SEASON 6B SUMMARY

     Before I even start this chapter, I wanted to deeply apologize for my absence this season. I wanted to write summary's for every episode, but time got away from me. Hell, I didn't get to watch the series finale until an hour ago tonight, so I am super duper sorry about that! However, I thought I'd say farewell by giving a review for the season as a whole and also say my goodbyes to the show we've all grown to love.

     I'm not even sure where to start...I feel like I have so many emotions bottled up that I can't pinpoint what I exactly want to talk about the most. How about this...I'll have main topic titles and go from there. Maybe that's a good idea?

NEW CHARACTERS

Teen Wolf has always been famous for introducing new characters when they can barely focus on the ones they already have, but this season, I actually didn't mind some of them. Granted, I could rant for days about characters that were long forgotten that shouldn't have been, but let's just focus on the positives at first.

Let's start with the best one of them all, and I bet you've all already guessed who I'm talking about: Nolan. Yes, for the beginning of the season, he was such a lil shithead that I loved to hate, but damn y'all...he's still cute as hell. Not to mention that Froy is the sweetest bean to ever walk this earth, so it makes it hard to hate Nolan at all? Plus, Nolan redeemed himself in the end by helping out our beloved pack members, so he counts as a precious puppy in my book.

Next we have Monroe. Truthfully, her character drove me nuts since she reminded me of a female version of Gerard, but guys...holy hell is she a gorgeous actor. EVERY time they had a close up shot of her, I was like "woah I'm lost in her eyes" and "damn, what's her skincare routine?" Overall though, the writers did decent when it came to writing her. Her background story was sort of interesting to me, and it shone a light on something I never realized back in 5b...scott and the others rarely checked for survivors? What was up with that?

That brings me to Gabe...he wasn't as important of a character this season, but I didn't mind him all that much either. Of course, I think he died a pretty violent death, but idk guys...was it fair, or was it not? I can't decide honestly. He was trying to kill our faves...but that moment of him with Theo at the end was one of the best scenes in the finale. Really warmed my heart to see Theo doing something that wasn't for himself for a change.

Now to talk about one of my faves...QUINN! I really really loved seeing her on the screen, because just like Froy, she's such a sweetheart on twitter as well. Plus, I thought she really killed it as a werewolf. She sure was SEX-A-Y. Not to mention I was shook to find out that she was the daughter of that one science teacher...WHO WAS ALSO AN ALPHA??? Still shooKETH

As for new characters, that's all who really comes to mind. If I missed someone, I'm terribly sorry! Comment who your favorite new character was though!

SHIPS

now to the fun part of Teen Wolf...all of the lovely ships! this season I wasn't too amused with the ships, but like I state before, this is about the positives...not about the negatives! (but I will rant about them soon I promise)

first we have the main one, which was stalia. If any of you guys are reoccurring readers here, you know that in chapters past I've expressed interest in these two becoming a couple. Well, I got my way, and I'm here to say that I wasn't that huge of a fan. I do love them together, since she makes Scotty happy and she even helped him focus to heal his eyes, but what I didn't like was how they just brushed over Kira. I was hoping there would be some sort of explanation of that, since Scott and Kira never really broke up ?? I hate how Scott just forgot about her and moved on like that...really breaks my heart actually. All in all, I guess it wasn't awful, but not the best thing by any means.

next up we have stydia, which I could rant about all day. I'm a little pissed that I waited 5 or so years to get a damn good ending for these two, and in return we got dust. In the finale we got a hand holding scene and that's about it...not even a SIMPLE KISS? I don't know about you guys, but I'll always be livid about this. They were my first real OTP and I hate to see them go out like this. It's not fair to any of us...but oh well I guess, it marks the end to a great era.

Moving on to one of my new favorite OTPS....JACKSON AND ETHAN! Now they were a real power couple !! That scene of them in London fighting the hunters was absolutely epic! I had a great time watching that and it really was something I'm glad they included. Also I busted out laughing when Lydia said "I thought you'd never figure it out..." LMAO!

A new popular ship this season as well was Thiam, which I started to like in the end. I mean, I never was a fan of Hayden in the first place, same with Theo too, but Theo really started to grow on me. Plus, he was there to save Liam's ass plenty of times. I'm glad to see that he's grown into someone that I trust, and I could definitely get behind him and Liam being a couple (;

I'm like blanking out on the other ships right now? I'm glad to see that Melissa and Chris ended up together, even though I did like Melissa and Noah as well...but I can see Melissa and Chris being a real power couple for sure.

