"What's your problem dude?" The muscular man chuckled as we saw a figure approaching us. I was only able to see his eyes cuz he was wearing a mask.

"Let her go" he repeated again.

But they didn't listen because the other man continued leaning in towards me but that stopped when the masked face beat the other up which made him fall flat on the ground.

"I. Said. Let. Her. Go." he said it again and this time he was angry. He pulled the man away from me and beat him up as well. Almost immediately they ran off grunting.

I slided down the wall still crying in shock.

"Hey it's okay. You're safe now" the unknown guy spoke softly leaning down.

I immediately hugged him without thinking cuz I was afraid to know what would happen to me,if he wasn't there to save me.

"T-thank y-you so much-h for saving m-me" I choked looking at him. The only thing I could see was his big warm doe eyes staring back at me.

"No issues Y/n" his eyes wrinkled a bit which showed that he was smiling as he helped me to stand up.

Huh? Wait.. How does he know my name?

I was confused. "How do you know my-"

"You dropped this on your way out of the store" he cut off my words, giving me my wallet back.

Oh.

"Ah! Thanks" I smiled slightly at him.

"Let me walk you home" he volunteered, but I refused. "Come on you still look shaken and it's late, so let me" he smiled.

I was still frightened about the incident. I just wanted to go home as soon as possible. He seems nice and I didn't want to undergo the same incident again.

I nodded.

It was a silent walk, as we walked beside each other. When I reached the familiar gate, I turned towards him "It's here"

He nodded and looked at me.

"Thank you so much for saving me" I thanked him for the nth time.

He just chuckled and shook his head. "Just don't walk alone at this time of the night again. Hope we meet again in a better situation" he smiled waving as he turned walking away.

Just as I was about to step inside, I remembered that I didn't know his name. I turned back around to ask him "Hey! Wha-" he had already walked off.
Sigh.

Maybe next time if we meet..

I stepped inside while thinking of that incident. As I was about to open my room door Taehyung's voice startled me. "Y/n! What took you so long?!" he was practically shouting with worry laced in his voice.

My back was facing him.
If I tell him he will be really worried and I don't want that

"Why aren't you answering me?!"he sounded annoyed.

Just think of some excuse y/n! Soon!

But before I could answer I was swiftly turned around by him.

"Wh-" he stopped in shock.

Curse my eyes for remaining red even after I tear

"Y/N..? What happened? Why are your eyes red? Why are you shivering? Are you okay?" he bombarded me with questions, this time his voice was soft with concern.

There goes my excuse 🚮

"N-no it's nothing Tae" I shook my head before turning around to open my door so that I could escape from telling him, but that didn't go as planned. My hand was no more on the door handle but in his grasp as he pulled me into his room.

He made me sit on his bed while he sat beside me.

"What happened?" he asked in a stern voice.

He knows there's something, that's why he's being adamant. You can never escape without telling him the truth. I know he won't buy any of my excuses now. There's no way but to tell him..

I broke down while telling him about the incident and the mysterious guy who saved me. Taehyung was listening carefully with worry visible in his eyes. He hugged me and whispered soothing words while rubbing my back.

"I w-was really s-scared tae" I choked.
"Shhh.. you're safe here. Don't worry I'm here with you" he said softly.

With his continuous soothing words I found myself drifting off to sleep.

Taehyung pov

It's almost 8:30pm and she's still not here yet. I was annoyed. When she comes back she has a lot of explaining to do.
As I was drinking water I heard the front door close. Y/n must be back. I thought.

I see her walking towards her room. I follow her and before she could open the door I shout at her
"Y/n! What took you so long?!" I saw her flinch at my tone.

She wasn't replying and this made me even more annoyed.
"Why aren't you answering me?!"

Aish why is she turning the other way! My face is not the door!

What is wrong with her?

"Wh-" I stopped in shock when I turned her around to face me.

Her eyes were red and her face looked pale and she was shivering.
She looked frightened..
I have never seen her like this before..

"Y/N..? What happened? Why are your eyes red? Why are you shivering? Are you okay?" Before my mind could process, my mouth bombarded her with questions.
"N-no it's nothing Tae" she stammered avoiding eye contact with me.

Bullshit. She is hiding something for sure.

Before she could open the door I grabbed her hand and pulled her to my room. I made her sit on my bed while I sat beside her facing her.

"What happened?" I asked in a stern voice.

I listened carefully as she told me about the alley incident while breaking down and about the mysterious guy who had saved her.
I hugged her and whispered soothing words to her while rubbing her back to ease her.

"I w-was really s-scared tae" she choked which made my chest tighten and feel guilty for not being there for her.
"Shhh.. you're safe here. Don't worry I'm here with you" I said softly.

Those bastards! They should rot in hell!

Aish! I should have picked her up even though she refused. stupid Taehyung!

Whoever that guy is I thank him a lot for saving y/n..

My thoughts were cut off by hearing small snores below me. I looked down to see Y/n sleeping on my chest which made me smile. She's so cute.

Taehyung! What are you thinking?!
She's not cu- okay she is...

I made her lie on my bed as I didn't have the heart to wake her up. I pulled the blanket over her body which made her snuggle closer.

"Don't worry Y/n, I will always be there for you" I whispered softly.

I walked out of the room closing the door behind me and proceeded to her room to sleep since she was occupying mine.
