After I saw this picture, I realized that there are actually a lot of similarities between Rey's outfit in Episode IX and Padme's outfit in Episode II.

They are wearing similar white pants, and they are both wearing white scarves. Padme even has an arm band in the same place as Rey. Of course Padme has one on both sides, and Rey's is made of leather. But the similarities are remarkable.
So I decided to make some Reylo fan art inspired by pictures of Anakin and Padme from the Attack of the Clones.

As I was looking at different pictures of Padme from the Attack of the Clones to compare to Rey's outfit in Episode IX, I discovered something.

Padme has a scar on her right arm, in the same place that Rey has a scar on her right arm.

Anakin has a scar near his right eye.

Ben also has a scar near his right eye.

There are definitely some intentional parallels here.

This was Han and Leia's first kiss. It was also considered to be the most romantic kiss of the movie, and even the trilogy to some.

This was considered to be one of the most romantic kisses of the prequels. In this scene Padme was also wearing a solid white outfit.

Now Rey is wearing a solid white outfit, so will we finally get to see a kiss between her and Ben?

So, I decided to draw a picture of Rey and Ben inspired by Anakin and Padme's kiss.

Actually, before the teaser trailer was released, I had a theory that Episode IX might actually have a similar plot to the Attack of the Clones and that they might actually make an Episode X that was similar to the Revenge of the Sith.
Basically, my theory was that Rey and Ben would fall in love through their Force bond, like Anakin and Padme fell in love on Naboo. But there would be a lot more going on than in the Attack of the Clones, and the tension between Rey and Ben would be higher than it was between Anakin and Padme, because they are on opposing sides of the war. The war was what brought Anakin and Padme together, and the Force is what pulled them apart. The war is pulling Rey and Ben apart, but the Force is what is pulling them together.
One of the biggest things from the Attack of the Clones that I thought would happen, or that wanted to happen was a secret wedding between Rey and Ben, like the wedding between Anakin and Padme. But it would be even more intense, especially if she was still with the Resistance and on the Light Side, and he was still with the First Order and on the Dark Side. Yet they are willing to accept each other.
One thing that would have been neat about this is that in Episode X, which I thought might be a few years later like Episode III, is that it would be even harder for Rey and Ben to get to see each other than it was for Anakin and Padme. And they might even be forced into fighting each other. Which would have been kind of interesting to see, especially if they were secretly married. They would be trying not to hurt each other but also trying not to let on to the First Order and the Resistance that they loved each other.
Also I have noticed that there have been a lot of debates in the comments over cannon and non cannon Star Wars characters. And I know that some Star Wars fans are upset because the Solo twins are no longer cannon. But my thought was that they can still become cannon, but just be different than they were in the legends. They could be Rey and Ben's kids which would still make them Solos.
So my idea was basically that in Episode X, which I thought would be similar to The Revenge of the Sith, Rey would be pregnant with twins. Which would both be a parallel to Padme and make the Solo twins cannon again. (This would also open the door for future Star Wars films)
In Episode III Anakin turned to the Dark Side because he loved Padme. So in Episode X I wanted Ben to turn to the Light Side because he loved Rey.
Basically I wanted Episode X to be a reverse of the Revenge of the Sith, with a happy ending.
Maybe I will write a Fan fiction like this one day.
