This is one reason why I actually like Rey being "no one." It proves that no matter who you are or where you come from, you are important. Anyone can be a Jedi.
I have a friend who was basically abandoned by her parents and Rey really inspired her. That even though she may feel like her parents don't care about her, it doesn't mean that she isn't special or important. That she can become something, regardless of where she came from.
I also think that if they decide to continue Star Wars, these children would be the perfect trio. Two boys and a girl. And we already know that one of them has the Force. One thing that would be unique about these characters being the main trio is that they grew up together. Their bond would be so close.
Personally, I don't know if this will happen, but I would love it if it did. I am thinking of writing an Episode X - XIII fan fiction trilogy where these three kids are the main characters. It will take place a few years after Episode IX, when they're teenagers.
Please let me know what you think of this idea.
