Applejack and her dog, Winona, hurried to the barn.

Applejack: C'mon, Winona, we gotta get our chores done!

Granny Smith and her older brother, Big Macintosh, were standing outside waiting for her.

Granny: Applejack! Where in tarnation have you been?

Big Mac: Eeyup.

Applejack: Sorry, Granny, I stayed after school to do my homework, but lost track of time.

Winona jumped into Applejack's arms.

Applejack: Uh, and we had a few delays.

?: Applejack?

Applejack's little sister, Apple Bloom, needed help with her chores.

Apple Bloom: Can you help me?

Applejack: In a minute, I have to finish my homework.

She went into her room to do her homework, just as she was about to get started, she got a call from one of her school friends, Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow: Hey, Apples!

Applejack: Howdy, what's up?

Rainbow: Is it okay if I drop by? I just finished my homework.

Applejack: Not right now, sugarcube. I'm trying to finish my homework, but I could use some help on my chores. I call ya in a bit, alright?

Rainbow: Oh, uh okay.

Applejack hung up and continued her homework. Once she finished, she went outside to do her homework. Rainbow Dash happened to be there.

Applejack: Rainbow Dash, I thought I told you I'd call you.

Rainbow: I know, I couldn't help myself. I had to see my good friend.

Granny: 'Ey, Applejack, who's this.

Applejack: Oh, her? This is Rainbow Dash, she's my friend

Rainbow: Well, I actually owe a lot to Applejack.

Applejack: Oh yeah?

Rainbow: Yup...didn't you say you were busy?

Applejack: Sure. C'mon, let's go do some chores.

The two went to do chores, Applejack wrapped her arm around Rainbow Dash.

Granny: Would'ja look at that, Applejack's already got friends!