STORYLINE

I really did enjoy the storyline for 6b. It did get boring at times however, but it still kept you wondering what was going to happen next. I was however a little disappointed with the final fight, since it just wasn't as big as I thought it would. I was expecting more gunpower and more blood I guess, but that's just me.

As for the whole weird faceless dude, I thought that was pretty cool. I liked the special effects for him a whole lot, and the turning to stone idea was interesting, but what I didn't like was the final fight for him as well. You'd think he'd have a little more punch...at least beat Scott a little bit more before losing. I'm still confused as to how mountain ash "killed" him? They made this thing out to be so powerful...that only a hellhound could kill it for crying out loud. But yet it died because of some ash? I thought that stuff only trapped them..not killed them. Did I just miss something?

But that does bring me to something that I LOVED. I'm glad they incorporated their fears into this creature though...especially when we got to see each one of Scott's fears. My favorite being...yes  you guessed it...VOID STILES. Sure, it wasn't much of a scene, since it was like ten seconds, but DAMN...I was snatched at that. I wish they would have done more with it but oh whale I guess..It was still fuckin awesome.

ALSO, random thought, but this is what I was wondering this whole season: if Gerard and the others were so hellbent to kill all of the supernaturals, wouldn't they have had to kill Gerard then too? Since back in season two, Derek bit him? Shouldn't he be a werewolf right now? Random thought I guess, but maybe I'm just missing/forgetting something like always. If I am, someone please explain this to me, lmao.

DEATHS

There weren't TOO many deaths this season, which is both a blessing and a curse. I only say that because I feel like important deaths really make things stick in my mind better (I only say this because I'm a writer..I find amusement to kill off good characters muahah) but also I'm glad because I'm happy all of my faves got to live a good life.

The first two main deaths of the season were Brett and his sister. Quite honestly, I never really was a big fan of Brett at all. I never understood the hype about him (I never thought he was cute either?) but I was upset about his death. I hated it because it really hit Liam hard, and that wasn't fair to him, since it wasn't even his fault. Plus, Brett and his sister didn't deserve to die. They were still teenagers...it wasn't fair at all. But I did feel like it needed to happen from a writers point a view...since it really set the scene for us viewers to be scared of monroe and what she would and could do.

Next we have Deucalion, which I am still distraught over. His death was so pointless and dumb...he didn't deserve it at all. I really honored how peaceful and content with life he was this season, and all he wanted to do was help and stay away from the gunfire. He died for nothing I thought it was a sloppy move from the writers but oh well I guess. It added another shock affect in a way.

Gerard...that dumb old man needed to die at the beginning of the season, not the end. I'm glad Kate got to do it though...she deserved to do it the most, if not Scott (who wouldn't of course) or Chris. I'm glad that they don't have to worry about his old ass anymore.

CHARACTER ANALYSIS

I figured I needed to talk about my thoughts on each character and how they've progressed through the seasons, and I could't be more glad yet sad to be writing it.

Scott: Dear God, this boy has gone through utter hell and back. I cannot believe that years ago, we started with a simple sixteen year old boy that was bitten by a werewolf and was so scared and alone...who now is an alpha surrounded with his pack and his friends. Scott has to be one of my favorite characters of all time, mostly because of how much I honor his dedication and his heart. Lord, his heart is so big. I didn't think it was possible for it to get any bigger as time we on, but he kept proving me wrong time and time again. He always wanted to help, and he always did his best. I'm so proud of Scott and how he progressed...I couldn't be more happy.

Stiles: My boy...I cannot believe we have to say goodbye to him. I still feel so deprived of him, since we barely got any scenes in season six, but I guess we'll just have to live with it. I'm happy to see how far he's come as well. He was such a bright soul that went through hell and still managed to keep his optimism and sarcasm. We need more Stiles' in this world, and I'm going to miss his jokes so much.

Lydia: I don't even know how to explain how amazing her character development was. We started off with a snobby girl who only cared about popularity to a girl who only wanted to protect her friends and fight for what she believed in. Lydia by far has come the farthest out of everyone, with her powers and with her character. I'll sure miss her bright smile on my screen and that banshee scream of hers...along with her killer clothing style!

