"Envelopes?" said Rainbow Dash. "Yes, I got one too. A blue one?" She showed her blue envelope. 

"Same here," Sci-Twi Sparkle showed her purple envelope. 

"Wait. We all got envelopes?" Applejack said. "Here's mine." She had an orange envelope.

"Looks like we did." Starlight Glimmer pulled out her envelope. 

Then, Fluttershy showed her envelope too. "It seems to me that we all got the same thing? But..why did we get these? I never signed up for any online subscriptions to do with mail?" 

"I'm not sure who it is from, either?" Rarity said. "I haven't ordered anything online, recently?"

"Has anyone opened their envelope to see what is inside them?" said Sunset Shimmer. "It could be anything."

Everyone else said in unison, "Nope." or they shook their head as a response. 

"Looks like, all of us don't know what's inside of it either." Spike said. "I think that it is best, if all of you open your envelopes at the same time, to see what is inside. It doesn't hurt to open any mail. But..hopefully, it's nothing dangerous." He laughed, "Like, Equestrian magic."

"Yeah." Sci-Twi was holding Spike with her hands. "I don't think it would be Equestrian magic. I mean--how would that even fit in a envelope? That makes no sense to me. That possibility seems less likely." she put Spike down on the floor. "According to my calculations, it would be zero percent. Because nothing magical has happened to us in the last 24 hours."

"That is true." said Sunset. "You do make a fair point on that." She then raised her envelope up. "Now, let's get to opening these envelopes together at the same time. On the count of 1..." she was making a countdown. "2...and 3!" 

Every girl in the room immediately opened their envelopes at the same time. "Hey, it's a letter?" Sci-Twi squinted her eyes at her letter. 

"Yes and no." said Applejack. "It is also an invitation. So, it's a mix-up of both things." 

"What does it say?" asked Rarity. "What if all of our's, don't say the same thing on them?"

"Maybe we should take turns on reading each of our's separately out loud?" Fluttershy said, grabbing her letter invite with her hands. "Sunset opened her invite first. So I think, it is fair that she should read her's now. Then, the rest of us can take turns."

"Alright. If you say so, Fluttershy." Sunset said. "I will start off first." She began reading her letter out loud to her friends. 

"Is it anything, important?" Spike asked.

"Dear, Sunset Shimmer." Sunset read aloud. "You have been personally invited to be a free guest with free admission to have fun in the new Wondrous World of Discord Carnival that has just opened in Canterlot. The carnival is near Canterlot High, a few steps away. Its opening hours are Monday through Saturday, at 3:00 PM..through 10:30 PM. Be sure to bring plenty of friends to spend time with and to indulge with..in the joys of laughter. And don't forget to bring this letter to reassure any of the carnival staff, that this is your valid proof of your free admission. Basically, in other words this is your free ticket to go here. Your ticket is valid for all these days and expires on Saturday. Signed, Discord the owner of the Wondrous World Of Discord Carnival. Hmm, that's all my letter says." 

"An invite to a carnival for free!?" Pinkie Pie said. "That sounds like fun. I can't wait to go--"

"But, Pinkie. We don't know yet, if your letter says the same thing of that, or--" Sunset was cut off with Pinkie interrupting her.

"My letter says the same thing as your's, Sunset." said Pinkie. "I'm sorry. I couldn't resist waiting to read it."

Fluttershy and the others then quickly read their letters. 

"Hey, she's right." Starlight Glimmer said. "My letter says the same thing."

"And so does, mine." Fluttershy said. 

"Me, too." Rainbow and Applejack said. 

"Same here." Rarity skimmed through her letter. 

"So do I." Sci-Twi said. "That means that we all got the same letters, then. But what does that mean? And what should we do about it? So.. It's not anything suspicious. Right?"

"It means that we can all go hang out at this new carnival that is near school." Rainbow said. "Is what it means. Don't question it, Twilight. You are overthinking into this matter."

"I think it's just an invite to their new carnival that they are trying to promote for upcoming customers." Sunset said. She then gazed below at Twilight's letter and looked back at her own. "Besides, I am pretty sure that this is legit. I mean, this Discord person who owns this new carnival. They have their own personal signature on the bottom here. Plus, this little logo they have that represents their company and business." She pointed to a small circle symbol of a pen inked stamp that had the sketch of a draconequus on it. 

"Yes, it is a logo." Sci-Twi said. "I see that now. You are right. There is nothing harmless about this, after all."

"Does this mean that we get to go to this!?" Pinkie asked. "I mean, it would be fun to go with friends. We just have to bring our letters as proof of our free admission as tickets to this place."

"Yes." Sunset said. "I am down with this. Is everyone else?--"

"Yes. Of course." Rarity said. "I wouldn't mind going to spend time with you, girls." 

"I would like to go too." Fluttershy said. "I don't have much of a sweet tooth. But, I have really been craving for some cotton candy. It's been a while, since I have had one." 

"I'm down with it too." Rainbow said. "Let's all go after school, today. We will meet by the CHS stallion statue, like we always do. Does that sound, right with everyone else?"

Everyone else nodded their heads or happily gazed at each other and back to Rainbow, as a way to confirm that they were free for that date of time set. 

"Great." Rainbow said. She walked towards the door of the band room to exit. "We will see each other later, then." She waved goodbye with her hand to them. "See ya!"
