked through the house and I saw people.

Just like any ordinary family they were all doing their own things. Two guy were playing a video game on the television while a couple was cooking in the kitchen and One girl was on the phone.

"I'm home!" Cole said grabbing everyone's attention.

"Everyone this is the girl I told you about, Elleen Finnigan."

"Ellie, this is my family."