Derek: My strong sour werewolf...I love him so much and I'm glad that they were able to bring him back for a little bit in the final season. Granted, I kinda wished they would have explained what he had been up to better in his time of absence, along with what in the hell happened to Braeden, but oh well I guess. Derek has come a long way from where he was as well, and I couldn't be more proud of my baby to come help out one last time.

Malia: she has to be the most progressed character when it comes to me, since I started off hating her and now here I am in absolute love. I love what they did with Malia and helped her grow throughout the seasons, not to mention her awesome humor that Shelley brought to life so well. I'm going to miss Malia a whole bunch, I know that for sure.

Everyone else: I am so proud of all of the other characters, such as Liam, Mason, Corey, Kira, Allison, Isaac, Jackson, Ethan, and more for how far they all have come. I thought I'd just sum these guys up here, since I don't really have time to sum each of them up. They all have grown close to my heart and it will be hard being able to let them all go </3

THE GOOD AND THE BAD

During Teen Wolf's time on TV, there were many good and bad things that I wanted to discuss. Let's start with the god, shall we?

Teen Wolf was one of those shows that you could easily relate to. Sure, none of us are werewolves or kitsunes (??) but we could all easily relate to the central themes on the show, such as love, family, honesty, growth, trust, and hope. I have read countless impacts that the show has had on certain people, and nothing makes me smile more than knowing that this show had such a big impact.

For myself, this show really helped me develop into who I am today. Teen Wolf was how I first started writing, and without them, I probably wouldn't be here writing this here right now. Teen Wolf has also shown me that I can be my own anchor...that there is always hope, even on the darkest of days. I truly cannot thank the writers and the actors enough.

While I could go on forever about the good, I want to hear your guys' tributes to the show. Comment here please and tell me/us your tie to the show and why you'll miss it so much. xx

The bad of Teen Wolf is something we probably don't want to talk about, and I don't want to start any fights at all by writing this, but I wanted to include it because I thought that some of these things were important to discuss.

Kira...she was the main reason I wanted to include the bad side of Teen Wolf into this. I'll forever be bitter about the writers casting her aside, and we all know why. They claimed that she had no purpose in season 6, but while I was watching the season, I could have fit her into so many plotlines myself. Not to mention the fact that they didn't clear up anything with Scotty and her...they just had Scott move on to Malia which will forever make me mad as well. To me, it felt like Scott forgot about her or "cheated" on her in a way, since they never really called things off. I still wonder what became of my badass kitsune, but she'll always live on in my heart.

Another thing that made me angry was the ending of stydia. Sure, I know that Dylan couldn't be around much to film most of the last season, but like...I've been waiting for years to get a good ending of the two of them, and instead we got one hand holding scene in the finale and not even a simple kiss?? I know I probably sound like a stupid shipper right now, but seriously? They had us waiting this ship out for YEARS and that was how they ended the whole thing? I'm sorry but uGH

WHATS TO COME

I've heard some talk about there possibly being some sort of side show? Teen Wolf ending on a good final note that they could continue on with, such as with that new character we met there at the end (alex I think?) or they've also discussed having a show about Liam and the others, but who knows what might happen. I don't want to get your guys' hopes up too high, but I thought I'd let you know what I've heard birdies talking about (;

FINAL GOODBYE

so...this is it. This is the dreaded goodbye to the show that I've come to love over the past few years.

I wanted to thank you all for reading this book, even when I've been annoying as hell sometimes. It means the world to me to know that people actually cared to hear my thoughts and opinions on the show, and I met a lot of cool people through this book that I will always be thankful for. I love you all so so so much <3

As for Teen Wolf...I can speak for most of us when I say that we will miss you. The show will always have a special place in my heart that I cannot thank you enough for all that you've done for me and for others.

For the rest of you guys, I hope that I continue to see you around here on Wattpad, and don't feel afraid to send me a message if you EVER want to talk. This might be a goodbye to Teen Wolf, but I don't want it to be a goodbye to the rest of you guys. I love you too much to say goodbye for good <3

and that's a wrap! remember to always watch your back...you never know what creatures are lurking out there in the dark (;
