The next thing we see is Kylo Ren's helmet being repaired.

It looks like Ben/ Kylo is putting the helmet back together himself. I would actually love to see him fixing something just because he is Anakin's grandson, and Han Solo's son. Both of them were good at fixing things and I would like to see that trait passed to Ben.

The helmet was literally shattered...

...just like Ben's heart. And now he is trying to piece his helmet and himself back together again.
I find it interesting that the reforging of his helmet is actually shown in Episode IX. Because of the time gap, I had assumed that he would already have his helmet at the beginning of the movie.
But because we actually see him putting the helmet back together again, it makes me wonder if something happens during the movie that causes him to put the helmet back together again.

Next we see Finn and Poe standing on a rocky terrain in the desert.

This looks like a neat scene.
Finn what are you doing with Rey's staff?
Rey isn't in this scene, and Finn has her staff, so I think that they could have gotten separated. Maybe Finn and Poe are looking for Rey.

Then we see BB-8 and a new droid, I can't wait to see how this droid will be!

Then we see the Millennium Falcon going into hyper drive.

Then we see Lando and Chewbacca flying the Millennium Falcon.

I love how he is smiling in this scene. I love how everyone smiles when they pilot the Falcon, it really makes driving a car look boring.

I can't wait to see that. I think Lando is going to be a cool character in Episode IX. I wonder if we will get to see a reunion between Lando and Leia.
And maybe they will even tie in the Solo movie by having him mention L3!

It's not so much that I want there to be a sequel to Episode IX, as long as it ends good then I will be happy and I already know that we're going to get more Star Wars stories like Rogue One and Solo.
It's just that I know that now that Disney owns Star Wars, they are going to see it as an opportunity to make money. Even if the movie is terrible, it's Star Wars so it's going to make a lot of money.
I doubt there will be a sequel any time soon, but within ten, twenty, thirty, even forty years they will probably make a sequel. Either that, or they'll try to make a remake. Personally I would much rather have a sequel than a remake. You can't remake Star Wars, it's Star Wars!
But if they do decide to do a sequel several years from now, I hope they don't wait almost 40 years like they did with the Force Awakens. That forced them to kill off the original characters sooner than they would have. And Carry Fisher didn't get to live to see Episode IX, which is sad to me. If they wait 40 years again, the same thing will happen. 10, 20 years would be perfectly fine.
If Episode IX has a satisfying end, Ben is redeemed, the first order is either stopped or changed from its evil ways, Rey and Ben show some sign of their feelings for each other, and all of our questions are answered, I won't really care rather they continue the story or they don't. But if the ending isn't satisfying, then I'll be upset if they don't make a sequel right after Episode IX.
Indiana Jones The Last Crusade was supposed to be the last movie, but they made another one several years later. That's why I don't really believe that this movie will be the end.
