[14] THE SWORD AND THE SPIRIT
Favorite. Episode. Yet.
Before I start freaking out about everything that happened this episode, I'll try and start with the more serious topics; like how Gerard literally knows more about the Dread Doctors than the rest of us. Yeah, he's old and knows a lot, but he needs to literally share that damn knowledge with the rest of them. If he knows why they're down there and why they're hiding the bodies, do tell.
And Liam and Scott made up, thank God! I was a little angry that Liam didn't apologize earlier, but now that he explained himself it makes more sense. I'm just glad they're all back together again! #ThePackIsBack is literally my favorite hashtag from tonight, along with #HotDog...omfg
Meredith helping Lydia was one of my favorite things from tonights episode. Showing her how to find her scream and to amplify it was one thing that made me sob at how much Lydia has developed over time, but I was also sobbing at Merideth's story about her scream. I really do appreciate Meredith more after this episode, and it makes me wonder where she actually is in the real world. Is she still in Eichen? If so I hope Stiles and the rest of them save her along with Lydia. Meredith deserves it.
But Lydia. Saved. Malia. Lydia Martin saved Malia by screaming. How bad ass is that? Malia and her mother actually heard and saw what Lydia's scream can do, which baffles me. Before Lydia could barely do anything with her scream, now she's amplifying it all the way across town? Talk about skills there. Seeing Lydia freak out about almost watching Malia die goes to show how much these girls care for one another in the show, another reason why girl power is awesome. They don't need no man to take care of them when they've got a bad ass banshee willing to do anything to save their tails.
Malia. I knew the moment she wanted to work with Theo it wasn't going to work out. I'll admit, it was a little hot to watch Theo and her work together for awhile, but after he shot her...it was a whole different fucking story. It's one thing to lead Malia to her mother and play her on like that, but to literally shoot her and leave her for dead in order to get some dumb claws...that's so low. And for that I have written Theo a nice little poem.
Roses are red
Malia's eyes are blue
And mine will be too
After I kill you
Not the best poem but you get the message. But now Theo has Deucalion...who I thought was going to be more on Scott's side of things, but boy was I wrong. He literally wants Scott's eyes for some unknown reason to me...didn't he sort of help him get his eyesight back for a little while in the first place? But damn everyone needs to lay off Scott McCall. He's just in high school.
And the stydia moment. Of course I have to talk about this. His voice was so soft and gentle when he spoke to her, it gave me chills. You could see how much he wants her to come back to him, to them, it breaks my heart. But as soon as Natalie came in, you could hear how angry he was at her. Natalie seriously pissed me off with the whole "Get out. Or you'll never come back again" like no Stiles is a free man and can whatever the hell he wants. But he stole a keycard to come back so sUCK ON THAT NATALIE!!!
Did anyone else see the parallel when Liam met Gerard? Like how Isaac had first met Peter? I couldn't stop laughing omg. The funny part about it to me is that Isaac and Liam both follow Scott around like adorable puppies and are so clueless; I love it so much. And Gerard saying "That color looks nice on you" I was cheering like YAS BITCH THEY DO DON'T THEY?!?
Then there was the image on the wall, the one we've already seen before minus the dead bodies on the bottom. No big deal...right? Just two monsters fighting it out while leaving a trail of dead bodies yAY.
So tell me: do you guys remember that theory on Parrish being Isaac's brother that "died?" Well, what if that's actually true? Like we saw tonight, Parrish had literally been blown to pieces by that bomb in Afghanistan, where Isaac's brother had "died." What if Parrish did die, is actually Isaac's brother, but just forgot everything? After all, he's on the same wall as the beast, the creature who is trying to remember who it was. What if the same thing is happening to Parrish? He doesn't remember who he is at all.
But seriously, I'm still wondering if Gerard is actually a wolf and if we'll ever get to see that. Maybe it went dormant or something? Idk but it would be pretty cool to see something like the someday.
Thoughts on Kira losing her sword?
Do you think Lydia is right; that they all are going to die?
Will Scott look good with an eyepatch...excuse me, two eye patches?
Did that Matheo scene look kinky at first to you too? #FiftyShadesofShady
Who do you think the beast is, if it's anyone we know at all?
How panicked would you be if you saw that happening at your school?
Is Malia's mom thirsty...for power that is? (no wonder she liked Peter smh)
Whah lotta questions, I just couldn't help myself. But yeah, let me know your thoughts and leave theories if you have any, I love to read them!
Before I go, just know...
